For whatever reason Marx has a weird contrast in the song. He sings so erratically and out of nowhere has this moment of harmony when he sings "How dare I dare to dream" definitely my favorite part

What I love about this is that while madness ensue, each of these guys stays in character. Dimentio is the one leading the show, usually staying at the center of the attention and being the leading voice. Jevil is revolving around the whole screen, accompaning Dimentio with backing vocals and occasionally joining together with him on the stage, or even becoming the leading voice for a while. Marx is definitely the craziest one here, he's in the background screaming most of the time, but when he steps forward, he completely breaks the strange harmony created by Dimentio and Jevil, plunging the song into complete chaos. Then, when he steps back, the song reprises the chaotic yet beautiful harmony to moment where all the lyrics are on screen and you can't even follow everything that's happening at once. Mad props to Alex, he sings as three different yet similar characters in one song and you can definitely tell which one is singing, to Marc for the mixing, this one must have been a nightmare to mix, and to Steel for the sublime arrangement.

Mostly non-meme comment incoming: I really like what you did with the line from The Ultimate Show that goes "But a perfect world / Is within my grasp". This lyric makes perfect sense for Dimentio, since after somewhere between a month and three thousand years of planning, he finally has the Chaos Heart, the thing he needs to rewrite reality itself into his view of perfection. It'd be easy to have everyone else sing the same thing, but it makes a lot more sense for their characters not to. For Jevil, a perfect world "stays just out of grasp". He knows that his world is a fantasy, but that's perhaps the one thing he can't change no matter how he tries, even if he and the others can do literally everything else. Jevil will always be a fictional character (for the foreseeable future wink). Marx doesn't care about that. He just wants everything to burn. Sure, a perfect world is _technically_ within his grasp, but he'd much rather shatter and destroy it completely. anyway this is a great song this probably isn't lore but in my dreams this is lore
jevil is likely the smartest, while dementio is in second but to return has most power. marx is meh in comparison on both. jevil, weirdly, is the weakest.

Okay, so, picture this for a boss fight: Triple battle between these three, each with a seperate purpose in the fight. Dimentio as a ringleader of sorts acts as support, applying debuffs and status effects on you as you fight, throwing out attacks at the player as well but focusing mostly on messing you up. Jevil as the main damage dealer, throwing out a number of attacks at once that are fast and hard to avoid. Marx acts as the tank in this fight, throwing out massive damaging attacks like his black hole and eye attacks. Easy to avoid, but with all the stuff assailing you at once it acts as a means of limiting your movement area. So this, the order of defeating them comes down to you: take out the one who consistently limits your movement options? The one who keeps depowering your atrack, speed, and defenses? Or the one who's consistently throwing out attacks? Forcing you to make order of this chaos. Just a silly thought. ^^
Concordia Harmony keep in mind if Pearl from Off the Hook from Splatoon 2 was on their team, it would be game over, as Pearl is a evasive glass cannon (especially in the ending of the Octo Expansion DLC, with that Killer Wail enhancing her already powerful ear-bleeding singing voice (hence why she is a rapper and not a singer)), she would essentially bring the heroes to their knees, and although she is not a clown or a jester, she was the leader of Team Chaos in The Final Splatfest in Splatoon 2. In battle wise she could be an evasive glass cannon that also buffs her teammates in terms of morale and stat boosts. Oh and her hero counter part would be Marina, the other half of Off the Hook and the leader of Team Order in the Final Splatfest (though if im being honest the winner of the final splatfest of Chaos vs Order was in fact Team Chaos!)

I just want to say how perfectly these chaotic clowns were characterised. It all fits perfectly with who they are in the games and also in this trio. Dimentio is cold, elegant and calculating, a perfect theatrical strategist. So in a world of likeminded people he’s simultaneously the ringleader and the one who understands and adapts from his fellow clowns Jevil is devout in his belief that his insanity is true freedom, allowing him to see the sins of others whilst being sinless. So in this trio he’s the one who understands how powerful and how malicious they all are together. They fit perfectly into his worldview. Marx is just pure chaos incarnate. In this trio He’s the one who doesn’t understand the other 2s ideologies. He’s not in a self delusion about power or the nature of the world, he just wants more and more power and wants the other 2 to be just like him
I'd really like to see a reprise of this song but with Kekfa as a 4th party. Considering he's the forebearer to all Jaster themed villains and is pretty much a combination of all personality and motivation wise. He's a manipulator at the start of the game like Dimentio, completely nihilistic and has no sense of morality like Jevil, and his motivation is exactly like Marx.
Now I want to see all three interact and scheme. Four maybe if you include Kekfa.

Dimentio, Jevil, and Marx are basically my last 3 braincells fighting over full control over my body. They're all equally insane, and none are really better than another. One is more formal but still wants chaos. One is definitely insane and enjoys the hell out of it. And one microwaved a fork, and then ate it.

You know, when I think about it, while a lot of people say that these three would make a great team because of their personalities, I think there's much more than that. If these three did join forces(apart from the multiverse being screwed), they would actually get everything they wanted. Dimentio's main goal in SPM is to make a perfect world for him to rule, and considering that Jevil seems to have some level of omnipresence, as he can predict future events and see the "world" for that which it is: a game, he would be very helpful for Dimentio to keep around. Marx, meanwhile, serves a more basic purpose, being that with Marx's immense power (and without a weakness to the Pure Hearts), he could also help Dimentio obliterate anyone to oppose him. Marx's main goal was to get the wish-granting Nova to wish for the destruction of Popstar. It's very likely that, upon seeing other timelines, Marx would want to destroy them too, so having Dimentio, who, apart from being the most clever of the bunch, but is also _completely unstoppable_ in timelines other than his own, would be an excellent help. Jevil serves a similar purpose, to an extent, but Jevil's chaotic nature would likely lead into him and Marx getting along quite nicely (while obliterating e v e r y t h i n g of course). Jevil's main goal is even simpler than Marx's, being that he just wants to have fun and chaos. Jevil is a nihilist who sees himself as warden looking into a prison cell, of sorts, so he wouldn't really care what Marx or Dimentio did, so long as it entertained him. In fact, destroying and rewriting everything is exactly the type of thing Jevil would love because it is the only type of decision that would actually matter and thus, give Jevil the purpose he'd been waiting for for so long. Also, as Jevil says himself, "*BOO HOO, UEE HEE, HOW LONELY I BE." So having two people who would not only keep up with him, but understand "similar truths" to him, would be *very, very, i n t e r e s t i n g*

Jevil: Fully insane but not truly evil. Acts as he does for he understands that the reality he lives in is a simulation with no consequences. Seems to hold no true ill will for those caught in the collateral damage of his games, but will not show mercy until he feels the game has been won. Joined the clown trio because he saw no harm in allowing the other jesters to spread their idea of fun and thought that it would be a good pastime to assist them. Dimentio: Insane enough to go through with his evil plan. His goal is to become the unquestioned ruler of a new reality he plans to create after destroying the current one. Is a master manipulator that sees others as nothing more than puppets to assist in his plot and will betray or kill anyone if he thinks it will be to his advantage. Recruited the others because he saw them as useful tools to achieve his goal, and it doesn't hurt that they share an aesthetic. Marx: Insane to a point of nearly ascending to the next state of conciseness. Seeks nothing more than to destroy and devour everything around him in an unstoppable hedonistic frenzy. He is alarmingly sadistic, potentially even more so than Dimentio, and only spares those who immediately and directly can assist him. Only a member of this team because no one else has figured out that all you need to do to tame him is give him food.

I think this was originally just going to be a duet performed to the multiverse between Jevil and Dimentio, But Marx got word of it, found the script, and joined in uninvited, originally, the former twononly let him stay because they couldn’t get him out mid-show, but they eventually decided he was actually pretty dang good, and let him stay for the whole thing, and even let him join the duo, newly turned trio.

Holy crap, this monster is actually _better_ than the sum of its parts combined. Dimentio's overall pitch is altered but thus improved, Jevil's delivery is perfect harmony and more indulging, and Marx's bursts of energy complete the sense of, er... chaos. Dimentio - The most villainous. Pro: Has best lyrics. Con: Can be beaten blindfolded with one hand tied behind your back. Jevil - The most jesting. Pro: Has best voice. Con: You have like a 0.01% chance of finding him, and he fights like he's twenty men. Marx - The most chaotic. Pro: Actually appears for more than a single confrontation. Con: Has no clue what he's doing, and wears his strategies on both sleeves.
Dimentio can be beaten blindfolded? It's literally one of the strongest characters in the fiction lore-wise(though actual battle with him is indeed easy due to Pure Heart effect).

I love the slight variations the jesters have in the “But a perfect world” line because it shows you exactly what type of insanity the three have. Dimentio is given the line “But a perfect world is within my grasp!”, which obviously refers to his goals to destroy all worlds and create new ones where he’s the ruler. I mean, it should be rather obvious, given he was the one with the default “But a perfect world” line. Jevil says “But a perfect world stays just out of grasp!”. One good look into Deltarune lore (or just anything about Jevil) and you know that Jevil knows that everything in his world is just a game. That’s why a perfect world is out of grasp for him; he knows that even if he reaches that perfect world, none of it will be real. He uses this knowledge that nothing is real to do whatever freaky and chaotic acts he wants since he knows that if he gets punished, said punishment will not be real. Marx is interesting because he says “But a perfect world shatters in my grasp!”. Unlike Dimentio and Jevil, Marx is already living in what’s considered a “perfect world”, which would be Dreamland, the world known for friendship and peace (even if it constantly gets attacked by hellbeasts sometimes). However, rather than looking to rule over that perfect world like Dimentio, Marx is looking to destroy it. We see NOVA, the comet Marx wished upon, starts heading towards Popstar at full speed when Marx makes his wish, which seems to imply that Marx wanted NOVA to ram into Popstar, crashing into it and destroying it. TL;DR, Dimentio wants to rule the world, Jevil is a nihilist, and Marx wants to destroy the world.

It also demonstrates the level of insanity the three have Dimentio isn't really insane, he is purely in control at all times, he is a master manipulator to reach his goal, so it will be calm and collected Jevil is as you said, pretty nihilistic and views that nothing matters may as well go with a bang so about a 7 or 8 on the insanity scale where he is gruff and laughing in his pain(not to mention he technically isn't wrong in the story) And Marx...Marx is Marx wants to destroy everything in his way and laugh while doing so. That's kinda why throught the song he pretty much shouts DIE a lot he really doesn't have a goal or method to the madness like the others.
I think that Marx, judging from the line "Well... I want to control Popstar !" and the background of his fight, wants to turn Popstar into a sort of hellscape to play with, ending the perfect world.

The whole point of jevil is that he himself is a paradox . He is sane and smart in a few ways , but his overall character is insane ... Or is he ? My theory is that jevil is correct. The earth is like a cage. If we leave we will be killed , like in a high security prison. But when imprisoned for the amount of time jevil was , you can really feal safe knowing that you are free from the horror of the outside world
But , another theory I've just made is that jevil is secretly a fnaf animatronic. He can dance ( the idle pose ) he can sing ( both musicals for him ) he can even make [ ICECREAM ] .

The ironic thing is that if they all met, they'd probably hate each other. Dimentio wants to destroy all worlds to create a "perfect" one completely under his control, Marx wants to rule Planet Popstar specifically (automatically putting him and Dimentio at odds), and Jevil was driven mad by the knowledge that he exists in a game and sows chaos as a way to strike back against it and attempt to free others. He would definitely not get along with Dimentio.

Dimentio: just washes dishes normally Jevil: does it as fast and as chaoticly as he can Marx: makes his weirdness be a good thing and swallows the dishes and the soap and washes the soap around then spiting the dishes out when cleaned Also marx: eats the soap the sink and the dishes
it's been over two years and i still think this would be really fun to perform on a stage or something with friends. dimentio and jevil are mostly keeping it together and like working with each other but then marx is zipping around them most of the time, but then with like "how dare i dare to dream" marx could be in the center with dimentio and jevil on opposite sides, reaching to the skies but still probably upstage until "Onward we go, this is the ultimate show!" with marx breaking out of a "trance" and grabbing his cohorts (and subsequently being at the front for his lines before backing into line again) (i'd do it myself but that's also a lot of costume work because if you're gonna do it. costumes gotta be there it makes it more dramatic)
