The thing that separates the two is that Sonicfox has experience in Tournaments compared to Ninjakilla who just started. ngl Ninjakilla’s face of defeat had shown how much he really wanted his first win in a tournament with Sonicfox much respect Ninjakilla

What I admire the most about sonic, is the way he Masters new characters so quickly and is still able to win tournaments against players like ninjakilla.That speak volumes about his talent.
Sonic is the fastest at picking up new characters and learning the mechanics of a game. That’s a big part of his success. Underutilized characters or new characters as long as they’re high tier. Anything that people are unfamiliar with or not fully prepared for. I don’t knock the hustle, NRS creates this by not releasing all of the characters at once so the quickest learner is rewarded rather than the master who is fundamentally more sound. It’s painful to watch flawless blocks go for only 66 damage because of how difficult they are to execute. Flawless blocks should not be able to be broken out of in my opinion.

I’m not going to blatantly call your comment incorrect however I’m going to insinuate it. 21:15 is the result of Game 3. That isn’t stress, that’s someone trying to comprehend what just transpired. NK had a 70%+ life lead in rounds 1 & 2 of Game 3 and still lost both rounds. 21:15 is immediately following Game 3. Not stress, that’s a brain trying to compute wtf just happened. He composed himself very well in Game 4 making it extremely competitive, 1 touch away from winning round 1 & 2. He could’ve easily got washed in Game 4 like countless others have once Sonic has momentum but he didn’t, he kept his head in the game and made Sonic earn the victory.
Sonicfox is really hr GOAT. They surprise time and time again. Ninjakilla has an incredible future as well with his talent. Hope to see more battles between these two in the future.

The fact that NK won Winners Finals should not be understated and was the biggest accomplishment in Final Kombat. IF NRS doesn’t touch Joker I guarantee Sonic never leaves Joker unless Spawn or another new character is more broken than Joker and also it would basically guarantee that only NK would have any chance for victory.
I am not taking away anything from nk he was excellent.. What I am saying is sonic can adjust his game like no other.. In winner finals when nk switched too lui kang he never won around.. So he knew if he played like that in grand finales he would lose... So it was a set too see what works and what not..! So he could adjust it in grandfinales..! I mean no disrespect too nk cuz he was amazing..! As for joker and sonic..! That's what's amazing about SonicFox, you defeat them and they learn how to adjust to you when they fight out of the loser brackets. Ninja is strong though, he defeated both SonicFox and Dragon. Sending them both to losers, only problem with that is he fought SonicFox and that defeat was all the information SonicFox need. During the Finals. SonixFox said something about Ninja being aggressive and that was their downfall. Ninja couldn't adjust to defeating SonicFox for a 2nd time.

It's been said before: if you beat SF, you've just showed him how he should beat you. NK is no exception.
Not against Ninjakilla mirror. If Ninjakilla would've picked up Joker, Sonic would've nothing to do against him just how he lost using Jacqui, Dvorah, Jax and kollector. Whatever character Sonic uses to win like Jacqui and Johnny then Ninjakilla picks it up and destroys Sonic. That's why Sonic has never won a single tournament using a low tier character. He tried with kollector, Dvorah and couldn't win.

I have said it before and I will say it again: SonicFox has the ability of a Champion to go into that hyperfocus mode AND the resilience that Champions have where whatever happened before doesn't matter in terms of being in a "slump" or not having the "hot hand." What matters is learning from where one went wrong before and focusing on what is needed right NOW. Additionally, I respect that they play hard and obviously they want to win. I think that yes, they obviously has talent. But that kind of dominance that they have shown time and again comes with hours upon hours of practice, refinement, and more practice. Last part: they have the timing of the Champion. This is true across all sports - Champions have both the gift and have honed the talent of knowing when they need to take it to "another level." To me, it is somewhere past the hyperfocus that I have mentioned before because we also see just the brilliance of their work. All in all, SonicFox continues to be a fantastic player and NinjaKilla did well. will have his time in the sun - probably soon. But for now, SonicFox is still SonicFox.

@@deantebritton if you’ve played competitively, when you see someone in a shaky place race out with no loss in confidence it’s such a rarity you can’t train for it... fatigue management and never throwing away a round is why Sonic is beyond words in how well he delivers. He just doesn’t get tired and never quits
He’s been in that situation so many hundreds of times, you don’t panic once you’re used to it, and when it feels normal, you just do the things it takes to win or at least finish strong. I feel for ninja though, he looked broken... over a dang game too, which makes it worse.

That's some seriously high level play. Some of the reads are bonkers. How in the hell does Ninja know when to block high/low. Seemed to read every mix up correct. Kudos to sonic. The absolute Goat.
Because NK is a cyborg. Nobody comes even remotely close to his execution. No one. Once every character has finally been released and balanced which will likely be 2 entire years since MK11’s initial release it’s VERY likely that NK separates himself from the rest of the competition as he did in MKX. The writing is on the wall but apologists and intolerant haters struggle mightily to come to terms with it just as they did in MKX. The ignorance showcased by these people is nothing short of baffling.

Exactly but they likely will and they’ll use the same excuses they did with MKX that no one plays it anymore. The way that NRS staggers their games for two years to fully release every character and balance patch is Taylor Made for Sonic and just a terrible structure in general. He learns the characters quicker than anyone so every NRS game is basically a cash grab for him until they release the next one because it takes them 2 years to fully release each game. If MK1 sticks around like Tekken for the long haul I don’t see anyone consistently beating NK.

The difference between sonic and other players is that he really LOVES fighting games.. I was once in his stream and when he was talking about the violence and krushing blows in mk.. I could really feel the excitement in his voice and you can tell hes having fun in these intense tournaments

Everyone is all business serious when starting matches, Sonic Fox is all smiles and having fun.
Sonic’s ability to adjust and adapt under pressure is just nuts. Ninja Killer flawless block punishes better than almost anybody else in the game and did it to Sonic multiple times, and Sonic just took it in stride. Most people probably would have crumbled and let NK dictate the game from fear, but Sonic just amped up the pressure and challenged every N.K. throw tech with another dash and throw.
Cant wait to see their rematch in MK 1
Honestly I love this game so much so much nostalgia I loved mk1 costumes way more than mk2 I kno part 9 had em but I wish they would remaster the O.G stages from part 1 it would be insane

Kobra I love that character his story his personality, his mentality, his construction I really want to see him again I hope they give Kobra a good opportunity because really that character has a lot, a lot of potential to exploit and offer to the mk universe Personally, I would give him a design the same as Chuck Norris but more blond and bearded with tanned skin, hairy chest and delinquent tattoos on his arms and neck. His Kobra Kai karate uniform and his street fighter shoes left him but I would put him on motorcycle wantes and even put on boots and a motorcycle vest and would make him addicted to violence and fights with outbursts of rage. And it would make him the sworn rival and enemy of Striker and Erron Black

People are really saying THIS has worse gameplay than MK1?! MK11 is far more entertaining and have much more variety than MK1's combat. MK1 in a nutshell: Block until opponent's kombo end -> punish -> loop your single combo -> repeat. BOOOOORING
