As a business man myself for the last 25 years i know the root cause and how we had landed to where we are today. Truth hurts but it should be made known, we talk about taxation and yes undergrounds have their direct role in it and had to be blamed but do you know if we dig deeper into this?? Our union and association's Presidents, Chairman, Conveners talking about 24/25 factions but i know how much is being collected and how many factions are being paid and what amount is being paid. Honestly speaking, they collect for 24/25 factions from us but only 6/7 factions are being paid and the balance amount goes to their pocket...curse to them. In order to clean this mess, we should start from our kitchen and that is, cleansing should start from our business community itself by stopping this random collection by unions/association/welfare and blaming others who are directly or indirectly involved in this. We suffer more in our kitchen itself yet there are many ignorant traders who think that these unions and association really work for our welfare and blindly supports them but it is not. This is a reality based on my own experience.

*The NNPGs held an emergency meeting today and came to a conclusion, from next month onwards the LOCAL people doesn't have to pay a single penny as tax to any underground factions, because the tax is only for NON LOCALS and if they fail to give tax to the Naga national government, there will be consequences and harsh punishment according to the law and those LOCAL people who support the NON LOCALS and shield them from the Naga army Tax will be punished regardless of whichever community he/she may belong to*

@@sunepba Local people can do business and control the market and the prices, if the factions tax only the non local then they will have no choice but to return back home and there will be more room for local people to do business and earn, think it in a positive way you dumb Ao tribe.

This is how Nagaland is sending all the revenue to Assam and promoting its economy. Why any issues in Nagaland cannot be resolved without protests and bans? Why those powerful organisations are taking advantage of their positions in pushing their demands by protesting that affects everyone? To me this only shows their incompetency to handle the matter which could be done without burdening or victimizing common people where both the party could be brought to the negotiating table to hammer out solution. This could be achieved without giving such terrorizing call for protests or bans in such a short span of time that victimises those downtrodden people. Remember that the rich can afford to stock up or purchase essentials even if the price fluctuates but how about those daily wage and BPL families that survive on day to day without any surplus stock. The aims of the protest is to bring two people to a negotiating table for a solution, and this could be achieved without victimizing the whole populace through pragmatic and diplomatic approach with the right people in authority. The much needed issues that needs solutions like illegal price fixation, MRP scam, syndicate, smuggling etc are ignored and the issue of taxation is being pushed for their own organisation's welfare. Therefore powerful organisation seems to have become legal authority in giving such terrorizing call for protests and bans which is illegal in any court of law. The rich aren't affected as much as the poor by such call. The state govt and its concerned dept seems to prefer the role of a "postman" who doesn't know which yardstick to apply or use inspite of having all the legal authority, and seem to be trapped in its own cloak policy of appeasement. The real victim in this story are the poor downtrodden people who in good times serve the rich and in bad times suffers the most. In such a situation, the church remains most diplomatic and seem to need some convincing inorder to do some charity. Alas! May God Saved My Nagaland from all of its own selfish whims and ambition that operates under the disguise of countless unions, associations, factions, groups, etc shouldered mostly by vested self interested leader whose goal is for their own group welfare and not to serve general public. Remember Nagaland is for Christ when Nagas live in Christ.
