    • @@anthonytaylor7928 THANK YOU! Like, clean on ball steals and leading to transition offense on some of them. She was their great hope and tried to protect her so much to not even get a foul. The steal Raven had at the end of the quarter could've been defended to at least make her go to the line to take away a highlight and possibly confidence, even though the clock was low. She always played bad transition D whether she got ripped or jacked up a dumb shot. She's ALWAYS jacking up shots and making her team lose momentum because not only do you miss, it's a bad shot selection, so I can't get in position for an O board because no one would predict anyone taking such a stupid shot in an important game🙄

When Ryan said during one of the final four games this year that Jason/Ted had been involved in wbb the past few years (or did he say a couple?), I was like, "What?" I felt disrespected.

    • He's crying because of his half ass assessment of rebounding from a basketball camp 🥴🤣. Rodman is my fave player for a reason. Over the back is jumping over the back of the opponent when you're out of position. Boxing out and positioning is fundamental and essential to a great rebounder, but it does not guarantee the board. Height and vertical plays a role when you're out of position, but you can either reach or leap over your opponent. I'm glad he went somewhere crying for being a fake fan😂

  • I have some concerns with the WNBA 2024 national broadcast tv/stream schedule that seeks to capitalize on Clark's popularity but in doing so also attempts to influence the national WNBA audience to be Indiana Fever fans like it was influenced last year to be New York Liberty fans. The focus on NY made marketing sense, they built a superteam in effort to capitalize on the NY market and those of us watching from elsewhere also got to watch the superteam through its season. NY is an enormous market compared to Indiana so the decision to put Indiana on the national schedule even more than NY, LA, and Chicago is a marketing fail so to make this work, all existing WNBA fans are now supppsed to have a sudden high intetest in Indiana speficallly because of Clark and/or the league is expecting an influx of millions of new fans with high interest in Indiana specifically because of Clark. I have two things to say about this. First, as an existing WNBA fan, I wholeheartedly welcome Clark to the league but I am not intetested to watch Fever games more than I am to watch Seattle Storm games. Storm are the Pacific Northwest team, my home team, so I want to see all of their games but I am not intetested to see as many Fever games despite Clark. I would like to see a fairer distribution of national broadcast games but I would expect the broadcast schedule to be heavier on NY, LA, Chicago, and even Phoenix games due to size of the market in those cities. I guess this is tension between existing WNBA fans and people who are Caitlyn Clark fan newbies to the W fan base suddenly being given privilege over us to decide which teams get the national tv games. All these new fans are good for the league, so I will not complain any more about this aspect. Second, it may be an enormous mistake for the WNBA to be rebranding itself as the Caitlyn Clark league but I do understand trying to introduce Clark fans to other WNBA teams and players while also trying to maximize ratings. However, this puts a lot on Clark's shoulders that is unfair to ask a rookie to carry and while I still expect Clark to make a fairly smooth transition to the pros, I am greatly concerned about the potential of the WNBA to increase scripting of games to ensure Indiana victories and Clark point production to keep up viewership of new and existing fans. To summarize my view, putting Indiana in the national tv schedule is good but should probably have maxed out at 25 games. What happens if Clark goes out with an injury? Are we all still supposed to be Indiana fans? Moreover, I am greatly concerned of the marketing/profit motive that may cause increased scripting of games to ensure Clark outstanding stats and Indiana victories that WILL NOT help Clark continue development as a player nor Clark's teammates -- Clark will not get even better as a player, which is supppsed to happen in the pros, if gifted victories and stats rather than being challenged to reach a higher level of play. WNBA is NOT professional wrestling. Let's keep it that way or it will lose its entire audience when exposed as a fraud and it would certainly be exposed because the players will certainly leak it now or later because each player in the pros has an individual profit motive that puts them in competition for team salary and endorsements against one another. The group interest of increasing league revenue so all salaries increase has to be balanced with the individual interest of profit from salaries and endorsements that is dependent upon player performance versus other players. Asking other players to tank so Clark can become super wealthy while they are not offered endiorsements is not going to work.

    • Your joking right?, where have you been the last 3 months, all year, Iowa on average have shot 15 more free throws a game than its opponent, and in the March tournament, an average of 10, remember the WVU game, where Iowa shot 30 FTs to WV 5, and in the last 2 minutes of that game it was tied up, and Iowa shot 14 FTs to WV 0, and the UCONN game, forget about the ofensive foul with 4 seconds left, i say it was a foul, but what you don't hear, is in the last 4 minutes of that game, UCONN had 4 other off fouls called on them, to Iowa 0, and you claim that the refs was against Iowa, outside of Iowa fans and SC fans, you are in a very small minority, just keeping it real, maybe Iowa would of done better, if Caitlin did not panic in close games down the streach, and throw up bricks, and play some def.

S Carolina deserved more talk too, but every compliment from Taurasi towards Iowa sounds backhanded. She comes off as resentful. She appeared truly panicked after Affolter cut it to 5 after her and 1 as she made her comment that suggested Iowa was going to win. THATS why the WNBA has struggled with popularity. You have a GOAT like her who likes to talk down on anyone/anything that might threaten the old guard. Uplift these young women. They’re the future of your league!
