Seriously don’t understand the constant talk about WR….. we have a first team all pro, top five receiving TE in the league, potential breakout WR candidate in Jamo, and then DPJ and Kalif. Kalif is slept on imo. W/O mentioning Greene and udfa

I’ve been preaching this! I don’t get it! Jamo barely even gets a target but he’s a GREAT distraction and downfield blocker, LaPorta is almost always open, Raymond is great in the slot or on go routes… I don’t get it. DPJ is a 4th/5th option lol what are we talking about?
That sounds like we need depth to me...if we're in a position to get it. We know Laporta is a tank. But he can get hurt badly enough, he can't tough it out. I want another guy I trust in the NFC championship to catch the ball to win. Right now that's only Laporta and St Brown let's be honest. I want Jamo to be the number 2 slash speedster. Looks like that'll be the case. But he still needs to show us more. And if he doesn't take that step up. Then we can use another threat at the receiver we can trust. Meaning they're correct basically.
Brad holmes said back when he drafted LaPorta! That when Sam really shined was when detached from the line so expect to see LaPorta playing more wr this year

I think we see him get a lot more crossers with St this year. Get him the ball quickly and let him fly! 5, 6 yard catch can turn into a house call when he gets the ball in his hands every time.
Next year after hopefully being serious contenders for the superbowl, imagine the Lions going into the draft building up that D-line and LB room more with the offseason signings focused on WR. Just a quick thought but I love how this team is built.

I think them not signing a free agent is kind of a move to make Goff look to jamo more. There were plenty of times he was wide open last year and Goff looked to Reynolds instead. Gotta get the ball into his hands more often he's too fast to not touch it 7 to 10 times a game

Yeah I heard DPJ has changed his physique, looking more like D.K Metcalf these days. I think this being his first real season with the lions and him looking like he's motivated to take over, I wouldn't be surprised if he broke out this year.

We're set a WR, because we are a run 1st team. You have ARSB, LaPorta (goff loves passing to TE) jamo, Dpj, and Raymond. Then RB out the backfield
LaPorta is really the first tight end he’s had in his career.

We don't need more wideouts, would it hurt ? No, but we have a top 5 tightend core its not like our wr core has to be stacked also, the line is improved as well offense is good for next year.

Man, ya'll don't realize yet that Holmes got who he wants. He's not wasting picks and he drafted Antoine Green for a reason. I saw flashes from this dude and he can't help where he got drafted. He should've went higher then we wouldn't be having this conversation. Isaiah Williams should've got drafted but he didn't and I believe the Lions got a plan for him also Jamo St. Brown DPJ Green Lif Williams..I believe this the core right here

Because you don’t know the names, they lack depth? This lets me know how little people attention. Go look at the rams roster when Goff took them to the Bowl. It wasn’t a lot of household names on that squad. This team is built the same way with a bunch of guys who have to make names for themselves versus already being known.
DE was the biggest need an I'm tired of people ignoring that fact. If the line doesn't get home at a higher rate, this revamped secondary will get torched too.
