Lyon ils sont fait un bon match contre Brest
Ça fait du bien de renouer avec la victoire, j espère franchement que ce match va relancer Caqueret qui etait devenu hyper nul, et c est tant mieux. Maintenant, vivement le retour de Boateng, car Diomande ça ne va pas du tout, et puis avec Boateng, le 2ème but Brestois ne serait jamais rentré.
@Donau KinderPas besoin d être aussi désagreable. C est soit ça, soit Diomande dont Pavard ou Kounde sont largement moins mauvais, au choix, et puis Boateng a cette qualite de têtes nottament sur le plan défensif dont c est le gros point faible de Lukeba. Donc oui, Boateng apporte bien plus que Diomande. Ps: Ça s ecrit Daunaukinder la chanson de Rammstein, merci d enlever l espace sur ton pseudo, merci. Football needs changes! You guys have my permission to put this in a book or an article: Forty million people in a country is the minimum to have a football league with a good level of competitiveness. Less than that it is very difficult to develop the game with quality. Countries that have the best leagues and also have strong national teams are those that have at least something like 40 million inhabitants. This happens because, with so many people, it is easier to find talent. However, not only does a football nation live with a large population. If that were the case, countries in Asia and Africa would have very strong and successful national teams and leagues. In fact, it is necessary to combine population, high HDI and political stability - in addition to having football as the main sport in the country, and, therefore, with more private investment.
Explaining: a country with 40 million people, we have to consider that half are women. So there are 20,000,000 men left. Of this amount, it is necessary to eliminate the elderly, the sick, adults over 36 years old, young people under 17 years old (some will enter the clubs academies) and people without stature for the game. Therefore, we will randomly (or arbitrarily) remove 40% of this total, as a way to eliminate these categories. In this way, there are 12,000,000 men available for the game. If we consider that a squad has an average of 30 players, we divide 12,000,000 by 30 and arrive at 400,000 possible teams. Considering divisions with 20 clubs, we would thus have 20,000 divisions. But there needs to be fans. After all, fans mean money. Considering, also, that certain teams gather more fans, this division is not equal. In a small country there are usually two big ones, with more fans, and three medium ones, as the next most popular ones. Therefore, let's consider, for a small country, two divisions with 16 clubs (32). Each club with 30 players (960 total). Therefore, from the total population of 40,000,000 people we subtract 960 and that leaves 39,999,040 potential fans. Dividing 39,999,040 by 32 we arrive at a potential 1,249,970 fans for each team. Let's say that the two biggest teams add up to 50% of fans (19,999,500), that would leave 19,999,540 potential fans to be divided among the remaining 30, that is, 666,651 for each. Let's consider that the three medium ones add up to a total of 15% of that remainder (99,990), leaving 566,661 potential fans to be divided among the remaining 27, that is, 20,987 for each. To function well, this country would've to have a football culture - in order not to be handicapped by low population compared to larger countries. (It's important to support local clubs. Don't be a glory hunter.)
The teams with the biggest fanbase need to help the smaller ones financially through a good division of the money from TV and even tickets - it doesn't have to be 50/50 -, even when playing at home and counting on a part of the money that comes from their own fans ; as well as league sponsorship(s). When the big ones go to play in the smaller stadiums of the smaller teams, they could leave the income entirely with the local teams, or, just take 10% if the stadium reaches a certain number of fans. However, as there would not always be the same amount of public in the stadiums, the ideal would be, perhaps, to create a support fund for minors with the sum of the quotas of the visitors and divide them equally, or, then, according to some kind of ranking. Not because they are kind and charitable, but because championships are not played with 2 or 3 clubs. There needs to be games with a good level of competitiveness, and, consequently, a minimally attractive league. Even so that they can be prepared to face teams from other countries in international competitions.
The national league would have 16 teams, all against all, home and away, 30 games. The first 3 would qualify for the continental competitions - along with the national cup champion -, and the last 2 would be relegated. The second division would have the same format, however, the top 2 would be directly promoted; the 3rd, 4th and 5th would play a playoff against the third last from the first division to define the third place. That way there are more objectives available in the second division. And since there would be no relegation, a "punishment zone" or "debt zone" could be created, according to which the last two would be punished with 6 points less in the following season - a punishment that would not increase with defeats -, as a way to shake the bottom. The national cup would be with 8 groups of 4, home and away, ranking the first 2 of each group. Then, round of 16, quarterfinals, semifinals and final (round trip in all phases).
From 16 to 32 teams, depending on the size of the population, is the ideal amount for a country. Each team representing a state/county/department/province. There doesn't necessarily have to be a team in each. A few may merge, having one or two teams representing the region. With this organization, there are fewer teams and more fans available, which bring in more revenue, which generates more investment and, therefore, more quality and competitiveness. That's how American leagues work. However, the ideal for nations with low population would be to seek some diplomatic-sporting agreement and join with a neighboring country, so that the teams face greater competitiveness, but maintaining their national teams - 4 teams (120 players) in the national territory is enough to make players available for selection (26 players).
