Fishing from shore with a new $35 Walmart Saltwater Fishing Tackle Box.. it looks LOADED! Is it any good? Can we catch some fish with this thing? We head out to go saltwater fishing at the beach in north Florida with a mission - catch whatever bites! What kind of fish would be around the beach this time of year? I did not expect for this to happen..
Again, I want to thank each and every one of you for the support! At the time of this upload we just passed 564,000 I'm having so much fun making these videos, lets keep this rolling!

  • I don’t know if anyone else has said, but there is a trick for eels. Lower them back into the water and they will relax and straighten back out. Then you can lift them slowly and pop the hook out.

  • Amazingly, That eel you caught is possibly a European eel that is traveling to spawn. They usually live in the UK and around Europe in freshwater, But travel to the Sargasso sea to spawn. Then the tiny baby eels spend a few years swimming back. over 6500km. Look it up, It's really cool .

    @jkasaunder228@jkasaunder2288 ай бұрын
    • Youre right! Its an European Eel that is on his way to the sargasso sea, its already pretty emaciated. But its weird that the eel took the bait because eels like this dont have an stomach because it regressed over the journey, they consume pretty much all of theire body mass during the travel, reproduce and then die. You can identify them by their headform and the completely white belly (usually its more yellow but when they go for theire mating grounds it turns white)

  • As someone who doesn't live around saltwater but has fished on vacation these little kits are pretty decent. If I lived on the coast it wouldn't be my first choice but if you're just wanting to surf fish for a week or have access to inlet/bay areas I think it would work. I learned how to tie my own surf rigs watching YT videos but some things like pyramid weights and specific saltwater gear aren't going to be available at my local stores. The one thing I like about saltwater fishing is you have no idea what you're going to pull out of the water.

  • Hey man, I know my opinion doesnt mean squat and I can only imagine the criticisms you receive as a youtuber but I just wanted to say I really enjoy the cadence of your videos. I really enjoy how your editing allows the sounds of nature to give body to your videos and they are not overwhelmed with music. When you do apply music it's done wonderfully. Not overbearing, perfect volume, used for purpose and not fill. You've become one of few fishing tubers that I regularly click ASAP when a new video drops. Even with no "suspensful" music I've come to recognize the cadence in the "silence of nature" moments when a catch or something exciting is about to happen. Keep doing you brother. Your videos are relaxing and incredibly enjoyable. Thanks for the work you put in to proced the content.

  • Reason why hooks are bigger for saltwater fishing is you want to hook the fish not have it choke your bait. Bigger bait= bigger fish always just like bass fishing. Most small fish won’t hit live mullet, or any other type of bait fish unless it’s a good sized predator. Try Carolina rig near jetties. And get some spider weights with a triple swivel, throw some cut bait for reds usually lady fish, horse mullet or finger mullet are good for that. Love how you don’t just stick to what you know. Been a follower for a long while. Keep on it and good luck to you out there brother.

  • In the uk we get plenty of eels in the sea. That one looked like one of our European silver eel that breeds in the Sargasso Sea. Just use a rag to hold the eel or you middle finger holds it between the index finger and the one next to your pinky. Anyhow, looks like you had a great day and lots of species.

Just throw the line, talk about some dumb stuff, and pull it in when there's a fish on, can't get much easier haha

  • When you pull up an eel or something that might tangle you like that, immediately grab the sinker and lift it above the fish. That way it dangles and flops around below the line and can't tangle you up.
