Rockstar Games has just announced that they will be raising the price of there in game service GTA Plus for GTA Online. In this video I state my opinions on the matter and support it with several theories. This GTA Plus price raise might be due to GTA 6 delay or testing grounds for what people will pay down the road. Either way let me know your thoughts on this.

are you paying for the GTA Plus increase?
I will only pay from now on if the rewards are good.
The main reason their doing it is because of all the rockstar games they are adding to it. But sort of useless if u have ps+ essential...where u can play most those games for free so basically paying for 2 services that have the same games. But they need to up the gta+ and stop giving out clothes mainly. And they need FAR better months then what they have given out I think 3 or 4 months that's been it since they started 2 yrs ago. When they did diamonds,panther statue,and the past 2 months.

Their CEO is a sleazeball and has got to go! They just doubled his salary, while laying off close to 600 of their employees most who worked on GTA 6. And they canceled several games in development. So get used to only seeing GTA 5 and 6 in the future.

To be fair, ‘the battle pass’ in RDO was purchased with gold, which you can earn playing normally. You also earned all the gold you spent on pass back once you reached max level in the outlaw pass.

Gta plus is only worth if you are someone who really can’t afford the old games and can only rely on monthly payments. However if you only get it for gta 5 purely, not worth it.

rockstar new exactly what they are doing they know people are addicted to this game, they offer before the increase 1 million additional plus new games. and then the increase, not looking good for gta 6

I have no idea why they increased the price. Rockstar is so random with shit it’s like it makes you question. I doubt it’s funding for GTA 6 since they’re a multimillion company that’d be stupid if that’s the case. GTA+ is a scam, the only thing that’s a W about it right now is the 100 car garage which is cool. Every thing else is not that good. I can see this being test though on the battle pass system for GTA 6 though. Ever since they added the career progress to the game, it sort of feels like a test from them for a battle pass to add to 6, except it’s free stuff you earn. Idk man but Rockstar is just so random asf with things lmao

All new games I've got this year wwe 2k24 / skull and bones and others have season passes. But am happy to earn what I get in each game. I bought the cheapest version of each game and am having fun unlocking stuff. I don't like this pay 2 win crap. The way I see it if you got something before me that I had to grind 4 then you paid to win an if all games go like that I'll just play 1 player games from now on.
pay to win is becoming the norm and definitely taking the fun out of gaming and earning things and unlocking things.

Jack as my opinion I'm alright with the price but I've been dealing with Rockstar games for years now I know what they're up to they're just raising the price to increasing that revenue to make it end of the year of 2024 until 2025 Is out remember all of us is waiting for gta 6 well I've been a Rockstar games fan for 21 years from a child to a man although we are very patient waiting on the graphics especially them new guns and robberies and encounter in game events for my experience I listen to the storyline and the online version of the story with dlcs in gta 6 I'm not mad at Rockstar why they raise their price to 8$ but I understand themselves well I'm very satisfied what's going on in the summer dlc at least it's just 2 months
