I like Adam. Always great at calling out bullshit and is respectful in doing so. Proper articulate bloke. Has more that enough knowledge on fury ducking usyk to back Frank into a corner he can’t get out of. He’s just not the best under pressure. It comes down to how comfortable you are with confrontation in front of a camera. Frank is petulant and aggressive so will bulldoze his way through a debate even if he’s lying through his teeth.
I think alot of Fury fans need to go back and rewatch the Talksport videos on Fury. As it's not just spouting "ducking". They are giving all the evidence from after fight interviews, Netflix quotes then "negotiations and 60/40 contracts.

You don't base your argument on what you watch on Netflix. Adam Catterall was wrong. Fury does not negotiate. Frank and Spencer do. Secondly, Fury always winds up the public and Adam Catterall always falls for it. 90% of what Fury says is mostly jokes or incorrect. He does the opposite. He said he is not fighting Usyk. But it has happened. He said he won't fight Whyte. He did. My point is Adam should always ask the promoters to talk more about deals rather than base your facts on social media. Adam has zero inside information. Gareth A Davis has. Adam is not close to any fighter. So, he just draws inferences from social media. That is biased and unprofessional. Frank Warren was right to call him out. Sadly, he was too scared to back up all the tussle on set.

But so few people do actually KNOW what's going on. All the public (and probably the journos too) hear is contradicting arguments from all camps claiming who did and who didn't "want it". Since the point when Joshua and Fury held the belts, we've been denied the 'champagne' fights that people want to see. Namely: Fury v Joshua Fury v Usyk (although this is likely to be a dull 'dodge-fest') Joshua v Wilder Usyk v Wilder In some cases, there have been mitigating circumstances, but whilst those fights remain unmade, everything else will be seen as 'warm lager' to the casual fight fans and the general public.

The best fighters aren't fighting each other and when confronted Frank just gives excuses as to why they haven't fought and all his fighters want it and the others don't. That might well be the case, but that just means he's agreeing that the best aren't fighting the best. He literally agrees provided Tyson gets zero blame for the fights falling through.

Frank blocked Talksport from covering the Fury vs Ngannou in Riyadh, so Catterall is in a catch 22 here. If he's too straight up with Frank he upsets his employees and .jeopardizes his job. Fury Chisora 3 was a joke, the Ngannou fight was only entertaining cos Fury sh4t the bed. None of the big fights have happened for the last 18 months. Fact is, Catterall is one of the best pundits in the game and one of the only people who tries to hold the fighters and promoters accountable.

This is the most real and genuine interview I’ve seen from Frank Warren publicly in a long while. Say what you want but he’s genuinely pissed off and it shows, to his credit btw. Adam Catterall made some good points in his monologue but it was a journalist being a journalist with all the needle that they like to do.

Adam looked like he was squirming ,soon as he was on the camera he was asking the people filming to stop doing it, he knew what time it was , just the sort of thing guilty people do. He got hit with facts , he got caught calling Tyson Fury a coward , the fight has now been signed, and we all know that skills challenge didn’t want to pay Alexander Usk the money. The man had no argument, you can’t argue against the truth, that’s the problem Adam found himself in, hence why he wanted to stop everybody recording.

When Someone in a discussion wont acknowledge the truth "that Fury said himself he didnt want to fight usyk" they haven't schooled anyone... They just lose credibility. Tyson WAS asked by his team to give them more time to get it done with AJ and he refused after making up bs deadlines! And he was THRILLED when his little deadline passed. Why was he so happy if he wanted to fight? Why was he so angry and viscous when usyk accepted 70/30? And why immediately throw up another roadblock in the rematch clause and angrily as well? Why LIE and con the fans that he was in training for the Usyk fight only to be caught out by Sugar Hill? These are legitimate questions and as a journalist Adam has a responsibility to talk about them.
I don’t think what Adam said was actually wrong. He simply called out Fury for ducking and diving his way out of fights. End of. Adam simply said that Fury doesn’t seem to want to fight certain fighters and just says he will then doesn’t. He gave Joshua a chance then put some stupid deadline on Joshua. Frank is making things up and he’s waffled whenever he’s asked. He tries to make a story just to cover Fury because Fury himself is unpredictable. Adam knows he’s said some truth and is just smiling through it.
