How To Make A Pipe Notcher | Simple Diy Tube Notcher Without Welding | DIY
Hello Everyone!
Today I show you how to make a pipe notcher without welding. I used metal pieces and allen bolts to make this diy tube notcher. This homemade pipe notcher is really very simple to make because this diy pipe notcher does not need welding to make it. Pipe notching is very easily made by using this diy pipe notcher. Various angles of notching can be made on the pipe or tubing by using this homemade pipe notcher. This homemade tube notcher is powered by drill machine. This homemade tube notcher is very powerful, strong and rigid in construction. I hope you will enjoy this making of pipe notcher machine.

  • Would love more ‘how to make’ (dimensions, instructions, etc.) less ‘watch me make,’ but anyone interested could probably reverse engineer it, or any off the shelf notcher. Better than HF for sure.

    • @@8SecSleeper The evidence is that I still have my two eyes and all 10 fingers. I've been around power tools and machinery for the last 30 years. These things don't take prisoners. I've witnessed people loosing eyes and fingers because of stupidity and by ignoring basic safety rules. A safety guard on an angle grinder is there for a reason. Show-offs and cocky lads are not welcome in my crew and are dismissed on the spot without any discussions. BECAUSE, I've to explain to relatives and authorities what, why and when. Does this now answers your question?

  • Good work, but there are 2 things I see that could be improved. Distance between bearings should be increased a bit to make it more stable and distance from the pivot reduced to minimum required. Other than that it's cool. The crown saw was a total wreck after 2 cuts, less speed and pressure recommended on cutting or switch it for an abrasive one. Cheers!

  • Два прохода- коронку приконьчил.. И только под один диаметр трубы..? Которых я в жизни не видел.. мне иногда за день приходится и с поручнями нержавейка 38мм и 50мм и велосипедную раму фэтбайка надо подсобрать..14мм и 18 и 25 бывает.. нужны в этой направляющей регулировки высоты центров под разные толщины труб..

  • First off how did you determine the hole saw was centered on your tube holder and #2 what are you going to do with the notched tube if you don't have a welder, glue or bolt it together?

  • Good idea. Can be much improved. Needs more efficient cooling and rigid clamping. Speed way too fast.

  • Functional. The speed is too high and you burn the cutter. An emulsion cooling system would be ideal. That cutter is burnt after 2 cuts...

  • The construction seems to use a lot of unnecessary drilling and tapping. 90 percent of those screws could be eliminated by tacking parts together.

  • Not so simple build! Can’t get lathe machine, hand tap and dies set, lack instructions for centering pipe clamps and centering drill! I will just stick to notching template and band saw
