magolor epilogue song? He realised his mistakes the crown come to life by influencing it, darkness/light turn it into a force for good or taint it an remember the pious of heart can twisted morals.
A nice little touch that I like is that when Magalor loses, he screeches “NOOOOOOOOOO”, but when Magalor Soul dies, nothing is said, there is no yell, no roar, no final words, it just flails around and dies.

I like how Magolor's speech at the beginning sounds like he's just telling the story on the fly, like he didn't expect to need to explain it to Kirby and feels kind of awkward doing it.
According to the pause screen on Magolor Soul in the True Arena, that's actually true LOL he wasn't expecting Kirby to just sit there blankly while he explained his machinations

My personal theory was always that Maglor had wanted to be a hero using the crown, but it twisted his heart the second he put it on. The reason I thought this is the fact that Landia became tame once the crown was removed, not hesitating to help Kirby and Co. go after Maglor for a second. The reason the crown didn't mutate Landia when Kirby beat them was that they never actively used the crown's power, so it wasn't as "awake" to do so.
And after that people saying that Kirby made for kids, yeah sure...
And then gets abducted and we never see him until 7 or 9 years we see him again in the deluxe version, idk when the original one came out

The added characterization really helps Magolor here. In the orginal cover he was jsut some guy who tricked Kirby. It wasn't anything personal, you just have to fight him. Now you're dealing with this absolute jerk, using math against a group who at best has half the group able to count without using their fingers (if they had any). An absolute masterpiece, truly your crowning achievement.
Really gave his character some added dimension.

8:50 Never thought about this until now, but looking at the footage, there's an incredible sense of irony in using the double health from Helper Magolor mode to fight Magolor... Dude, I went back to compare this version to your old Magolor covers, and the improvement in your voice acting and sound quality is out of this world! The addition of Fly, Kirby! is very nice to see, I love how you paid tribute to all of RtDL's finale by going the extra mile with the cutscenes, and I still get legit chills from the Kirby's Triumphant Return bit at 10:41. This is such a great commemoration of RtDL DX's release
The extra health and Helper Magolor did help me speed through the game to record the final boss ASAP lmao

Damn, Mago sounds *way* angrier compared to the original. It might just have been to match the music, but I think it's clear how much Juno has improved as an actor and a singer.

“Get CROWNED idiot” Okay but holy crap, the improvement from the old version! Under My Control hits so much harder because of all the anger in his voice, and also the extra emotion in “Crowned” makes him sound truly defeated, sad, and guilty. Also the new scream actually made me jump, but I loved it! Just…a masterpiece! Edit:I can’t believe I forgot about the cutscenes! They were amazing too, you can feel the power he feels in his voice, and it. Just. Goes. Hard.
The lyrics of CROWNED also points to him no longer being the one in control as the master crown has taken over

This is an amazing improvement overall (not even counting the addition of "Another Dimension" which is amazing on it's own), but I personally feel that the "I was a fool to think you a tool for my plan. Now hear my plea, stop me, and return to Dream Land" part was more impactful in the original, as it sounded like he was having to shout through the darkness to cry for help. Also, the "crunch the numbers" bit got a good laugh out of me.

I like Magalor, it’s clear that once he obtains the Master Crown and gets corrupted by it that he is no longer the one in control and that he underestimated the power that the Master Crown had…the power of Dark Matter. These lyrics still hold up today and your singing abilities have grown tremendously Juno. I wasn’t expecting that shriek of a no there but it works much better as Magalor had lost, not only the battle with Kirby but also control of the Master Crown
The corrupting power of the crown was a retcon in Deluxe tho, and even then it only works if one's already bad, Magolor still has the same goals after getting punished for this and he should have known about what the crown would do to him, unless the warnings didn't come before the spell, which is really hard to believe as there is only 3 things we know about the crown & 2 of them are red flags. There is no basis to say that "it's clear" he got corrupted, if anything it's unclear in which parts of what he did & to what degrees it was the crown's doing a little evil push.
@@Eficiente_VSB It seems that the crown’s influence only took place after you beat the shit out of him, in the moment of weakness the crown took control of him.
@@someonenamedsomeone9497 Well, that was stated to be because the crown went out of control from being hit by the Ultra Sword. As in, it can't do that to users otherwise, it would have let Magolor blow up otherwise. The new wording is clear, it gives power as it amps the darkness in the user's heart/their evil, so any amount of power it gives causes this. So we have no idea what it did to Magolor as betraying his friends was on his own, needing to pay for it himself, 'cause one can't pay for a sin they didn't do. I do love 95% of everything done in Deluxe, but damn was that retcon stupid.
I cannot properly express with words all the emotions that this video made me feel man, the excitement I felt as soon as "another dimension" started playing and the grit you gave to magolor's voice this time around made me so pumped throughout the entire thing, how pissed he sounds during "under my control" and the blood curdling scream that follows, the quavering of his voice during "CROWNED" especially as he apologizes near the end was so gut wrenching but perfect I could gush about this for hours but. god this was so fucking good

I love how Magolor is going into this huge schpeel on how he wants to destroy and rule the universe but finds it pertinent to point out that he really did appreciate Kirby's help with repairing the Lor Starcutter.
I absolutely love the new voice Juno gave Magolor, I mean he’s just so casual about taking over the whole universe that honestly I think he’d probably do a decent enough job at it.

It’s cool that you’re celebrating Magolor’s spin-off game in this way, especially since this is a remaster, plus another song entirely. My hype for this song when I saw it’s premiere was justified. Especially with Under My Control and CROWNED. I don’t care what they are called now, those are the titles that I’m using.

There’s so much cool stuff in this compared to the old version. But most notably: 10:22. This version of Magolor’s little lament fells more like a cry of sorrow and genuine remorse rather than desperation and fear. It feels more suitable in my opinion. The old version is still REALLY good if that’s the emotions ur looking for though.
I love this! I listened to the original a lot, and the lyricwriting behind CROWNED in particular always impressed me, so to hear the lyrics remastered like this is all I could’ve ever wanted!

A fun small touch that I don't think was intentional, Magolor's line "Fall to the Starcutter". The Lor Starcutter is rarely referred to as merely the "Starcutter". Magolor introduced it as the "Lor" Starcutter, and he refers to it as the "Lor". Its boss bar says "'Lor' and Magolor", not "'Starcutter' and Magolor". In EX mode, its description says "'Lor' sensed something was amiss, blah blah blah". I doubt it was intentional, but Magolor calling it the "Starcutter" shows that now that he's gotten the Master Crow, it's no longer anything more than an object to him. Doubt it was intentional, the line "Fall to the Starcutter" sounds much cooler than "Fall to the Lor" or "Fall to the Lor Starcutter", but I digress.
That plus the description in the fights imply that the Lor is being forced to fight Kirby, not acting of it's own free will, kinda contributes to that.
Also, it's been said that this foreshadowed Magolor's true nature. A "Starcutter" could be thought of as a vessel that "cuts" across space, between the stars, but facing off against Kirby, whose symbol is stars, hero of Popstar... it takes on a whole new meaning
Funny thing is that this is what it seems like Magolor’s voice should be, but there are actual voice clips in Return To Dream Land where Magolor has little speech clips and he sounds like an animal crossing character. Very high pitched

Holy! This is a big improvement from the previous version! The inclusion of a brand new song changed it up, too! I enjoyed the original, however, this one is just... Miles better, by a longshot! The new line added to Under My Control added a little bit more pizzazz to it! I really do enjoy your Kirby covers! There's just something truly magical about them all! You truly do know how to hit people with the ol' razzle dazzle!
As a Magolor of another dimension, I heartily approve these covers. (I literally got teary eyed and it sent chills down my spine.) The art is stellar (as usual), the lyrics are well though through (as usual), packed with references (as usual), and delivered beautifully. 5 out of 5 Gem Apple rating.
I absolutely *LOVE* the little touch that Magolors voice is almost just your own voice, as it was in the original.
Oh my god 10:14 actually made me tear up a little bit, It's been a while since I listened to the original and it just made it that more nostalgic. Plus, the Dream Land part hit me in the feels!
The voice for Magolor is amazing. The sly, sinister dialogue at the beginning made me scream (excitedly), and the laugh was astonishing... It was fantastic and a huge upgrade from the old version. Another dimension sounded like he had planned the whole thing out from the very beginning. Under my control made him sound angry and "annoyed", and can I just say how the scream scared me (well done by the way). And C-R-O-W-N-E-D. It was tear-jerking how Magolor sounded guilty and heart-broken, also him crying as he is apologising made me sob my heart out. Overall, and Musical Masterpiece. Amazing job Juno. Keep it up!👏👏👏👏

This perfectly encapsulates everything I love about this finale. The music, the character, the sheer threat and climax, and the strange sadness to it all. Amazing job! Also that voice and especially the evil laugh is EXACTLY how I'd imagine Magolor to sound.

I love that not only did you remaster your already fantastic covers for Under My Control and CROWNED, but throwing in Fly! Kirby of the Stars in the beginning was just incredible. Magolor really sounds like a megalomaniac in this cover, really adding to that greedy atmosphere.

Ahhh this is awesome! I'm so impressed with your singing and your voice acting, KLDR is my favorite Kirby game and Magolor is my favorite Kirby villain, so especially after beating Deluxe recently this was a real treat to see~
