He added himself to a situation when he wasn't needed there starting all of this plus, when belly got more "attractive" or whatever is when he truly came back like there's a lot of things that are a red flag about him but people are blinded by the cute romantic scenes

This is exactly how I feel. At first I was team all the way, but this season has definitely changed my mind.
It’s so cool to see how one character can have so many connections and chemistry with more than one love interest. And you can see how different each one is and love them in their own way. Then there’s a cut and she’s home with Taylor. Based on the things they said in the car and no one came to interrupt them I think it happened. But I could be wrong.

People misunderstood Conrad's character so much . I mean his relationship ended with his girlfriend, he is dealing with daddy issues lately and the fact that his mother is dying , I mean seriously how can he be with belly and pretend that everything's okay when it's not. And we saw how everybody got broke after knowing About the cancer. At that time even Jeremiah didn't bother about belly , the dance , nothing. he was just so broke after finding out about his mother. He just went to talk to his brother. he didn't even listen to belly he just said "we have to talk right now, it's important..it's about Mom". Also I agree that he was so hard on belly but he did it because he is dealing with all this alone. If I were in his shoes i would have felt the same .
