Discovered rings a couple weeks ago. Good lord I love those things. So harsh, and so effective!
Are you a beast now at ringd
9:58 Ah, a free camera... Oh wait...
lool
You play dark souls huh
i entered the comment section just to find a joke about that moment, so thank you.
Dope video! Very inspiring Lindsay!
Hopping to see you in Barcelona! Dude here are a lot of ppl admiring ur work
I love this! I’m a female (former gymnast) starting to move in calisthenics so it’s so great to see females doing these kind of workouts
As a fellow male cal athlete,I respect it.
Simply inpiring! And performed in under 11 minutes... no filler, just straight to the point. Thank You Lindsay!
this woman is strong. without the edition, this is nonstop 30 minutes of ring workout
"No kicking, this is calisthenics, not crossfit" ;p
*Kipping. :)
Lol! I’d love to see cross-fitters do strickties.
lol... that was an awesome burn..
@@misteranderson777 I see them all the time my CrossFit Box...
@@misteranderson777 I think Crossfitters train both. Strickties for strength and the kipping pull ups to improve efficiency in competition.
So I got my rings last Saturday and and ring muscle up was one of my first goals. I was finally able to get it today! You're video definitely helped with my process. Thanks for that and keep up the good work!
thank youuu for these vids!!! i just recently discovered you and training my body as a beginner into calisthenics from weight lifting in the gym which became boring to me and needed a new challenge! so this is perfect and you are just really cool to watch! x
Really appreciate the additional front lever exercises at the end!
You’re super strong! I can’t wait to try these! 💪🏾
This is probably the best video showcasing exercises on rings
Very instructive and motivating, Lindsay. Again, thank you for sharing. My wife has a body frame close to yours when starting in this dicscipline (calisthenics) and watching your vids and your strenght motivates her much into the practice and learning of this marvelous world of calisthenics.Great work. Two thumbs up!
Informative, organized, well explained, beautifully filmed. Thank you so much.
That is so impressive. Just one video for all levels. Sorted.
You are just wonderful at teaching right to the point!
Enjoyed the vid. I love the feeling of decompression from just hanging! Nice content 👍🏼
5:20 -If you tight your grip and squeeze your core you wouldn't swing and twist 9:11 -It is always important to use full range of motion... 9:50 -Keep the body straight while doing negatives Hope this helped someone👍
When we've not yet become able to do full range of motion it is very important to do partial range of motion. We progressively develop more range of motion until full ROM is mastered.
Nice work Lindsay. 👍💪
amazing as always and so strong.
Thank you very much!!! I bought these rings a week ago and so far this is the best video to start working out with them ( from 20 other videos on youtube ). tommorow i'll watch it again and try it out :)
Are you a beast now
Wow, great content, keep it up! Pure gold!
This video was so informative for when I start using rings here soon! Great job you were awesome
Amazing compilation of exercises thank you!
Thanks for sharing... this is exactly what I need to build more strength, as I am struggling with the rings. I can only do the rows at moment but will persevere.

This woman is an absolute unit
Now I understand... Australian, and I wondered about the chilled approach on these challenging exercises . It´s calisthenics, for sure ;) Many thanks!

Thank you this is very straightforward
Your control is amazing. this was a cool video!
Thanks!
Great video! Looking to add ring exercises in my workout routine so i'm a beginner. I would love a solely beginner's video from you if you don't already have one up.
Rings are one of the best equipments ever
good job, i’m stuck in the front lever too, but happy with my progress so far.
Just the tutorial I had been looking for 💪👌
Awesome work
Super impressive. Great stuff
Awesome video. Thanks for sharing!
Great form, great shape, great vid. Thank you.
Great video! Bought some rings some time back and it's a great investment. 💪
You’re very strong! Great video. Thanks!
Getting into rings now after years of calisthenics. Nice video. Looks like im starting at an intermediate or even advanced level :)
Superb video, very good !
Excellent video, thanks!
Good work! Turn the inside of the wrists out on the top of a dip;it’s good for you! And explain the false grip and the transition on a muscle up! No pull up or dip work will help anyone do a muscle up smooth and slow without a false grip and the details of the transition! Cheers!
Yassss!!! No kipping! I love it.
FINALLY! An actual beginner video for rings. Just got into rings and most of the "beginner workouts" are not beginner workouts haha. Thanks!
She is far too strong to be considered a beginner
Found you on IG and here you are. Welcome lindslayyy
Excellent work! Thats what I'm talking about. Just starting my serious ring journey. So glad yo have come across this video. You're definitely rocking things. Respect! And inappropriate hug 🤗 ha
4 yrs ago, wow! How's the journey been going. Ill definitely be checking out your page.
Excellent video for a beginner. Thanks
Thank you so much for sharing this! I just got a set of rings and the beginner progressions other people were showing weren't so beginner friendly lmao
Well done! 👍
Thank you for this list!
I love the gradual progression. Well executed Well explained I hope you have the warm up part somewhere. Thank you so much. ^_^
very good video and very I am very impressed by your strength and coordination
thank you for sharing!!
This is amazing, you're so strong and controlled. Definitely going to go on the rings next time I'm at the gym!
That is one super strong woman!!! Very impressive.
Very impressive. My rings are on order!!
Amazing!
Great work 🤙
very beautifully explained ...thank you
Dope, got a few exercise ideas on my rings from this. That's Wassup!
Awesome!!
awesome! thanks for the vid. If able, would it be possible to do a pre/post streching routine for us beginners? keep rockin!
You are amazing, great tutorial.
I’ve been looking for a correct video to follow, I appreciate your camera skill.
05:25 when you go into a one arm hold, try spreading the legs and the other arm, it'll keep you from spinning.
and engage the core.
Thank you for the video, I recently started to work with rings and your explanations are very helpful. You remind me of Gina.
GAROTA, sou sua fã!! Você é uma das maiores inspirações pra mim sobre mostrar que uma mulher pode treinar tão pesado quando um homem!! Mimimi é para barbies , guerreiras encaram 💪🏻
Aah...unfortunately not, kkk, just a bit of english , i’m from Brasil
Nice work!!Thanks
I love the rings!! Of course I do CrossFit, i can do kipping ring muscle ups, i know I have the strength to do a strict ring muscle up, it’s the turn over at the top I can’t seem to grasp, that’s my biggest goal right now is the strict ring muscle up ❤
can you make more fitness how-tos on gym rings. this is so good thank you
I follow you on instagram and didn't know you were on youtube! Great vid, subscribed :)
Great video
The lower down you hold on your wrist for one handed assisted pull-ups the harder it is. Good way for steady progression
Thanks so much for the tutorial. I have just started on rings at age 44. I found that I could do tucked skin the cats right from the get-go but everything else is crazy tough. Looking forward to practicing following your video, Aloha.
Have you kept doing the workouts?
@@privatepyle6529 yes I have, I love my rings.
impressive stuff, you are strong. I have been doing bodyweight for a long time but just purchased some rings. i am limited on what i can do on them sadly due to having them setup in my basement.
Yeah, gangbusters vid. Thank you a lot Lin.
Great video.
I liked very much this workout, thanks for sharing...
I like watching women doing exercises that I can't do. NO, not for that reason. It's HUMBLING and INSPIRATIONAL. It motivates me at age 75 to keep pushing and working out. It's amazing how many muscles that weightlifting MISSES - especially those muscles used in supporting the body as on rings or parallel bars. I've been using a set of small parallel bars to improve my shoulder strength and just got in a set of rings. I should make some quantum leaps in shoulder strength with those two items. Thanks for the great video and advice.
you are still alive? 78 is the age of death!
@@defaultworkouts I'm still at it. I just bought myself a high bar and I am amazed at all the muscles I've missed doing "normal" weight-training exercises. I'm beginning to think that my large mid-section isn't just fat - it's sagging ab muscles. It's one thing to do knee-ups on parallel bars but quite another to do them on a high bar. I did rows with weights so why are my lats so weak on the high bar? Oh, it's fear of dying that keeps me going. I see so many Christians proudly (arrogantly) proclaiming that when they die that they're going to Heaven and be with God. Me, I've got my doubts no matter how much I embrace what Jesus offered. I don't think arrogance gets you into Heaven. So, for as long as possible, I'll stay in the known world that I'm familiar with.
@@STBRetired1 you're my hero. Can I have your fb account please? Do you post vids for followrs or something? Thanks
@@user-iw9ul2wn7r I've recently passed 79 and still going strong. I started adding stationary biking and outside running to my routine. Found a whole bunch more muscles that I haven't been using for a long time. Of course at 79, I don't do social media. Don't even have a cell phone. I know, I know, it's impossible to live without a cell phone. Just a skill I picked up for the 40 years I lived before they were invented.
Cool! I just got some but I only knew the first exercise, LOL. So thanks!
Good stuff! This is a tough workout for sure. I usually do about 15 minutes of skillwork on rings per workout but may start dedicating full days to it. Do you find you need to cut out "back" days in training to accomodate more ring volume?
