The older he has gotten the slower and less he speaks but, my opinion is that that is because life itself is taking its toll on him mentally, like it does with a lot of people and just has less to say. I can't even enjoy Matchroom fights. As soon as it's clear who is the popular fighter, it becomes clear who's gonna be given the decision.
