From the Dirtball Archives: Standing Straight Ankle Lock

Recently uncovered archival footage of an old Dirtball technique. The move is a sambo-inspired single leg takedown to straight ankle lock, likely taught to the Dirtball by an ex-Iron Curtain Sambo Master of Sport, either that or a crazy homeless guy in Brooklyn. Maybe they were one in the same. The Dirtball can't remember.

The leg stomp is key!
Second only to stomping the groin in effectiveness!
Reusable toilet paper!
Old school, still dirty
Taught to me by an ancient Dirty Bast*rd

Thought I’d already commented here…I can’t see me doing this one. I’m to be 50 in three weeks, a blue belt who started around 45. Can’t see having the speed and agility on guys half to a third my age. Maybe if they pull guard. Nice technique, though.
I hear you. I get this once in a while when I pass standing up. The leg stomp is a plus!!
