I really like the new format! Just a quick suggestion, since the second and third rounds are similar, I think the second round should have the two brawlers start on opposite sides and walk towards each other, since distance is really important when it comes to throwers and tanks. It might make the tests a bit more accurate without having player skill affect anything. It’s just an idea, the new system is a big improvement anyways! :)
Appreciate the suggestion, but on new brawlers coming into the game I can't do that because I'm controlling two devices at the same time. I'm not that coordinated! haha.

We need actual 1v1s that will happen in-game , for example surge wont tp on primo's face he will tp away than dominate Or edgar can circle around primo to dodge many of his projectiles I know its time consuming , but could you do some complex interactions that can actually happen in the game?

Meta means something that is top tier in a certain time until it is powercrept nerfed or removed
Idk i just feel like I wouldn't really get close to a primo or just let his gadget hit me without trying to dodge.
Yeah, no offense to Lex or anything but this video just showcases Primos DPS in the most unlikely scenario. No one is going to stand right in front of his fists - especially any brawlers with greater range. So to say he wins 1v1 vs. Colt is ridiculous. That said, Primo, Darryl, & Bull are still my favorite brawlers when playing Brawl Ball. They can handle themselves there, but not a real 1v1.
This did not age well primo is bassically like this in actual 1 v1 s
El Primo is truly valuable if he gets near the enemy. Truly dominant. A buff in his range, speed, or a gadget/star power that makes it easier for him to get near to enemies would make him OP, or at least in the meta.
I think making the movement speed go from "fast" to "very fast" would help him, basically just the same buff that Bibi got. Also, I think the projectiles (fists) should be a little wider, when the other person is moving Primo only connects 2 or 3 of the 4 fists, wider fists would help deal that extra bit of damage to fast enemies

Man what happened with stu? Stu wasn't played properly. Neither was a lot of brawlers but stu's was pretty basic. Plus you dodged a lot of enemy super's with primo's jump and didnt dodge for some brawlers- Why? A lot of the brawlers didn't use their gadgets too like surge.
If you really wanted to get tryhard in these matchups, primo wouldn’t had lost any single one, especially that close, maybe emz could have a chance but we would need to see

@@laksharora6889 ppl only use him to team,way before the El Primo remodel,i pushed El Primo from rank 1 to 20 in solo showdown. It is descent but now with the new brawlers it is impossible. I never team with El Primo because it is like a reputation for me as a El Primo player. Now he is rank 25 and the rank 1 to 20 push was one of the only times i played solo showdown.
Brother you should do this with power 1 vs 1 otherwise brawler can use its gadget and kill the other. Or shoot 1 by 1.
in friendly matches everyone is power 10 so it's not doable. thanks for the suggestion though.

i don't really use primo but when i do use him for quests, he's really fun to play. i guess he's a strong brawler if you know how to play him but he gets overshadowed by the meta
As a primo main, I completely agree, he actually has potencial and can beat the meta brawlers and comps in less than a minute, but the amount of time I had to spend to make him work is just hilarious

I think to buff primo, they should increase his main attack damage from 504(one projectile) to 550 and to increase his movement speed from fast to very fast and maybe a small range increase of 1.5 tiles. If it becomes too OP then they can always nerf his health a bit, but I think this will be good enough

Also increasing his range a bit would definitely get him in top 15 and also make him one of the best tanks. I think the damge is fine the way it is

Even though primo won most of these, I don’t think this would translate into the real game, for example, with a brawler like piper, because she would keep her distance from him to get the advantage ( that’s why primo is not too good rn)

Here's my feedback: Make both the brawlers stand 10 tiles apart and both of them have to run towards each other until they get their opponent inside their range. Reason: making use of their range would help show the true potential of certain bralwers like piper or byron. Standing close to each other gives an unfair advantage to F tier bralwers like primo and make them look like they are S tier. This will also prevent brawlers like bull from always coming in first place ;)

I’ve been waiting for this for so long
I definitely like this way of one vs one more, but the other one was good too, so lex, if time happens to be something you don't have a lot of (at least not for the one vs one video), the old way is cool too! The video will be amazing no matter what! Edit: why this? Because this simulates real life 1vs1s more. First match is a low trophy game where you don't have anything yet. Second is like a rank 13 to 20 game where gadgets will come around and play a part of the 1v1 and finally round 3 is like a real fight on 500+ trophies. Lex, I think round 3 is most interesting to watch. I think it would do good to show that part too.

Great video. El Primo gets no love in best brawlers tier list, he always comes in last or second to last. It was cool of you to dedicate a 1v1 every brawler video to El Primo. My only suggestion for a future 1v1 every brawler video would be to simulate a real gameplay situation. What I mean is that it is very unrealistic that you face a 1v1 in showdown and it’s just two brawlers. Unless both brawlers camped in a bush the whole showdown match, and the other 8 brawlers somehow killed each other, it is very unlikely you will face someone else 1v1 in showdown. What I would suggest is to just add a third brawler to your video 1v1, but that brawlers sole purpose is so that we see the aftermath of the 1v1. A perfect example would be El Primo vs Byron, El Primo destroyed Byron, but then what. Byrons attack stacks, what is the aftermath of the 1v1 battle. By just adding a third brawler to spectate in match your 1v1, you would make your 1v1s like actual gameplay.

Lex for 50 brawlers if all 2nd gadgets are out you should do a tournament 1v1 with a bracket system. I know its a lot of work but that way we could see a lot of interactions in one video
I love this new format, but would love it more if you would do it fairly. I appreciate your work, and know its hard, but please try to think a little bit more before every 1v1. For example, 1. 8 bit could have teleporter back. 2. Brock could have jumped out of range. 3. Penny can easily take out primo using blasting gadget and last blast star power. 4. Tick could have used his super. There's many more...😵

I like this format. Cutting out uninteresting interactions is very helpful, in my opinion.
I think this format is great, MAYBE add the list of win and losses with HP deficits for future videos of the new brawlers released (but I do see the scoring of wins and losses is already shown above the fights)
