  • I would love to see a couple kids in a beatup 1963 Lonestar runabout ,1970 Evinrude 60hp missing the engine cowling for rope starting, shorts, t-shirt, big boxy orange life jackets, win one these tournaments with Zebco closed face spinners.. Even if they had to catch the fish ahead of time, and stash them.

  • My buddy has a Stroker with a 300 he was running 96 mph fastest boat I’ve ever been on. This video reminded me of that ride the camera was perfect he took us all for a ride. Awesome video!!!! 🇺🇸👍🏽

  • Great Video!!! Almost bought a Bullet a few years ago that was in great shape and had a Johnson 200. IMHO best looking bass boat ever built. Wife said NO!!! Where are all the grandkids gonna sit!! Anyways.......you got a bad ass ride there!!

  • This was bad ass loved it when I was a kid my dad had a 20ft bullet with a 235 Johnson it was fast nothing like this but I grew up on that boat and my dad out ran all of his buddies with it some of my best memories

    • I was going to be that guy and point out that the co-angler removes life jacket before boat motor operation has stopped. Most clubs have a dq rule for safety along those lines.

    • @@andrewmechelke8209 most tournaments I fish you have to have your life jacket on while boat is on plane. If it was while big motor is on, most people would be DQ just loading and unloading off the trailer to the dock.

  • That's why those engines have Roller bearings on the mains and rods and wrist pins, so they can handle the high rpms for a continued run. When you hear those ridiculous Jet boats with the Big Blown V-8s, they can only hold high rpms for a short burst, then have to back off or they'll Self Destruct, only friction bearings in those....

    • I still prefer a 18.5 ft boat with a 150 on the back. 60 MPH if I needed it 38 MPH standard cruising speed and small enough to navigate through the stump fields with ease. I've never felt like I lost a tournament because of the extra 5 minutes it takes me to go 30 miles.

    • @@rustyshakelford9777 It is for the average guy that fishes for fun and maybe the odd tournament. The pros can run 150 miles to one spot so they need the speed. We had one ass clown complaining his coil pack cut out and his speed dropped down below 40 mph. That was in a fun tournament where every boat has 2 kids under 17 in it and it's on a river that's maybe a half mile wide at it's widest. We were getting passed 4 wide by guys doing 50 mph so they could beat everyone 4 or 5 miles up the river. I would buy a boat like that but I can't afford the diesel truck with the 14 inch lift kit.

  • Funny story , my first experience at a bass tournament with a small V- hull Glassmaster with a 50 on the back , at the start of the race the rooster tails from the high powered boats just about swapped my boat , we were lucky we had put our soft top on or would have drowned in the process! 😂

  • Mercury motors, when they run,they run good. But my 96 200 has went through 2 head gaskets,I have to beat the shit out of the ecu with my net handle to get it to work,trim went out, and now what I thought was a spun prop was actually some lower unit fuckery.i believe my next boat will have a yammy

  • Won a tourny in a 16' glasstream with a 75hp Mariner once. Can't believe how much shit I got for that. When I'd had ENOUGH, I dropped my shorts, slapped my ass, and yelled KISS THIS!!...... A round of applause followed. Damn,.... They weren't that bada fellas after all.

  • Bullet makes a fine and beautiful boat and Mercury builds a great outboard. The man has serious driving skills but STILL that is to fast for water that has other boats on it. Slower traffic is put in danger is my point. Not a hater , I just recognize the obvious. Be safe and catch a bagful and let everyone live to see it.
