I first saw it and was like "What server is this, it looks scripted", then a read the description and learned that it is staged. And to be honest, this is what staged video should be like. Telling a story, not a fake "lets play"

The lore is crazy, we still don't know what the Wonders do, we don't know what Wemmbu and Spoke's plan are, The storytelling and timing of everything is a masterpiece. A lot of people don't like scripted SMP's but this was perfectly put together and I love this series so far. Hope to see more lore-driven content like this and can't wait to see the next episode of Unstable Universe!
I kinda of dislike how obvious it is but it is still interesting. They don’t even show them entering a call or the XP level changing. They prob filmed this in a few days. Although it is a good video and still like it.

@@SuslentAlso they use Proximity Chat sometimes so they can’t always hear each other and that’s what they want even though they all know exactly what’s happening around them and others which is why it’s so fun to watch!
I personally enjoyed the first half but not the second, in the second half parrots logic and reasoning seem non logical and we don't see any justification as to why he does what he does. Like why not set the machine off before spoke? Why did he choose to build a orbital strike cannon when he new the coords? He could have just griefed it in person, even if he just built it to make a point that would have been stronger than "uh idk I just have to". And how come we get literally 0 interaction with spoke when he is portrayed as the main antagonist. And why is roshambo so willing to help wembu and then instantly changes his mind to help parrot. I liked the more cinematic approach of this video but I think the script could have been better and more logical towards the end. I guess the video does its job of being entertaining to a younger audience with a couple twists and surprised but I just wish a bit more thought was put into it.

I really like Spoke and Wemmbu's houses. They have so much character, and are really good set pieces. It adds a lot to the believibilty of this world as an smp the characters live in.

AMAZING VIDEO AND STORY, A few critiques that hopefully will help. This did feel a bit scripted, which tbh is fine, and this did tell a really good story. But I feel like it would be good to really focus on building tension in the beginning to compensate for the scripted feeling. I did see tension building, but really just figuring out a way to make a tension that would allow viewers to not care if it was scripted or not! Tbh you did have amazing tension building, I think the exposition may just be a bit too confusing. Something felt off, so I'm tryna figure out what XD

this is the one i was hoping the minecraft cinematics... As a storyteller, all can i said that this is actually a masterpiece...
The storytelling is on point as always. Also, if I can try to provide some constructive criticism: while this is staged, and even officially admitted to be staged, some of the staging feels a bit too apparent, and it kind of gets in the way of the immersion into the story. Just as an example: the spying at the beginning of the video doesn't really feel covert/stressful (bucket clutch would be audible, killing the creeper would be audible, you're not hiding with invis pot and taking your armor off, when they fly away they literally have you in their field of view...). Could be something to try and improve on, maybe.
