I think the court yard could be a giant tree with jungle themed statues and temples scattered around.
Very spicy idea
@@NotPaulGG or it can be a zoo of all the friendly animals
@@KFC_Chicken-Yum yess with the temple
@@KFC_Chicken-Yum well we all know where the trade guy would go😂 Zoo prison or hell
@@NotPaulGG use frog lights for lighting
I think you should make one of those big auto-sorters that use water to travel all throughout the base
YEEEEEEESSSSSSSS
he'll ye
He should also do some merch
Some merch about his world
I love this idea!
Good to have you back
Sick base Paul! I think you need to lean into the fact that you are underwater and add more windows in the outer circuit to look both out into the ocean and in to the inner fish tank and your courtyard. Like in your bedroom for example; perfect spot to add some underwater viewing elements.
Great video Paul! I love watching your content. I think a good idea for the base would be to challenge yourself to build in a way you usually don’t. Maybe adding texture to stuff, like cobblestone/mossy cobblestone to the bottoms of the walls going up so it looks like there’s more wear and tear on the foundation. Adding stripped oak logs to the floors to break up the oak planks. Etc. I think it would be really cool to take this build as a challenge for yourself.
I agree. Would be a good idea.
i was about to comment the same thing
Having biomes in the centre would be sick, love the base Paul.
Like your waterfall idea, I think the Beacon should be the centre/topper for a water fountain! I think a village is a cool idea, but I think you should make buildings from temples/villages from different biomes. I'd love to see a desert temple as a cool building in your inner area!
Second this. These all sound like really cool ideas!
You should use red stone for your lights, add a daylight sensor to it and they will automatically come on at night
Wait, does that actually work?
@@kodi2329 yeah yeah I’ve done it loads, takes a lot of prepping and red stone but looks and works great once it’s done
Yes finally he uploaded again. I thought he was gonna leave us 😭 but he returned. Paul I just want you to know I love watching your videos. You may not see this comment but I want you to know to keep up the hard work and keep having fun! Ps I immediately clicked on this video when it uploaded. Love the vids paul
Appreciate the love and support!
@@NotPaulGG your welcome! U keep inspiring me to start making a minecraft Chanel or upload on this one again. Also will watch the other video with you and the boys after
Courtyard should be a tranquility area with the new bamboo wood and cherry blossoms
for the lighting problem is you can make an outline in the floor touching the wall using a light source of choice and place leaves over it, i used it in some of my builds and it looks pretty cozy and chill
I think sea lanterns in the walls would look sick Maybe add like ocean ruins themed decorations around the base
You should definitely use sea lanterns to light the base but instead of putting it on the floor you should put it at the bottom of the walls.
Convert the Cave into your storage, with a ladder off the tube. You can go infinitely down.
7:50 Paul’s pain is very tangible here. It’s like losing and entire essay perfectly typed up and ready to be submitted, then having to explain to your prof. what happened and trying to get more time to work on it all while knowing it won’t be better than the first time you wrote it.
Missed this series so much, glad to see it back
i think the courtyard should be a beautiful lush garden with water features and pretty lights!! it would look beautiful in the dark especially with shaders
Another amazing video! Been waiting! You did so good on this one, keep up the great work!

I think a modern/space theme would look awesome, possibly using quartz, blackstone, a colored concrete as a contrast, and sea lanterns for lighting.
The king has returned 🫡. glad to have you back Sir Paul
An idea I had for the court yard is to build a trading tower, or trading village, with like a mid evil vibe. Using wool to add color in the roofs or flags/banners? Each color could indicate a job. You could use the banners in the outer ring as well for colors, kinda break up the stone a bit. Love your work Paul!!
Great vid loved it ❤ and for the outer wall you could put it into sections to fit in every biome and in the middle make a grand tree that uses all the different woods 😊
I don’t know if anyone else has mentioned it, but you could totally start putting fish, squid, and other aquatic animals in the middle ring and name them after subscribers/commenters. It’s practically the same as the Kingdom, but I feel like it would make it feel more connected to the community.
LOVE IT GUYS PAULS BACK WITH SPICY CONENT 🔥
Where the cave is, place a large glass arch from the outside circle to the inside, so you can land in the ocean dive down, and swim into the outer ring, then walk into a glass tunnel under the middle ring to the inner ring, that would be cool af. Like you go down a bit more from where you are so the inner is above it in terms of level so the water can't come into the base. Glass dome over the middle, making a massive Eden Dome type thing with every kinda forest mixed in there and right in the middle a large tower of polished diorite {like the white tower} in the middle where you can plop farms
Well, I believe there should be something done with a cave which is underneath - you can build cool entrance from base's outer ring with an exit in a courtyard. IMO don't dry the whole cave besides places where someone could have been "working" before your arrival. What's more, you can make some "stops" with air pockets - one symbolising every biome or maybe every boss? Of course, entrances to dried parts of cave could be linked to the autosorter already mentioned in the comments. Not to mention your already estabilished underwater village - one of the caves (either existing or manmade) could be linking glass city to cave system which is linked to your mega base. If there's an ancient city biome below, making these ideas come true could give kind of subnautica vibes to the existing world. I know it's an ambitious project, but well, I'm just playing with a plot telling the history of this place. Love your videos
Definitely feeling a cool jungle vibe for the center. A giant fountain/waterfall centerpiece would be awesome, too!
Here’s my ideas: In the courtyard I think you should make a giant tree and have a water fall that goes underground to a village/villager trading hall. I also think that the aquarium should go under ground to this level. I think the roof would be super cool if it was a glass dome that was open in the middle where the courtyard is. Like come a bit over the courtyard but not all the way. And finally I think the wall that separates the house and the aquarium should be glass. I think it would be cool to see into the house from the courtyard and see the aquarium from the house. But all in all it looks amazing!!!
For lighting line the bottom of the wall with a lighting block (whichever you see easiest to obtain) then cover those lighting with spruce trapdoors. The light should still leak through. Also i recommend adding more depth to the walls with pillars and also some texture changes in some spots of the wall so then it isn’t one solid color.
Make a massive custom tree with a passive mob zoo. Then go into the middle of the tree and make an underground area with a automatic sorter, vault and smelting room.
Idea for the base: make a Minecraft world in an older version, obtain end portal frame blocks, transfer it over to your world (like kolanii did) and use it as lighting by putting it under your bedroom and covering it with glass after you light it
Finaly, I have been waiting for this for so long!
It might be a hard one to get setup, but how about a froglight farm? You could then use the froglights to light up your base with more creativity! As for decorative ideas, I would honestly love to see a dragon of any kind! Preferably a blue dragon (using prismarine), but I'm sure a green (dark prismarine) or purple (purpur blocks) one would also look cool!
In the main base line up daylight sensors on the roof and get the redstone lamp connect those so you'll have the perfect house feeling to your base and for aesthetic purposes put lanterns on the roof.
Maybe build a tube in the underwater part that goes all around it in and you can put some cool stuff there. Whatever you think is good 👍
You should make a giant deep hole where the courtyard is and build a small platform in the middle with walkways to the doors, and you could also use the glass trick at the bottom so it looks like it goes down infinitely.
I think a giant cavern underneath the courtyard would look amazing. If it was nicely lit and had lots of greenery, it would be like the ocean opening up into a huge open cave. You could have like waterfalls falling into it from the courtyard/ocean and maybe levels or tiers to it with farms and villagers inside.
I really like the idea of a massive tree in the courtyard, but how about something like Home Tree from the Avatar movies? There's blue wood now for starters so you could make it look all fantastical and stuff. I think it'd be pretty. For the fish tank, definitely add some decorations and fish (though you probably will anyway xD) with like sea pickles for light and lily pads on the top, stuff like that. Inside, you've for sure gotta add some homey touches to the bedroom, like plants and pots and little cubbies and stuff. Also split it up and create a villager area with like an area for beds and sleeping and an area for work with themed sections for each job category you choose to have. I know this is a lot but I go overboard with Minecraft sometimes 😂
I imagined a fountain in the center of the courtyard that shoots up items from farms that flow into a storage system. o: Also, end rods might be cool lighting for this base!
For lighting, you could put sea lanterns/shroomlights/glowstone underneath the slabs of the floor, to give it a mystic vibe
You should make the courtyard an aboveground living green cave (I forgot what its called) but also a zoo!!! like later on in the series you get one of every peaceful mob and put them in there and use blocks from the plant caves and flowers and make it pretty, cause you don't do enough pretty projects in your series'
Love the ideas 😊 Make the bridge with a glass floor please 14:57
I like the every biome idea
I think in the centre of the base you could make a villager trading hall featuring the different kinds of villagers
I really like the idea of having a floating island above the courtyard as if a civilization came in a reformed the ground under the island😊
You should make a hall of memories of your Minecraft achievements
Hey Paul, I just wanted to let you know: You're making fantastic content and keeping me entertained! Keep up the great work!!
I think the middle courtyard should be an homage to all of your survival worlds. Different Easter eggs and such. Like a monument of the original chickpea or a reference to the sand box that destroyed your world. I think that would be an amazing centerpiece/capstone to your hardcore journey thus far.
I think you should make a fountain under the beacon and then homes or spots for villagers with specific jobs.❤
If your gonna line the bottom of the walls, you could try to get all the froglight colors and alternative them around the circle.
paulgg has returned with another great video i think you should build Steve in the middle and a village around him ?? thanks for a great video !
I think you should build like 3 or 4 biomes in the middle. Like your 3 or 4 favourite or maybe 3 or 4 custom biomes
I think you could use the watercave as an interesting element of the build, there could be something hidden at the bottom. Like an access to somewhere, or anything else.
You should tunnel down from the bridge into the water cave and make a auto sorter/storage room in a glass room kinda like the OG underwater base.!
Cool idea for lighting add Lamps around the base and add lanterns as the lighting
Let’s go love a good paulGG vid
I like this series just keep going i will always support u
I think there should definitely be some kind of cool statue in the courtyard, maybe a ton of flowers too. Turn it into some kinda cool garden.
It’s good seeing Pauly post a Minecraft video
Really happy to see you back!
Yipppe you're back 🥺🥺 glad to gavung you in my recommended ❤
Good to have you back 😍😊
YAY!!! More Paul!!!! Honestly, you're my favourite content creator! I know you have a lot of fans and a ton of comments, but if you happen to see this, just know you make me love Minecraft and you inspire me with incredible ideas! You're also simply a pleasure to watch!
Thanks Paulgg literally been having crisis trying to find something to watch this made my day
I personally think for the lighting Paul, you should use frog lights. Maybe replace the corners of you room with them or maybe even the floor.
I love your videos Paul! I think that you should put a village somewhere, so that you can access one easier Love your videos
I like the waterfall idea, and maybe you can put a massive ender portal inside it. Love the content keep going Paul!
Friendly reminder that your content is a true comfort and well appreciated. Just know, we do hope your enjoying your time with what you do, and enjoy your own free time. I’m glad I get to see you play, makes me feel comfy when days begin to drag, or sweep by faster than I can think. I myself am doing quite alright as I get temp work done now so I’m not entirely a broke bicth.
I adore the Photoshop explanation, Paul. There's just something so wholesome about it 😂 also the future Paul joke? Love it. What a mood.
You know what you need? SWIMMING HOLE! I just, I immediately thought of that. Maybe make it a Kelp farm?
You should put a giant sword in a stone like the king arthur stories, and embed the beacon in the top of the handle as the gem
I think you should move your super smelter inside the base on one of the "flat sides" or if you build a village in the center you could put it in an industrial or a blacksmith building 😀
I think that it would be awesome to build like a museum: tribute to previous water bases. Like a statue of Richard from the OG underwater series or a statue of chickpea because every water base needs one.
I think you should definitely do like a foresty thing with the spruce and maybe use the new lush stuff 😊😊
A cozy jungle village and a small pond with a Mangrove tree? Add some statues and throw some epic villagers and pandas in there and it should be beautiful...a more modern futuristic style base in the outer circle could make a good contrast:)
For the lighting you should use either shroom lights or glowstone
I think end rods would look cool set up as strip lighting
I think the beacon in the center of everything would be a great idea, and if you had like electrical looking stuff coming out of it it would look like it was powered
I think you should put glass on the moat and use the sea lighting on top like every 5th or 6th in the middle. The outside could have different lighting based on the area like smelter would have some red lighting, library could have a campfire+torches
I love Minecraft mega base videos!
Was pissed since i just reinjured my back today, but i saw a new paulgg vid and instantly popped some popcorn to watch while i wallow 👍
It would be amazing if you turned the courtyard into a colosseum to where subscribers could come and compete in the subscriber games. Obviously you would need to set there premotions to guest but I think it would be an amazing addition to the channel and you would get to interact with you subscribers.
I think it’d be cool to do something desert themed in the middle, maybe with a giant cactus - like a reverse oasis (dry inside wet!)
For the lighting: since the majority of the floors are half slabs you can do light blocks beneath them- glowstone sea lanterns frog lights torches or shroomlights and they’ll all light the area up, but honestly I feel like soul lanterns /soul campfires would look the coolest in the ocean. In the center you could do the fountain and do soul campfires surrounded by warped trapdoors too, since trapdoors above a block create an air pocket; and then run water around it.
you should use dark oak planks for the bedroom and glowstone for lighting
pual add a layer of lava around the entire roof and seal it with glass over top of it, it completely get rids of all mob issues
Hi Paul, I love your videos!!! Anyways I think you should do every biome in minecraft for the courtyard but in the middle there will be a giant magical tree!
I do think having sea lanterns would be the best idea to light up the base.
Add a wall of leaves but with Stripped Oak Logs
I think having floating candles would look really magical for lighting
You should build a villager trading hall in the center also love your vids keep up the good work❤
I really do like the idea of lining the circle with sea lanterns
I'm thinking an Atlantis themed base. Is that too easy/predictable an idea? Like, the beacon in the center, use some of the ocean temple blocks and jungle-y blocks, and make that outer circle a vertical city for the villagers. Complete with a section(s) of vendors, as the market place(s), and then living spaces lining the walls. The center could be an extention of the courtyard from the tunnels. Idk if there is even enough space for all that, but I thought that would be pretty sick.
Hey Paul, I love getting into bedd whipping out my laptop and watching your series. Keep up the great work. :)
Paul love the hardcore vids
I think the aquarium will look cool from both sides so u should replace the stone bricks with glass from outer most ring to the middle ring thingi
You should make a mob display museum that has every mob besides the ender dragon and wither
For the court yard you should make it or add to it a mysterious mystical mangrove swamp and you should add allays to act as ghosts to help give the vibe a little more spooky scenes.
you should build a giant dirt mansion
