Many venues evolve over time and that's definitely the case with Worsbrough Reservoir on the outskirts of Barnsley. We recently joined Nick Speed on the bank for a session to see exactly how the venue has changed in recent months... and how to approach it on the feeder.

A massive well done Nick ,Great informative vid from 1 of the best anglers in Britain.A true all rounder and a bit of a character to boot so it doesn't become boring.Good luck in All your up and coming matches .Top Angler.
thanks nick loved that
A masterclass of long range feeder fishing by one of the best, he explains everything in detail, i would to see Speedy and Ringer on a fish off next peg to each other theres nothing in them, both best in the business. Cheers Nick
Love listening to speedy ,learn a lot from top top angler.
Thanks for a really informative video Nick.
Thanks Nick, got a lot from that!
Love your take on float line for the method/ hybrid feeder Nick. I never thought about it but as you rightly say should you get an early line bite you know your bait is very close to the fish. Genius. I have seen many ways to attach a shock leader but l have preferred your way for many years. a small loop on main line and then half blood knot makes a strong but tidy connection. I always thought this way was the easy way and l'm very happy a very established match angler prefers this way too. Good luck on Sunday let's hope your maggot and adative does the business.
Great video, thanks Nick. How this guy isn't in the England Feeder setup I'll never know.
Definitely is shallow there, when they closed it you could walk across it on the dry mud, went for my usual walk round, watched the fish spawn and kids playing on hard mud
do you leave the band of maggots out of the feeder?
Do maggots go in or out of the feeder.
I’m sure he answered this on another video He puts the maggots or hookbait in the feeder so they don’t get tangled on the cast But He likes the feeder load to break down and release the hook bait naturally I think
looks like peg 56,57ish
