7744 Police Headquarters is a City Police set released in 2008. It includes 7 Minifigures, 1 Police Dog, a Police Car, a Police MC and a Prisoner Transport. The police station features 2 jail cells, 2 garages for cars, an interview room, a computer and a watchtower.
History of Lego City:
City is the thematic title under which most Town-related System sets were released from 2005 and onward. There are numerous sets that are associated with Construction, Police, Fire, Emergency, Train, Airport, Transportation, Cargo, Traffic, Coast Guard, Farm, Great Vehicles, Mining, and Space. European catalogs featured another theme called City in the years 1999 to 2000, which was referred to as City Center in American catalogs.

  • City has changed a lot; mostly for the better since 2008. This set is still better than current police stations. It’s absolutely huge. 1.5 full baseplates, multilevels.... so much fun

  • God, I remember getting this exact set for my birthday in 2009. Such a great and amazing old set. Little story, I had to move some years down the line I believe in 2013, so all the legos I had were completely disassembled and scattered around moving boxes so I just said "to hell with it" and never rebuilt them since I didn't want to spend hours upon hours checking boxes for each little part. Miss it a ton :/

  • I remember buildings this when I was like 8 or 9 Christmas Day spent all day on it finished it then picked it up to show my parents downstairs and just accidentally dropped it down the stairs a very heartbreaking moment in my life.

    • @@CalCon04 The things the good police sets have in common, were the minifigs. I really wish they return this style one day and actually make good police sets and have the black police uniforms and the crooks with the 50380 torso. They did return the latter but it didn't look right,

  • So much nostalgia I didn’t have this set but I had the 2007 fire station but yeah used to watch all these videos LEGO city fire and police were great from 2006-2014 those were the best city sets ever. So much nostalgia maybe the exception is the 2016 fire station but only the station everything else wasn’t great
