For the nuke kills through smokes I actually get it. He went for a lucky spray and got someone. He then waited a few seconds and calculated where a player would be if you crept forward behind the smoke wall. So to me if you had like 20000 hours it makes sense. But for the overpass stuff idk it felt a bit sus

Honestly even if i'm not a fan of Spirit they just played amazing CS. They played like a well-oiled team with no fear of the Final stage and it was beautiful to watch. Nice to see another strong contender for titles.

Donk is just god at the game, that's all it is. There is no way he would able to cheat on the big stage where there is cameras around, when the technical support is there and etc. like come on guys? You just witnessed a complete domination, donk is a master rifler and clearly has good game sense even for his age, I don't believe he is cheating at all because this is LAN and there is no way in hell that would be possible in my opinion, if he was cheating most likely the entire match would have been stopped and they would be disqualifed as the team. Don't forget that Spirit performed like this through the entire tournament and I don't see how Donk would not been caught before they got to Katowice. He is either very skilled player or this is all scripted, but I want to believe this is just raw skill and pure talent.

I have to disagree. Just because they did not use lots of traditional smoke/flash setups does not make it less tactical. Their positioning and teamplay were out of this world. It was so on point it felt like they had a wallhack.
Well CS has always been like this no? If you're good enough you can dominate almost all casual and even hardcore players, at that point you're playing against pros and your individual skills aren't as important or impactful as really great teamwork can be because you're playing against 5 other elite players who are able to punish the smallest mistakes. Several teams have shown how teamwork is the most insane force multiplier. But then there are some players who are so exceptionally good at the game that they are able to overcome the power of teamwork, players who makes plays that normal pros would see as bad plays because it IS bad play unless you've got the skills and insight to make that play work to your favor. If we go back to 1.6 there's guys like neo or f0rest who were able to play at such a high level that 'correct' cs with teamwork etc wasn't enough to stop them. And that's the beauty of the game really! That there are some players who are so exceptionally good that they are able to dominate even when faced against 5 pro players working together. If we take the example of neo, what made him extra special IMO was that he was able to dominate and win against teams consisting of 5 superstar players, even while his own teammates weren't exactly the elite of the elite so to speak (no disrespect to them, they were still great players with uncanny synergy but they just weren't at the level like some of the insane stacked teams f0rest was part of). There's also the fact that a lot of the tactical aspects are so ingrained and well practiced it's difficult to see just how structured they are playing because they do it so flawless and smooth, it's a whole other world than some pubhero dominating in mm.

The accusations around Donk are understandable considering he is able to beat one of the best players to ever play CS. However, imo, he’s just that good at the game. A new breed of CS players overtaking the pro scene. Just got to find a start to counter his play style.
People need to realize he's been playing since he was 4. Most "old school" players probably started playing in early teen years. This means that donk has 8 year experience gap compared to most old pros when they were his age.

It is impossible as nowadays you can’t install or use any program on the LAN computers apart of the one approved by admin. Even your keyboard usb has to be authorised.
