~ Last year's 90th Anniversary, the upcoming 100th anniversary 2033
~ Significant achievements of the Association.
~ We would like to thank many on the council for the years and tireless efforts in making the Association's Coat of Arms. Most especially to John Macfall for the idea and then to countless others who worked tirelessly on this project.
~ As David states, we are very lucky to have many talented volunteers/people on this council who work very hard.
~ David's family roots in Inverness and what sparked his interest to serve for many years on the Council.
~ A duel between a McIntosh and a signer of the U.S Constitution!
On May 16, 1777, British-born Georgia Patriot and signer of the Declaration of Independence Button Gwinnett received a bullet wound in a duel with his political rival, Georgia city Whig Lachlan McIntosh. Three days later, Gwinnett died as a result of the gangrenous wound. McIntosh was also shot in the duel, but the wound was not fatal.
