I still calling them as zombie pigmen until this day. I also didn't use ctrl for sprinting not until later 1.18 because I didn't read the patch note to only to discover it when I was trying to bind some key in the modpack that I played.

honestly i like the more grotesque look of the old netherrack, made the nether more unsettling which i think fits considering what it resembles
yeah the amount of noise in the netherrack texture is very visible and looks more rough and "hellish"

@mr.slappii513 I feel that, I've been playing PE, Console, Bedrock, and Java all before they added hunger, so I was very used to those textures by the time the retexturing happened but still loved all of them

Honestly I find the new netherrack to look more like flesh than it did before. It also sounds more like it too. It sounds like I'm stepping on something alive and squishy when I walk on it.

I think the enchanting table looked pretty cool with cobble, obsidian is more mystic but it's a pain to get if you want to use is as decoration in the enchanting room
spawning normal skeletons in the nether gave you a chance of spawning wither skeletons before 1.11

I like how the vex looks like an evil allay, but I feel like they should’ve gave them that smile. They looked more sinister that way
I honestly dig the old netherrack design, it definitely sells the craggy, hellish landscape you're in, plus it looks like blood is literally *oozing* out of it. New netherrack just looks too smooth, too clean, too sanitized, and I honestly don't really like how it makes the nether look a lot less otherworldly and hellish and more like "oh wow another dimension".

Looking at just the first few comments, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who likes the look of old netherrack _much_ more than current. Also, this was my first time seeing the old end portal frames, but I also thought those looked pretty nice. I agree that the new one fits with what the end is now, but as just a block, I like the old one more.

Also very back in minecraft we had something called Secret settings, which allowed ur in-game screen to do a lot of things even flipping you upside down.

Wardens had a skinny design once if I remember
Instead of crafting Chainmail directly out of chains, we should make Chain Mesh using a 2x2 crafting of Chains that can then be used to craft Chainmail like normal
How many Chain Meshes would we get out of this recipe? Because I think the biggest issue is that to make a chain you need one iron ingot and two nugs, so it feels more expensive to craft than normal iron armor.

Personally, I prefer the 3x3 Nether Portal design that uses 12 obsidian. I usually collect 16 Obsidian, using the remaining four to craft an Enchanting Table

I feel like I'm in a minority in my family and friends who prefers nearly all the new textures. They're just cleaner, brighter, more vibrant. Less crispy. I still get nostalgic for the old stuff but the new stuff looks way, way better. My brother still prefers the old wheat texture and I think he's mad.. the fields of the new one look properly great! The old ones just looked.. so deep fried..
