Thank you for another great video I was a dairy farmer I love farming I might be to old now but my heart will always be farming nice to see how different you milk and to watch it
great video tom your cows are well trained they walk up the passage without stopping to eat the first feeder of ration they have very good table manners keep up the good work 👍
Good man Tom, all you need is two more units and an auger from your bin into cashman feeders plus the automatic teat sprayer. Not a huge investment and quite adequate for 80 cows. That's what I'm milking and it takes one and a half hours at my ease 😌.
And keep your jars, much handier than a dump bucket
How do you fine the cash man’s gerry? A lot of people happy with them
@@theirishfarmer we have cashmans, for our 10 unit. Brilliant auger, but sometimes the cows catch wind of the pulleys and tend to feed themselves twice😂. But we have our ways around that
Thank you for sharing. Always a please to watch your videos.Keep up the good work.
Never done milking in any sort of scale but hats off to you for the hard work that you enjoy. 👏. I'm quite happy to consume the product and help out 😄. Good work on the vid. Stay safe 🏴
great vid! i have similar set up myself, i have givin up using teat dip, and my scc has never been as low (touch wood), but if urs is low stayt doing what ur doin, keep up the good work!!!!!
Great video. I did milk 75 cows on 8 unit milking palier on our farm. We had 5 dry cows with them. They come in handy with heifers at end. Didn't want them take over a paddock to them self. Sell them of next week 5 dry cows I rather milk cows than drive a tractor. I do some milking for neighbours and people I npw
Can’t remember the last time I milked. Really enjoyed this video. Well done
Great Video, U have got a new sub
Great video Tom 👌
Good work tom I miss milking cows am hoping next year to get back in to dairy if there's some 1 looking for some 1
I notice that you have to stoop down to put on the units, you need to raise the floor where the cows are standing or else you’ll wreck your back
great video greetings from new york
Rats. I thought I was going to be first! Greetings from Canada.
good farm
👍👍
My cows wouldn’t go past the first meal trough if it already had meal in it.
How long does it take you to milk and what times do you milk in the morning and evening love the videos keep up the good work
Hour to milk start at 7:30 am 5:30 pm
What you think Would pure jersey have higher solids than jersey crossed cow's enjoyed watching 👍
Would love a few pure sometime
In fairness to you though - this is pretty damn "high welfare" and transparent compared to some of the absolute atrocities that the animal victims of meat & dairy suffer across the country and the globe as part of these bigger 'operations'.
Hi The Irish Farmer
How is farm supervisor job in Ireland?
Just wondering de last cow was that red paint on her or was it blood
Red paint 😎
Do your thermodurics not go mad when ya don't wash them. If I don't clean them it hits 2 or 3 hundred thousand.
@UCPcbIkay9bfJ93mJCyRTjbg my scc has never been so good, probably down to older cows been milked for calves only. Thermos also better than ever but at the start of the summer I started to skip cleaning them as they looked spotless and the thermos jumped up to 270 and 320 the following test, so started cleaning again and it went back down to 60.
How come u don’t use the feeders In the parlour instead of the bucket
Motors busted and there rotten
??
How come you don't use the dip before you start milking the cows
Don’t really need to really
