  • Those cattle look like something you’d find out on the range. My friend that raises angus says he think maybe a Longhorn cross ?? The one little calf is really pretty but not as pretty as your Trinity. I’m a little concerned about all the hard work you have to do Lester. Saying prayers for the Lord to empower and give you strength.

  • Lester... that Bull reminds me of a MOVIE called The Brave ONE...is about a Spanish fighting Bull that got raised by one of the workers son because it's mother died giving birth in a thunderstorm... And YES that little one sure looks like a Deer... in the MOVIE Bambi , Bambi's little female friend is called Feline... That cow with the curled horn toward the eye, well she reminds me of a cow our neighbors once had her name was Annette she was the only cow out of a herd of 30 milk cow's with horns like that and Annette would let us ride her... J&L FARM is a lot of work yet so worth it ... LOVE Y'ALL on Morrow Hill ❤❤❤

  • Lester even if you make your fence good and strong if Toby can get through his fence that is still going to be a problem and one or the other will be hurt. And I mean that in a good way because you know how to just do what you need to do and make things work to get the job done and you get it done regardless of things that stand in your way.     • I think I remember him saying Tex wasn't gonna go to the JL Ranch. He said it was because Tex was too much of a miscellaneous, playful bull that likes to push his limits. He said he thinks Tex needs to be somewhere where he can keep his eyes on him most of the time.

  • Toby and the gang next door are adorable and seem friendly. You should try and contact the owner next door to ask permission to give them treats. They will make really neat new content for your page. Lester once you get the new property all cleaned up you should have a BBQ for your family there to give a tour of the new L&J ranch. Keep a side by side there to use. What are you going to do with that old camper?

  • Would any of those culverts help at LHL down by the river where it is washing out? Just a thought because I know those are not cheap. I am glad you noticed the bull before you started building your fence, I know you build a good fence anyway but better to know ahead of time, because that fence line looks rough

  • A channel called DIYfferent used one of those big culverts to make raised beds. They cut it into rounds and filled them with dirt.
