@PennyDreadfulllXIII you do know that 40 times have next to no correlation on the quality of a receiver, right? Worthy may be fast, but he also weighs 165lbs and could very well be jammed at the line. We also don't necessarily need a speedy receiver considering Samuels ran a 4.31. For all we know, worthy ends up being the next John Ross, and Coleman becomes the next DeAndre Hopkins (4.57 40 time). And even if he ends up being fast, we play in the same division as the dolphins who have some of the fastest players in the league, and we still sweep them.
I was surprised the Lions didn't make an appearance, being the franchise of the host city for the 2024 NFL Draft. Other than that, I laughed almost the whole time.

Also if you create a baseball script writer can you ask him why he hates the White Sox so much? It’s already hard enough for me being a Bears fan. I’m not going to survive being a White Sox fan too.
Baseball script writer has too many games to effectively script each one. He just does month-by-month arcs. Until September, when he checks to see how many teams are still in contention and then goes series by series (honestly how a lot of fans follow the game). And then, if really close, game by game for the final week and playoffs. Hockey and Basketball script writers work kinda the same way, but they pretty much just mail in the regular season (though the NBA writer seems to care for Christmas), and then start scripting in earnest for the playoffs (cuz most people watch these sports sparingly until the playoffs).

This included the entire city of Chicago for about seventy-five years, until the old man died in 2004 and they had to put in a temp for a year. Baseball's current script writer was hired in 2006, and has been letting the Cubs win things again, but the family grudge is still there.

The wrestling scriptwriter was so unexpected, and I love everything about it. This concept of other scriptwriters is hilarious and new, and I would love to see it reappear occasionally. This is one of my favorite videos in a long time. Great work!
MLB Script Writer: Overworked and depressed NBA Script Writer: Lazy, predictable and paid off by the usual people. NHL Script Writer: Eccentric, Crazy, and possibly on drugs...lots of drugs.
NHL scriptwriter used to be a goalie, took one too many pucks to the head and before every scriptwriting session, taps both sides of his desk with the pen (mimicking the goalie tapping both sides of the net before play starts) and talks to the desk a'la Patrick Roy talking to the goal posts ("the goal posts are my friends. When that loud clang of a puck ringing the post echos through the arena, acknowledge my friends saved me").

Unfortunately, you can't. Because WWE Tribalism and AEW Tribalism are so hard-coded into the IWC. They can't be okay with the other having even a modicum of success. I say this as the guy who does everything he can to block out the IWC because it's a cesspool on the level of twitter, I watch AEW and WWE. and my life is better for not engaging with the tribalists.

@@jayharv285 Well after the Falcons sat through 2 straight years of Mariota, Ridder, and Heinicke I'd double dip too. Lol Plus there was no guarantee that a QB they liked was available at #8. So going after the best QB available in FA while (potentially) securing your future isn't a flashy move, but if Penix works out for them it won't look as stupid as it does today.
Honestly drafting a QB wouldn't have been too crazy if they drafted a 20 year old. 24 is kinda old to sit backup for 4 years

Well Tom although I wish your channel continued success, if you ever find yourself cancelled you can always fall back on main event announcer for a living.
Incorporating too much of the wrestling stuff is a good way to end the channel's success. You have hundreds of thousands of people who subscribed for NFL content. Now you're going to risk alienating them? If you're so desperate to show your wrestling fandom then make another channel. But some people that are here for NFL content don't want to have to sift through other crap. It's even worse that he's mixing the two now. If this continues I know I can't stay subscribed to Tom, and I'm sure others agree with me.
Always appreciate that even if the season is 17 weeks long, the script writers work year round.
