Great reaction again. 'PA PA YA' is a summer festival song - and they're going hard singing and dancing about a spicy Thai papaya fruit salad.🥝🥗 Such a good live song, it really gets the whole crowd jumping and waving towels round their heads (Su, Moa and Momoko love to see everybody doing that and we love to see them happy, so everybody brings or buys a towel specially for this song). F Hero flew in to Japan specially to perform on the first two nights of BABYMETAL's 2019 tour in Yokohama (that was where this was filmed - I'm glad you got the live version - the official video uses this performance but has the audio from the studio). The third girl in this video was the Avenger Kano, this was her first show with BABYMETAL - she was only 14 years old. They performed in Bangkok in Thailand as part of their world tour last year and F Hero made another special guest appearance. F Hero was rapping in this song to the same rhythm as mixing the ingredients for the salad with a mortar and pestle. They are pretty much saying that, much like the salad, mixing the right spices in the right amounts into life will make that better too.🦊🤘
Pa Pa Ya is from Papaya Pok Pok (F.Hero rap section included the word). It's a Thai salad. Pok Pok is the sound when we mix ingredients with Thai's utencil.
At all the big Babymetal shows that are filmed, they have cameras down on the floor in between the crowd blocks to film the audience reactions. Because the crowd is such a huge part of Babymetal’s performance, they have to capture their role in the show.
and in live shows where the audiences are actively participating in the show are where they do their absolute best

Great reaction! The long intros are used to give the girls, the band, AND the crowd a chance to rest and get some water. And yes, their shows are exhausting for everyone xd. The avenger here is Kano, she is now a member of a jpop band called @onefive.

I don’t know if the intro has something to do with Thai music. But that intro made me imagine that I was walking on an ancient road leading to a mysterious valley. Then in the valley I saw many people singing and dancing around the high platform to celebrate the festival. Thanks for your great reaction.
Thank you for introducing an interesting video. F.HERO once told that he proposed a traditional Thai sound with traditional instruments for this song and Koba-metal was happy to the idea and actually incorporated the sound. I couldn't hear any traditional Thai sound in music videas or CD of this song, but finally found it in the intro of this music video. It added a extra taste to this song and it was cool..

I guess not too many people in the west knows about papayas...and the fact they separated the word doesn't help...😅😅😅 I do love this video of Pa Pa Ya... with Su's "Come on F. Hero!"...and how they bow back to F.Hero, with Su holding her bow even when everyone has straightened up. Respect. 😁🤘🦊🤘

AFAIR there was only a short teaser before they played it live the first time and many fans were outraged on social media because BM made a song with someone that had the F word in his name. F HERO later said that he was afraid to go on the stage. That was day one. The next day there was also a show and dozens or hundreds of people showed up cosplaying as F HERO and everyone that had a towel, flag, rag, shirt or something with them did the swinging it above the head routine when the song came up. This video was shot that night.

She was an avenger. Her last show with BABYMETAL was LEGEND - METAL GALAXY - Day 2, on January 26th, 2020. Kano is currently one of the four Sakura Gakuin graduates that make up the J-Pop group @onefive.

@@Hokkyo11 Yes. For a short period of time Kano was one of BABYMETAL's avengers, Sakura Gakuin President, and a member of @onefive. All at the same time. : ) Now she's just in @onefive. That group has a couple of Japan tours and a new album release coming up.
Haha that intro was deceiving. That is Kano-Metal from Sakura Gakuin the same training band BM was in and an Avenger.
To be clear, she was never officially "Kanometal", she was an avenger, one of the three unnamed supporting dancers. Kanometal was just a fan nickname.

You really need to stop getting your video from that resource. That logo is 100% unnecessary. You're the first reactor out of 100+ that I've seen react to the very video, that uses this version with the logo. If Amuse wants to block you, a stupid logo isn't going to convince them not to, genius. Duh.
That video is similar to the official version but different nonetheless (ripped from the delorian) which is probably the reason for the logo.
This is a straight Blu-ray rip of the first performance of this song. What are you even babbling on about? Blu-ray rips are mostly blocked with video, hence the watermark to stop the copyright block.
