haha I know, it doesn't quite fit... a lighter was just way better cinematically than a phone light. Thank you I gave it my best shot!

I think, it's not that strange. Probably she didn't take the lighter to the bathrom on purpose and it was just still in her pocket. The phone could be in her jacket... or she doesen't have one. The really strange thing about this scene is her sleeves, which are suddenly rolled up (2:33) and then suddenly they are back down (2:39) and her hair, that she pushed behind the ears, but in the next shot it's like it was before (also 2:39) -- until 2:45 where it's pushed back again...

@@horsthinterwaldler lol all very true, with water splashing she wanted her sleeves rolled up, and honestly 99 percent of people don't notice, same thing with the hair, it was filmed over 4 nights.

@@isaacrasmussen1637 I honestly think these small mistakes are unavoidable and of course you're right: almost no one will notice it and it doesen't do any damage to the film at all. I've got the... talent (?)... to notice them often at first sight (in this case the sleeves for example -- the hair needed a second look). And for some weird reason I love those mistakes.

Nothing extraordinary, but still pretty good! The only thing I don't like is the music, because it's like this annoying friend sitting next to you, shouting: "HOLY...! DID YOU SEE THAT? OH MAN, THAT'S CREEPY!!!!!! DID YOU SEE THAT?????????? Especially at 2:37. But apart from that, the film is really not bad.

I see what you mean, i think the music is fine though, screeching and annoying/unnerving sounds are what convey the feelings of anxiety and gut our heart pumping. i also liked this because it was quite sudden of a db rise. Also the tracks worked great with the blood drip part.

@@isaacrasmussen1637 Yeah, I see your point too, and many people seem to like that. Personally, I rather like more subtle music in horror films as long as there isn't literally hell going on. Just a matter of taste, I think.

haha, so this was originally for a school project and this was our last day filming, the older girl is the younger girls sister and had a curfew of 10 pm. We only had one take to get that last shot and the car lights stayed on from when the little girl got in. would have loved to redo it but didn't have time... what a shame.
