Living with a Nepali family In Pokhara | Van Life Nepal | The Hippie Trail #65
After two weeks in Pokhara, it was almost time to leave, except that Holi was just around the corner!
Not really looking forward to this colourful festival, we decided to postpone our departure for a few days and hide out until the festivities were over.
Enter... AJ and Archa, a lovely Nepalese couple who kindly offered us their driveway, their home and more!
Thanks to them, we managed to add a few more fantastic days to our stay in Pokhara, including a cosy evening with them at Lakeside, a hike to the Peace Pagoda and Pumdikot, as well as the Fewa Falls and Gupteswar Gupha Cave.
In short, an unexpected and incredible ending in Pokhara!
Enjoy this one and... be kind, always!

Who are we?
We’re An and Yves, a Belgian couple who share a passion for travel en adventure.
Over the years we took a couple of gap years on different occasions and right now we're travelling the hippie trail, which started on January 1 2023!
As said this is not our first travel experience but three years ago we started sharing our stories on KZhead and Instagram. There has to be a first time for everything!
Our goal is to inspire you to follow your passion (big or small) and to see and experience the world with your own eyes.
By sharing our stories we hope we can inspire one another on their own journeys.

Lived in Nepal for a year in 1994. Did a 10 days motorcycle trip in Ladakh and Thailand last year. Hope to visit Pokhara this year. Subscribed.
You should! Although it has changed tremendously, it's still worth a few days of your time! Thank you for subscribing!
Wel Come n enjoy,, beautiful everything,,god bless you dear all,,🍀🍀
Thank you so much 😊
No way that cave is the longest. There are caves that are over 10km in length in Nepal.
It's often advertised as longest, but after visiting thus statement is hard to believe. Hence we said "one of the longest" 😉
Good to see that you are promoting Van life in Nepal. Perhaps, one day I could return to Nepal and open a camp site with all the facilities. All the best guys!
This would be a great project!
Interesting video as usual. We ended up paying someone to show us the way to the Peace Pagoda as we got lost back in 2000! I remember this guy virtually running up the hills and we were struggling to keep up even though we were in our 20s. Those caves looked amazing!
These were the days, pre Google Maps era! Nowadays, travel has changed so much because of that 'smart' phone in our pocket!
❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for watching 🙏!
It's not Devi"s Fall, The tourist Mr David fall and has disappeared so that the people calls it David Fall. Ultimately is has known as a David fall.
Indeed, this waterfall is named after Mr David who disappeared here, but over the years the name has been bastardised to Devi's Falls.
You guys are amazing.. and your contact is inspiring 💗 love you guys By the way how long you guys are staying in nepal

Why only Kathmandu and pokhara. Do visit other places also.
We did visit other places (see previous vlogs and the two upcoming ones) but unfortunately our options are limited considering we drive a van on Nepali roads.
