@@3jeez i can't imagine that would end well for actual cops. patrol cars have gps in them, if they are in on this, they would get fired immediately after a chase. also as a cop you need to file reports on chases, your patrol car isn't a car you can just take out to cruise. all usage, mileage and wear is documented.

@anonymous The turbo series started at 2015, so the latest naturally aspirated one is the 2014, RIP....
@anonymous I have one. The facelifts are pretty bulletproof because the headbolt issue was fixed. Other things that can go wrong are the camshafts and lifters but it's very rare, if u change the oil often and u can even do preventative maintenance and change out the parts if they need doing. Best to regularly inspect then you won't have any unwelcome suprises

Worst thing about America is the amount of cops - they are actually slower than our cops in Sweden (at least all videos of chases I have seen), but they are so many that they can quickly call other units and put up road blocks. I also guess they will not hesitate to bring out a helicopter either (here, they usually don't do that, just for chasing speeders - unless you are unlucky it's already in the air coming back from some other mission).
