  • The difference between this movie and the original is the girls are just meeting and getting the hang of being on a team while in the original they have been friends for years so they work better together. Also the original had more of a fun vibe to it and this one was more serious.

    • Not to mention real interaction of the oposite gender. One had already a boyfriend the other....more like a lover and the third just started during the movie. So it makes it realistic. Not to mention how...Drew(I think Drew was the actress first name) character, Dylan, Kicked 10 mans ass under 5 mins XD. How can that not be a strong woman?

    • Did you miss the opening scene of this version? The 3 are already a well established team. This is demonstrated in the opening scene. The 4th is introduced as a client, then becomes an Angel later.

  • Ella was really in the British force which from my point of view it is the first time one of the characters is not a supermodel or an actress. The complement between the 3 girls is fantastic and the movie is really funny. One can see Christine Stewart acting very relaxed and there is a very nice "chemistry" between the girls. Give the movie a break and enjoy it.

    • If it wasnt Charlies Angels than ok. Point is this movie totally missed the essence of both the 70s show and the original 2 movies which did complimented the series. Also cinematic wise, this movie has no style at all, its just another action movie to push girl boss attitude and while the first 2 were intentionally campy not just narratively and was also experimental as it was the only franchise outside of the Matrix that used bullet time(slowmo effects with multiple surrounding camera's) and both franchises being heavily inspired by Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Please look up clips of the fighting scenes and youll see that the originals had way more flare than in the 2019 movie. Was much more going on with the original 2 as it wasnt just about 'girl boss' feminism, it was aboit 'Charlie's Angels' and new one doesnt want that. It cant be Charlie's because he is a man..

    • What's wrong with wanting to see women in action roles? We get shitty action movies starring men all the time and people don't seem to have a problem with that.

    • It was during a time where dudebros were whining about anything that didn’t star a white dude. Notice how nobody called the 70s TV show or the 2000 movie woke or feminist propaganda or accused it of pushing an agenda when they were unapologetically feminist, saying women can be spies, be action stars, and stop the bad guys too.

With having no other spy girls other than them. Only one Bosley not stealing the spotlight from one of the main angels being an angel, and the Bosley is male. No tattoos, for that never originally used Charlie's Angels. The agency build is just the same size the previous agency buildings from the other Charlie's Angels movies.

Also, people probably didn't like Patrick Stewarts role, for how much as fans they were for his roles as Captain Picard (Star Trek) and Professor X (X Men franchise). Wouldn't you agree? However, Elizabeth Banks put the blame on us men when she's the real blame.

  • i just think maybe, Maybe its because they never used to work with others so they dont consider that much and thnking their job was just monitoring the entrance and just stick to it so on, its for developing a companionship and a teamwork improvement for further, maybe, just a thought (sorry english isnt my first language) anyway this is one of my favorite scene tho, it really hype up and show some "agent" actions, well they maybe not professional enough but it is acceptable for a fresh team. Since its the beginning of a new path in their life, it really shows their character personalities difference and it is cute I really hope there's a sequel for this but considered the hates they received i rather not wanting it, would be better to "fans"(like me) and those pro audience with their critical opinions as we all don't agree with each other. Well, i understand both sides of concept but it is hard and sad to see people disputing( is it the right word) as I rarely find people understand both sides of thinking which i dont think i belongs to any side 😔

    • @@jessikathornell9712 Is that why Jackson poses with one during the opening credits of the show? The iconic silhouette of the Angels includes Jackson holding a rifle and Fawcett with a revolver. Just Google "Charlie's Angels 1976 guns' and you'll find plenty of pictures of the show with each of the Angels guns in hand. The no-guns ever edit was from Drew Barrymore for the 2000's films because she produced them and she was very much anti-guns. So only the bad guys used them.
