What a beautiful example of true sportsmanship. Ariana does not need the gold medal, her heart is made of the stuff.
That's BS
It's not a sportsmanship, it's stupid and cheating!
Easiest thing to do in the world. Lol so pathetic how you kids dont know that lol
@@bowens9211 to run a whole marathon and then help your neighbor finish the race, yeah that's the EASIEST thing to do. Yeah makes sense
They were in different races, the younger woman was in a relay while the older lady was in an actual marathon
Cant believe she let her finish first, she has a lot of heart
This is the height of stupidity. Doctors were supposed to help her
@@DavidMos385 that is what I was thinking. She might have got a stroke or something. Even doctors want to wait till she finishes. Stupidity to the core. On other hand that girl helping her to finish is real gold 🥇.
Она ей не давала быть первой. Эта подлая женщина просто нагло сорвала ленту, а девушка - герой этого не ожидала, посмотрите внимательно на реакцию девушки - героя.
Clearly she could see that's all the girl cared about
This was stupid. The lady who collapsed was selfish.
That girl who helped should be given a medal for a true sportsmanship displayed.
Much respect to that woman.
Yes
Easiest thing to do in the world. Lol so pathetic how you kids dont know that lol
I am citizen of Ethiopia ,however iam proud of so much the woman helped her . May the Almighty God bless her abundantly
Bowens92 did you just call another person pathetic while making that retarded comment
@@bowens9211 I'm genuinely curious what kind of disorder you have? You've made this same exact comment somewhere else in this reply section. What are you trying to achieve? Your point still stands futile because you provide absolutely no in depth reasoning besides calling people kids and saying its the easiest thing to do. I truly hope you get yourself diagnosed or figure out whatever you are dealing with. Have a good day.
"She's gunna be fine" -Wheeles her around- "I thi- uh we've seen this before" LMAO.
hahahaha
That's her strategy
Seriously right. Yaaaaa shes fine
I guess both of them cared about getting to the finish line more than the medals because touching another runner is automatic disqualification
@mksrookies not sure if this is true but if you get any help from people outside of the marathon you'll get disqualified. That's why they didn't help her till she finished crossing the line
@mksrookies yes the staff or outside people cant help at all! That means medical treatment or water unless shes at a station or finish
mksrookies just all of yall stfu fr she was helping her stop shamin her just cuz she got or idk if she got DQ’d
It's only an issue if another runner decides to be a douchebag and challenge the results.
Thats BS how is that a DQ?
The "second place" won the heart of many, including mine.❤💐💐💐
It looks like the brunette, even tho she was tapping out, STILL didn't want the blond to finish before her. 😆
😆you saw that too😆
totally lolol
I knew I wasn’t tripping 😭😭
Yes kinda selfish lol
Yeah Beth I know she’s exhausted . But I would have pushed her to win. It was like she was in competition still with the person trying to help her.
Thats me doing my best to get through this semester
Also me except i dont have the help
When you're five and your parents say it's bedtime lol 😂
The way the lady in the blue singlet helped her finish the race is a champion with a big heart, well done ladies
Putting competitive drive aside, the high school runner's decision to aid her struggling rival to the finish line embodied the highest ideal of sportsmanship.
My eyes shed tears after seeing this...true humanity never look ahead for him or herself.... surroundings and step down people will always be protected in their arms.... A big round of applause 👏👏
They are both true winners. One pushed herself way beyond her limits and the other sacrificed the win to help a fellow out even if it meant 2nd place. That’s what being human is about.
This clip is so beautifull, you can see the pain on her face but give up was not a possibility. Thank you Blonde Hero for helping this brave woman. Both deserve the best.
you go, ariana! 🌻 that was one of the most beautiful displays of compassion and kindness that i have ever seen. 💕
Love seeing that, that's great sportsmanship when she got in the wheelchair she looking like she was ready to go into the light.
"TRUE SPORTSMANSHIP!"
Tremendous example of sportsmanship and humanity
Thats a true sports lady ! Bless her for that! Im happy for both ladies, wow!
She reaches for the line with her hand to be sure she was first. I would have give the win to the girl that helped me finish the race. 👎🏻
Innit
Exactly. She was trying to push the other one away to be first. Ewe
Sounds Logic but youre Not thinking, when youre exhausted Like that, she was Just Happy to Reach the Goal, in the end it doesnt matter, whos First, anyway i guess there were other Woman before
@@robertuzumaki5974 it's a competition so it should matter who's first. Seems a bit disgraceful for her to reach her hand for the finish line when being helped.
Ya she’s Totally worried about taking first Instead of just touching the finish line so she could let herself collapse
The blonde one helped her, and the only thing she cared was to win, not even a "thanks", she deserved to lose
She was collapsing from exhaustion. She wanted to get the banner down so it would just be over with. If your legs were giving out every 3 steps, you'd reach out your arm from total fatigue too. If you notice when she gets put in the wheelchair she totally passes out and is gone. I'm sure she thanked her when she was back to normal.
She just wanted to let crowd know that she had gotten it over with. Don't find negativity..
she doesn’t even hesitate for a single second! what a good and kindhearted person!!
An act of kindness that brought tears to my eye
What a wonderful person. I wish I have met her in my life . We need that kind of person in this cruel world
This is a cruel world indeed.
I like to see marathon runners help each other to finish the race🏅
Fan Beat cheated
But it's not a true measure of ability, this implies she's not fit enough to complete this race...
Достоина уважения таким поступкам браво бай бог ей здоровье
Wow, such an amazing display of great sportsmanship!
I could feel this completely, i didn't run marathon but the half one . My first run was so painful , couldn't walk normally and felt pain after 2 or 3 weeks still. Big respect for both runners 💪
RESPECT!
Almost shed a tear, Huge respect !
Great job ladies!! Pure heart and sportsmanship.
As lágrimas desceram na hora. Isso é solidariedade. Ela já é uma heroína só por esta atitude.
so...who wins the prize the girl being helped or the girl helping her?
Marathons organize themselves into age groups, so the hobbled woman likely won her division. The younger girl already had people in her division finish before her.
being helped one won.
"ANG" too many shallow people can't figure it out because their attitude gets in the way
They already won even before crossing the finish line.
This girl who helped was running the last leg of an elite high school relay, the woman she helped was the the winner of the women’s marathon.
Wow!! 🙌🏻 This is just pure gold
0:02 me in math exam
Sadly relatable
And sadly there is noone to carry you...unless...?
The woman who helped her is the true hero, giving her position to the woman.
@cyoungrun1 you always steal my glory in every KZhead video I comment on how do you find me...
Hero? Its sport!!!
@cyoungrun1 I like you too
Thanks for the comments Notorious PIG.....lol
Read the description. They were running different races, that’scwhy the blond girl was still so fresh.
I feel the same way after eating chipotle trying to reach the bathroom
Definition of legend right here
THIS IS THE ESSENCE OF SPORT 🙏❤️🙏
Very beautiful scene!
Legs exe. Stopped working!!
hahaahha
Oh My God... I start crying.. That's amazing
This is great!!! When sports are Humanized through fantastic behaviors of GREAT athletes...🌹🌹🌹
Lightning McQueen did it first
Lol I was thinking theexact same thing bruh
Respect
you can not trade anything like this of feeling, such a incredible young lady
This...this for everyone...this is what we all need. Why can't we all be like this beautiful person. Let's give a hand up...we're all in this together.
Arianna! You are the winner 🥇 God bless you 🙏🏻 🙏🏻 🙏🏻
Reminding me of cars 1 when McQueen helped the other car in
God bless the lady that helped her if it wasn't for her she might not have made it. God job to both of you!
Very inspirational. Never, never, never, never Quit!!!!!
Is it just me or did the one being helped just wanted to win the race??
She did but i don’t blame her winning a marathon like that can be life changing. The amount of reward money and it opens up a lot of doors in the future. She probably lead the whole race and her body crapped out at the end she probably deserved it.
They weren't on the same division.
It's just you being an idiot, yes.
warmantan studios now no offense to anybody, this was a great and very good sportmanship moment for the younger athlete. For the lady that just ran herself down... you said it yourself. She crapped herself out by the end. There is no deserving of who wins in races. Everyone has trained hard. Her management wasn’t up to par this day
So does that mean the woman who helped her win as no 1 in the younger division?
I'd like to see this edited with a war scene.
someone needs to make that!!!!!!
Ariana (the blue girl) deserve more credits! Awesome sportsmanship! This video is her gold medal!
That is true sportsmanship
0:46 so did she just steal the win?
Selfish
Don't know anything about the rules but reading the comments it seems that they were not competing in the same categories. So she stole nothing. But the moral question was interesting.
@Robert Rogers DON'T YOU DARE QUESTION MY LOVE FOR HUMANITY PUNY SELFISH KNOW-IT-ALL
@Robert Rogers lol
0:45 she thought the woman helping her was going to drop her and get 1st place.
Not how that works they aren’t in the same age group

Best comment 😂
Hahahaha 😂😂😂😂😂
Lmao
What a astonishing finish
This is the no quit some people have inside them. These are the true champions. To overcome and push as your body fails is phenomenal. You're body just ceases to work correctly and it is a horrible feeling. Most people never truly experience this.
so this is what passes for heroic nowadays, that was like me at the mall yesterday
evancortez2 😂😂😂
Now now
if that's true, then god bless u for that
@@user-gc2yw4pz5h no she isn't

It's wonderful! Win for both.
The dislikes are all the other runners that could not finish the marathon.. BIG UP TO THAT RUNNER❤
Just imagine when you've been walking around an amusement park, running all day. That's legit what her legs feel like. She'll be okay
That's what We need in this difficult world and time the We are living.
That beautiful respectful, I been help a guy who tired get line but I pull Blair up then He and I reach the line! I has gold medal for helping him..I gave Blair gold medals
Boy....... I had a marathon experience like that once, where after running 6:05 minutes pace for 22miles...... I hit the wall and it took me a death walk of hour and a half to cover the remaining 4.2miles......Boy, did that hurt or what. Afterward, I had to drive home. I guess that sometimes you just have to keep going even if you are on empty.
WOW respect!!
Oh my god, so brutal!!
Well apparently, the next finisher was kind enough not to contest it, so lets be sure to throw her in the pot of Heroes!
We want more people like this woman 👏
That's the sportsmens spirit👍
Мы рождаемся не для рекордов,мы должны оставаться людьми.

I ran a marathon before and it was the worst experience of my life running 26 miles is a long way if you do the math that mean you’re average minutes is between 5-7 minutes per mile. What takes you to drive 30 minutes takes 2 hours to run that same distance 😳 I give it to those people who can run these and not be in pain.
Darrion Take Weak. I ran 100 miles before at a 4 minute per mile pace.
He is obviously joking :D
It's about 6:35 pace. My PR is 2:53:19 which is just about what she ran. This is questionably DQ material in my book though. If this were a larger race such as Boston or Chicago she most certainly would have been disqualified.
killashags yeah, I watched this race and she kept pulling her arm away from the younger girl at first maybe for that very reason. She won by such a large margin a DQ would have seemed harsh anyway.
I would stop not even haft way
Beautiful Sportsmanship
That lady was trying her best at running. I was so proud of her.
lightning Mcqueen would be proud ;')
The spirit of going hand in hand without taking advantage of others' misfortune makes america great! God bless america and both marathoners! Truly inspirational!
I have watched it over and over again. To me this is the most humanely best scene i have seen this year. God bless both ladies
Both were running different races :)
we need more people like this in the whole universe
thankyu world for this spirit
Who cares. The girl helping her id the winner in her heart. Nothing can replace that. Helping someone else in that way. She must be proud
Actually she couldve cost her the race. Appatently, the next finisher was kind enough not to contest it, She brings the whole story full circle.
1 million dollars can (that was the prize)
Legend goes she's still in the wheelchair

Respect and ♥ from core of my Heart 👏
Sportsmanship is always the way to go
This is human being
Yup, cheating.
Это ж надо быть такой неблагодарной! Я в шоке.
Согласна! Дрянь 👎
Human kindness. Such a novelty now.
There are still kind people on earth
I had something similar happen to me. I was in a marathon and at about two miles into the race my legs were hurting and I felt miserable. I probably should have trained a little and maybe even quit smoking. But someone came by on a tandem bicycle and saw that I was in distress. I climbed on the back seat of the bike. We passed up countless runners. We stopped about a 100 yards of the finish line. I got off the bike, walked across the finish line to a ninth place finish. A few people complained, as though I were illegally aided. But most people could see that it was a case of sportsmanship.
Three O Five the story would have been better had you smoked a full pack of cigarettes and had a few beers along the way.
😂😂😂
It's Just Like Cars The Movie.
Que grande esta chica. Me hizo recordar los gestos solidarios de la chuqui bullrich en argentina.
I love this so much though, so proud
