The First Era 0:14 : The Realm of the Apuphu is created by humans near the central Western region of the world. It quickly colonizes large swathes of the land, bringing civilization as they go. 0:35 : The southern portion of the Realm rebels against the king, forming the Muwagy imperium. They are swiftly crushed but the worst is yet to come. 0:40 : The collapse of the Apuphu. Nearly the entire Western part of the Realm breaks off from the Apuphu, forming the Phusy, and dragging the world into a devastating civil war. The crises leaves the Apuphu severely weakened, which allows for the rise of the Byb after the Eastern cities rebel. The Apuphu, unable to handle the crises, collapses. The Second Era 0:50 : With the Apuphu gone, the Byb settles the rest of the world. The Byb engages in a series of wars with new rebel empires in the North and the remnant of the Phusy. 0:57 : The Holy Aki theocracy pushing Byb out of the core cities of humanity, reducing them to a shadow of their former empire. 1:00 : The Byb is nearly destroyed by years of rebellion and conquest. Their rivals, The Aki, similarly faces challenges with their empire collapsing due to corruption and rebellion. The Third Era 1:12 : The world has been fully settled. The Byb, against all odds, manages to untie themselves and conquer the southeast of the world. The Phusy has somehow risen from it’s near destruction to become the world’s dominant power. Both empires agree to invade what is left of the Aki, and split the lands between them. 1:20 : The Byb and the Phusy are the 2 superpowers of mankind, yet both wishes for more. Instead of engaging in a devastating war with each other, they entire a Cold War, where each of them attempt to topple the other from the inside by inciting revolutions and rebellions. The Fourth Era. 1:52 : After countless civil wars, and untold misery, the Byb finally comes out on top. The Phusy is destroyed by many different nations rebellion and then attacking it. The Byb is now the unquestioned master of the world. Nations rise and fall over the sands of history, yet the Byb stays firm against the rest of world, surviving rebellion and invasion. 1:59 : The Seguni Kingdom arises amid the chaos of the West. It experiences a steady rise, gobbling up its neighboring nations. Eventually it would become powerful enough to be a counterweight to the Byb. 2:28 : Provoked by this potential threat, Byb launches a full scale invasion into Segyni, at the same time of the Ymach rebellion in Segyni. 2:47 : Just as the Segyni was destroyed, The territories captures by Byb form a stiff resistance against occupation, eventually becoming the Great Towoco. Exhausted by war, Byb cannot stop the revolt, and swiftly declines. The Fifth Era. 2:52 : For the second time in its history, the Byb just barely manages to cling to its existence. They slowly push the Towoco back, and slowly conquer the rest of the East. Eventually, the entire Eastern half of the world is once more under the control of Byb, bringing them to their peak. In the Western half, Ymach, Towoco, and the Ypuleb hegemony continue to try and conquer one another, the Ypuleb ending out on top. 3:34 : The Easternmost core cities of the Byb perplexingly secede from the greater nation of Byb. This is a grim milestone, marking the final fall of Byb. There will be no miraculous comebacks this time. 3:41 : The realm of the Wamora and the Holy Ekas theocracy begin to tear the Byb apart. The empire which has endured so much resists with all its might, yet it is ultimately useless in the end. The Sixth Era. 4:03 : Despite persevering through so much, the last Byb holdout is at last destroyed, and with it, the last empire which existed at the dawn of civilization. What was once it’s central lands are now divided into multiple kingdoms. In the wake of it’s end, there are now two nearly equal powers, the Wamora, and Wocew, one of the Western kingdoms which conquered much of the north and even stretched into the East. 4:16 The last of the Wocew is gobbled up by the Wamora, is if that were any indication of it’s power. It is a dark time. The entire world is engulfed in chaos, violence, and war. The Wamora are split and fractured by rebellion and other nations. 4:37 : After many rebellions and a large invasion by the Great Gy, the Wamora reach it’s lowest point in history, yet it rises from the ashes like the Byb was known to do, from its southern sanctuary is begins conquering the world. The Seventh Era. 5:00 : Humanity crawls it’s way back out of the dark age caused by the collapse of the Byb. No one is truly dominant over others, and there are multiple great powers in struggle with each other. Wamora, The Realm of the Cub, and Great Tiw are just some of the players in this period. 5:06 : The Wamora realizes its dream at last, and brings much of the world under one nation. Only a few others still resist. 5:09 : Becuase of hatred brewed towards Wamora, their wise leaders decide to allow some cities to become their own independent kingdoms without war, marking one of the only times in history where such was allowed. 5:20 : The Rylephe Kingdom Invades the Remnant of the Tiw, swiftly conquering them. 5:29 : The quickly growing Rulephe launches the largest invasion in history, an invasion against the Wamora while they are experiencing rebellions. This spells disaster for the Wamora, which folds under the pressure soon after. The Eighth Era. 5:38 : The Wamora empire is completely destroyed by the Rylephe, and they become a new superpower with military might never seen since the time of the Byb. 5:42 Just as quickly as it rose, Rylephe begins to fall The kingdom spend the second half of its short life in a constant war. 2 huge rebellions, The Badedu and the Ypyte, threaten the young nation. It fights a ferocious war, trying desperately to stop its end, yet it does not prevail. The Ninth Era. 6:06 : The Rylephe is destroyed. Because it wasn’t as long lasting as the Byb, it’s fall didn’t have the long lasting consequences that was the first dark age. Yet this small dark age is just as chaotic and violent as the first. But even now, the seeds of the next Era have already been planted. 6:17 : 2 powers now exist, as has occurred many times in this world’s long history. Unlike the rest of history however, their borders are confusing and erratic. They are the Badedu, and the Great Ewi. 6:26 : After peacefully coexisting for some time, the 2 empires engage in one of the largest wars in history, effect nearly everyone from the North, South, East, and West. Yet surprisingly, neither wins. The new Erylo Kingdom rises in the Far East, and taking advantage of the war, invades both empires. Rebellions occur in the west, eventually coalescing into a new theocracy, Holy Etoshi. 6:49 : Etoshi and Erylo divide the previous cities of the old empires. 6:55 : Holy Etoshi becomes the dominant power in this power game. The smaller Erylo Kingdom grows resentful of them. 7:10 : For the rest of its life, Etoshi experiences invasion and rebellion, which culminate in its downfall. The Tenth and current Era. 7:29 : Etoshi is finally swept under the rug, like so many of history’s great empires the Erylo Continues to exist, but faces adversity from the south. The world is full of young, eager nations, waiting to make history. What will the future bring for mankind and the world?

For those who ask about cultures, a culture is born when a person created by the player creates a kingdom and this only happened once so yes, all kingdoms had the same culture

I think it would be a lot more interesting if there was 1 or 2 large islands along this large continent. The simple fact of having a city that cannot be invaded directly could change how successful rebelions are, and where they would be most common.
If you wanted, I could make another 2 hour timelapse in an archipelago with lots of islands. Thanks for the suggestion :)

Byb reminds me of one of my kingdoms that controls the whole northern side(and an island a little bit west) that lasted for 200-300 years
The people of Byb were the Romans of this world. The longest lasting empire which I rooted for untill it fell.

I remember rebellions used to devastate the rebelling city's population, even if they easily lost, which was kinda huge. Also it's a lot different with multiple races, cuz instead of annexing them they try to wipe them out completely

The Byb held out for so long, they're worthy of the title of Bybzantine Empire.
WorldBox kingdoms seem really unstable, there wasnt a single one that managed to hold more than half the continent for any lasting period of time, in fact its almost as if that was the limit for how large they could get.
It would be cool if the developers did something about it
I mean in real life medieval kings before they could centralize their realms had to depend on nobility for soldiers and finance but I dislike how that isn't the case here. A kingdoms strength should depends on several factors like stability, bureaucracy, wealth, population, and the kings relations with his nobles. If I could add anything it would be bureaucracy while being super expensive would help greatly organize a kingdom and make it less prone to rebellions but at the high cost of gold.

True, while the revolution feature isn't bad I'd be lying if I said that "The Inn had a revolution in the same province for the 50th time today" didn't become a bit abnoxious.
Do a battle royale in a huge and detailed europe map with like 30-50 starting villages.

I wish Byb last till the end but i realize how big it was i just knew it there no way kingdom that big could last 2 hour like is massive there no way kingdom that size would be pretty hard to defend because we'll look at it it was too large it would take army long time get to front line

What's really interesting is that Phussy and Byb were the first empires to break off from Realm of the Apuphu and they BOTH collapsed in the exact same area
Bought this game on phone, was a blast, I probably will rebuy it on steam in the future.
The collapse of BYB was slow and painful, it reminded me the fall of eastern roman empire
Imagine being able to play as a single character in the world of WorldBox. With how drastically superpowers in the world shift, it would be really cool to just be a lone guy in a cabin in the woods somewhere, fishing, hunting, living life as the world progresses. Of course if you aren't a citizen of the major superpower in the world you would likely end up a target to some empire but that's part of the fun of just being another person in the world.
Perhaps the next time you go on vacation you could leave a gigantic model of the world running for however long you are out.
You should overview each kingdom after these time lapses like the culture list, the army of them and some other things like when the world started to now

My idea would to add more national events in the history like pleagos sent gd to yuva imperium and to expand the gold cap past 100 then make it so there's a set amount of gold in the world for example all gold minded miners would get half of that and people would get paid f9r doing things like working and pay taxes yearly with the gold and the economy would adjust based on the amount of gold like if there was 100 gold in the world then things would cost less bc there's less to go around
