Wardens - Season 4, Episodes 7 & 8: Cheeseheads & Three-Fifty-Seven | Outdoor Documentary
Watch the next episode of 'Wardens' here: • Wardens: Mercy Kill & ...
In this episode:
Montana game wardens are looking for poachers and those not hunting within the law, all with a little help from full size decoys and local citizens calling in to the TIP-MONT hotline and game wardens try and track down a potential poacher who took a deer out of season. Then, we'll follow another warden as he takes his son hunting when his son draws a hard to come by moose tag.
When your job is protecting our most precious natural resources in some of the nation’s most remote areas, there is rarely a dull moment. Wardens chronicles the lives of Conservation Officers in America. The show features the men and women who protect public lands, from ride-alongs on interstate game checks, to anti-poaching sting operations; from remote snowmobile trails in grizzly bear country, to unforgiving white-water rapids. While the focus of Wardens is enforcement of regulations, the show takes special precautions to ensure the general public understand those who would violate the rules are the minority and the vast majority of encounters with our Wardens are law-abiding citizens.

Nothing better than seeing a dad and son enjoying a hunt together!!
I love that y’all caught that on video for him… what a special moment to have with his dad!
Young man you are lucky to have your father. He is lucky to have you. That's the good stuff. Great bull .
Super moose young man. Did he make 60”?
That hunt will live happily in their hearts and minds forever now... absolutely beautiful
That moose hunt is exactly what hunting is all about! Really enjoyed coming along on that hunt.
Seeing this young man get that moose makes the work and sweat worth it all now congrats
It was not educational to the guy that knows he was doing wrong before he did it , he's just sorry he got caught.
The lad worked a long time for that shot. For some reason, he sure seems happy about it all....
That’s what is wrong with the poachers and road hunters. They don’t want to put in the time. So they should do time.
Thank you to all game wardens who protect and preserve wildlife but with all due respect the decoy trap won’t work all the time a veteran hunter will soon figure it out
Thanks for the report but wardens are still no good and I standby what I said
Great job Zach. Enjoy every moment you can with your dad . I remember my first hut with my father and lord knows I’d give anything to just have one more hunt with him.
Way To Go Zach 👊🏻💥💥 Great Moose!! Congratulations To You…
What a magnificent bull. Congratulations👍👍
Lol my guy has some dash lights on I'm guessing lots of eletrical tape on the cluster :D.
GUILTY UNTIL PROVEN INOCENT!
Nobody was convicted of anything. Some got tickets and have the choice to go to court of not. Others were let go.
Calling that a road is definitely stretching the truth of the matter
Thank god the dude from Wisconsin didn’t make us look bad
Make sure you are using blaze orange when shooting from the roadway. If you wear blaze orange and the bullet ricochets the bullet will stop in its tracks, and turn in another direction to ensure that it won't fly back and hit you. 👍👍💯 .... I hope u know im kidding
Dispatcher still learning how to read lmao
The young lad at the end, about to put a 3rd round in the moose, turns and faces his dad with the barrel pointing straight at him, I'd like to think off camera someone had a word??
Well for starters wardens , you need to know the caliber of a 357 slug and it ain’t a 30 caliber it’s actually a 36 caliber
P
I used to hunt when I was 15 or 16 but I lost the zest for it because I started to fall I love with animals and wild life and I just didn't have the heart to kill anther animal. But it's nice to see son and father having something in common which they can enjoy together.
Great job zack
They have hobbits working for the sheriff department 😝
Why aren't the wardens wearing orange walking around in the woods while big game gun season is in?
@FDReal when will you upload railroad Alaska remaining seasons
I love watching Warden Golie and his tight Wrangler buns swaying side to side. I could watch him walk on a treadmill all day.
Im sure its Just a coincidence the wardens son drew a moose tag haha
This is kinda crazy to me, get caught shooting a deer from the road here in GA and you'll go to jail...as you should..down here they will impound your truck, take the gun you used to poach...I didn't know that other places only write 100$ ticket..
What has this to do with cheeseheads?
Take note! Clean your pistol after you poach a deer! Thanks for the heads up guys! Way to educate poachers!!!
That sure looks like a bullet hole in the moose’s left antler.
I thought that at first, but if you watch the video you can see it looks more like damage. That whole is a giant split. Start at 40:58.
He knew what he was doing was wrong so therefore the law is useless.
25:43 why is there so much Black Tape on the tach/spedo??? covering up what?
Trying to hide the fact that he's going 100 mph?
Or maybe there just wasn't anything done wrong but of course yall claim everyone is a criminal until proven innocent which is exactly opposite of how it should be
That is entrapment !
What part? Putting out a decoy? You might need to read the definition of ''entrapment''. Nobody made them shoot at the decoy, they chose to. If they walked off the road and shot it nothing would come of it. They shot onto private property And shot from the road. Both are illegal and they were not forced or lead to do either.
Glad this Internet genius knows more than professionals
It's actually more dangerous being a game Warden because your dealing with people with high powered rifles.
How could you kill such a majestic animal as that moose . I used to hunt now I see the beauty of such creatures and get much more satisfaction out of photographing them . The photo lasts forever and the animals live on ! Better.
That's cool. Keep taking your pictures and I'm sure he'll keep hunting. In the grand scheme no one cares what you do, so don't flatter yourself thinking your opinion matters. We live and we die that's the cycle of life. Outside of that, ride in your lane and let others ride in theirs.
I ate the last photo of a moose and I was still hungry.
They tasty bro
With a rifle, weren't you watching the video???🤡
IAM A KINDA LAW ABIDIN CITIZEN'. BUT ENTICIN THE PUBLIC IS WRONG LIFE IS HARD ENOUGH AS IT IS.
100 % Entrapment
1,000% not. Educate yourself
Yankees
The civil war is over and we won. You should be glad that they even call northerners red necks. ... Not me I'm a northern country boy. No Redneck..
Civil war is over and we won...
Censorship we won.
.357 isn’t 30 caliber
Decoys are entrapment.
😂😂🤡🤡🤡🤡
Sounds like Montana is a Hunt and take state...like NC..... you got the cash..tour good to go
I like hunting but you might as well go to the zoo
Screw your decoy that's bull rap to charge someone for enticing them to shoot something and then charge them for shooting regardless
If you can’t catch someone breaking the law, you create entrapment scenarios to catch someone, pretty poor display of professionalism.
Take it you have been caught !
@@AngeloA-pp7gq ha ha. I have been a LEO officer in Texas for 31 years and have seen it all. This is straight up entrapment, and we don’t use this technique
Nobody is forcing them to shoot or break the law…you dont understand “entrapment”
Entrapment is defined as a situation in which a normally law-abiding individual is induced into committing a criminal act they otherwise would not have committed because of overbearing harassment, fraud, flattery or threats made by an official police source.
Been a LEO in Michigan and Ohio. This is not entrapment. Been to Supreme Court.
Did they maybe reload it and that's why one bullet looked different .
Warden Brian G is a perfect example of an arrogant little man using his badge to feel big! That being said......I do appreciate & respect what wardens do to protect & serve
Poachers are just selfish greedy idiots , why can't people just follow the law when it comes to hunting. I don't care if you want to break the law in most other areas , just not when your hunting.
Everyone knows you get one free one for camp meat
357 is NOT 30 caliber
The word "Entrapment" springs to mind here.
