+Tesem Jedees Ok, first l'd like to say l know this horse has been fed good and probably and hopefully been treated good... But l understand horses very good.. l've seen all kinds of horses.. warm bloods everything.. The horse is fed great, l'm sure he is. But this horse is hurting in his mouth... He's pulling hard probably not on purpose but that does not mean it's not hurting You have to know that when he pulls the bit goes up to the horses palate At 00:53 you can see him doing it... He's holding his mouth open in pain At 00:39 you can see too that he's holding his mouth right open he's hurt in his mouth 01:10 this is not happy behavior.. this is hurting a lot l have seen stallions.. did walk with them.. train them and ride them same counts for mares.. l've seen pure bred.. the hot bloods l'm sure he's feeding his horse great. (l'm not calling him bad or anything.. but the horse is hurting here..

@@MaritsView Ýou have "seen" horses. I raised Asil Arabians for over 20 years. Some Arabs walk calmly. But some do not. My best stallion could walk, but on the lead line, he preferred to prance. He was very happy and a gentle soul, but he was also exhuberant, filled with life. Another stallion, I would have corrected because prancing at the walk is the first step to becoming an unruly stud. But my best stallion was a gentleman, so I allowed him to prance on the lead line when walking him from the barn to his pasture. I do not believe the horse in this videio is in pain or being mistreated. Some Arabian horses are high spirited and to allow them to show off instead of rening them in is allowing the horse to be himself. You can tell by the color of this horse that he is young. An older stallion would be much lighter as his coat turns from gray to white. Young stallions need to be exposed to unfamiliar sights and sounds, yet at the same time, they must be controllable. Personally, I would not correct a horse in hand by using the reins. But there are different training methods for different countries. Arabians have been domesticated longer than any other breed of horse and the tradional means of training are also centuries old. True, not every handler is a good equestrain. But before you pass judgement on the people and the horse in this video, keep in mind that this is a video that has been edited. The viewer is not seeing the whole picture. Horse abuse is a pet peeve of mine and I was never afraid to call out abuse at a show, regardless of how famous the trainer. But to say the hose in this video is in pain is one-sided. Some training methods only apply pressure when the horse is naughty and after a few attempts at being rebellious, the horse figures out that if it behaves, then no pressure is applied. In other words, the horse learns to avoid causing his own discomfort. This is acceptable. What is not acceptable are cruel training methods that inflect pain regardless of the horse's response. A good example is blistering the bottom of the feet or applying other methods to irritate the horse so it picks up its feet with a higher knee action. Illegal bits, gingering, using draw reins or standing martingale without double reins, driving a bridled horse in hand with long lines, the incorrect use of spurs... the list goes on and on. Those methods are not part of any respectable horseman's repetoire of schooling aids. And I do not believe any of them are being used on the horse in this video. 'nuff said.

@@martimasters7704 Stallions can act out that's absolutely true but horses understand pressure and release and the reason why l said this horse is hurting is because the man is holding this horse very tightly with a metal pain bit in his mouth.. It would've been different did he have a halter. Magnum Psyche is also a stallion the owners can ride him bareback and have him a long lead. It's all about how they are trained, how long you spend with them. l bet this man could do this differently.

@@MaritsView I've been around horses since I was a kid and when I finished my university studies, I built a ranch with my bare hands and acquired a top quality yearling filly. I schooled her and by the time she was 3 years old, she was unbeatable in the show ring. By the time she was 4, she was going beautifullly under saddle, both as a show horse, later as a dressage horse, and we spent many happy days in the countryside as well. She loved to race and it's a wonder we never met with an accident. In the meantime, I aquired an exceptional stud colt and the rest is history. Horses of my breeding can be found in sud barns, in pastures with their babies, and some became personal riding horses. I gelded a top stud because the buyer wanted a gelding and she took him to nationals. After spending the better part of my life with horses, I moved to Europe and maybe someday, I will have horses again when I have some leisure time. That said, I don't need a lecture from you, Marit. I made my point very clear the first time around. We can agree to disagree. The idea that a horse should never be disciplined is wrong. The idea that some horses do not need some serious discipline is also wrong. I've known stallions that are so tough and rebellious, you have to be very firm with them. Some fillies can also be very tough when they are young, particularly linebred *Morafic grandchildren. You haven't handled the horse in the video and you don't know the whole story because this is a few minutes out of the horse's life. These days, Arabs typically use jointed snaffle bits and for unruly horses, it is common to have side shanks. The traditional Arab ring bit is rarely used. I believe the elite palace riders of the Moroccan king still use the ring bits when they perform exhibitions in their gold horse furnishings. Finally, we must keep in mind that the horse in this video is out in the open - not in an indoor riding arena where there are walls and an even floor. When you've successfully trained many horses in open conditions, you let me know. Til then, I've written my observations and I'm not at all interested in continuing this converation.
