Apparently, one of the best up until now in 2022 for headsets that cost less than $200. They scored high on every current list so I picked them up. For me, the cushion shape is perfect. I've tried the Razer Blackshark V2 Pro wireless, which is an amazing headset, but the pads cause a lot of pain on my ears with their shape lacking ergonomics. I got the Delta S as a replacement for the Corsair Void RGB Elite due to the Void's very low mic volume. So low that nobody could hear me in game, so I had to always use Discord, even then sometimes I couldn't be heard.

Hello everyone. The ASUS ROG Delta WILL have terrible sound quality UNLESS you update the headset's firmware. Please thumbs up to help everyone that has this headset.

Do you know the solution for surround issues? Left/right sounds almost identical to rear left/right. My old tritton ax pro works much better although it is connected with analogs. I need to solve this or i just ended up with overpriced stereoheadset
What if you use it on a ps4
after a month of fiddling around, the sounds are awesome BUT if you need surround, these arent the ones for that job. I dare to say anything with labeled 5.1 has better surround although quality might not be as good
@@NorthernmostKiller If you don't mind me asking, would you recommend this or HyperX Cloud Alpha S? You might not have the latter but still, is it worth recommending in terms of comfort, sound quality, surround sound, build, and overall features?

@inusha nishen do not update on the latest sowftare in armory crate, they turn of the rgb light on the left side and the right side is just red breathing ...

I don't know if she said it here, but on their website they say this works for Xbox One. This is not true. I've tried it with my Xbox and it doesn't The ASUS website only says PC, PS4, MAC, mobile phones, and Switch. So does the headset's box. :)

I know that this off topic but if you want a very large screen why not use the white wall and go with a Philips Screeneo Short Throw projector which can be right up against the wall that will be used as a screen.
Doesn't projectors have terrible latency issue for gaming?

Two totally different products, but Delta Core being a Hi-Res headset is probably pretty decent as well

No, the cable (which is type c) is not detachable. There is an extra smaller type c to regular usb cable.

I feel like the highs in the audio of this video are very squeaky. It was much better with the headset mic. recording. Maybe you could adjust that for future reviews. Also who cares about what kind of plastic is used in the packaging. Other than this, great review.

whats the best gaming wireless headset today? i thought this delta is wireless... looking to replace my steelseries h wireless.
If you notice most gamers or youtubers use USB headsets because wireless still have issues. We just sent our wireless Logitech G933 wireless headphones back as they just randomly disconnect and to be honest you have the cable plugged in more than you do using the wireless as the batteries dont last long. They say 3 hours, then half it basically. For heavy gamers its USB connection. Music and things like general use you could go wireless. Also a big issue now with wireless you cannot get spare batteries sent in the mail in most countries now. So when the batteries die well throw away the headset.
@@SDMittens yeah the reason i threw away my steel series h wireless headset is because the 2 batteries went awol. i dont usually game that hard around 1-2hrs max. any recommendations? im looking towards the senheiser's
@@rtcivic I've gone away from wireless even gone back to USB mouse as a lot of games you can notice the mouse latency from a wireless. I've just ordered the ASUS Centurian headset but it's a bit pricey. Can't recommend a wireless headset, just do your research.

I just bought these things and the right LED on the earcup went out there is a software or firmware update that's supposed to fix this issue but it did not fix it for me I would avoid these earphones because it appears this is a common issue that Aces has not bothered to fix

You should get it!* And the mic quality is soo damn good too like pretty much everything is amazing on this headset to be honest!

I got it the other day. It comes with an adaptor and should work fine. I use mine on the ps4 :)

After buying this Headset... I'm thinking about to send them back. My ears hurts after 2 hours and my ears don't really fit in. What I really like about this headset is the high quality and the microphone. When I would send them back, I would buy myselfe a razer kraken tournament edition. It's soooo much more comfortable. 🙈

no i don't want this, today it came, i own shn599(nice ss),astroa40 pro(hardphukinBass), audeze isin10(clear crisp highs). ROG delta usb c , these are the worst headsets, while the sound is ok, armouryII is bad, hidden audio drivers which require each time to accept for it to acces, alot of bugs, in bfv every 5-10 minutes, it goes off for 2-3 seconds. i own 17iRHg legion with datmos, latest model with 32gbRam,9750h,2060rtx,2tbssd, i require a headset with USB C, seems they can't provide nothing besides medium/crisp/soft quality sound and alot of bugs. for the rest get Anker usb-c adapter for lightning(audeze).

Pro: -Absolutely stunning design -Very good sound quality -very premium material Con: - Because of the big neodymium magnets the whole thing is so heavy my nect started to hurt after just 2-3 hours of music,movie,gaming. - The D shaped ear pads by design are uncomfortable for almost everyone. -The D shaped ear pads are too soft while the clamping force is a bit strong resulting in both PU leather and fabric ear pads to be compressed so much that your ear starts to hurt after 30 minutes,and Im not only talking about your head, but your ear that is touching the center cover plastic. Thats how soft the ear pads are and strong the clamping force is. Especially if you can't find the right position for the D shape on your head. Horrible design this D shape... Summarization: Don't buy it. This is just a designer headphone, but its very uncompfortable for most people. You have to be like a 12yo child with a very small head for this not to hurt your ear. Anyways I sold mine and bought a HyperX Cloud II. In short, I owned a LOT of headphones,headsets but this HyperX headset is by FAR the best!
i dont own the headphones but from what you describe... you are pointing out the best features as soft material good clamping... the shape being too small... that idk but maybe your ears are bigguer than average? but like clamping force is good so they dont fall and soft material aswell, both tend to wear out with time in all headphones... so in my opinion you only telling good things (my ears are small so even the bad thing for me isnt bad lel)
