  • If you watch the punch at the end of the first round in the Martinez/Lewis fight at 1/4 speed, there was definitely a couple bell rings before he started the action of the punch. No contest was the right call

  • This is more entertaining to people who don’t understand boxing in the same way that the annual slam dunk contest is more entertaining to people who don’t understand basketball. Few, if any, of these guys would even make decent sparring partners for top flight boxers. There is a reason why they fight fewer and briefer rounds.

  • What a joke. That punch was perfectly timed. This is why sports have become a joke. Too many rules create too many problems. Get rid of the time and rounds like og ufc. What's the point in a fight its about dominance not who can balance breaks and fights. Makes zero sense to have rounds

  • boxing refs are so fucking weird. i only really watch mma, so seeing refs just stand to the side and do nothing to stop late strikes etc is so weird. it's like their job isnt to protect the fighters at all, it's so confusing. I don't think i like boxing Lol
