This is the consequence of living in a globalist world where people care more about what's going on half a world away than concentrating on all the things that are wrong in the UK such as the cost of living, high taxes, low wages, people being made redundant, lack of housing, an NHS that's in crisis etc. We let our own country's problems fester and get worse whilst arguing about what's going on abroad. As my nan would always say "Stick to your own knitting". Let other countries get on with what they want to do and we should concentrate upon the problems here in the UK. Simple.

how is it even possible you can be sanctioned for 4 weeks by Jobcentre, when you are late for app and that is your first sanction? This never happen when you are late for work. Trade union may have major flaws and huge restrictions imposed on them by legislation, but they are sometimes the only thing that’s going to help you keep your job when your employer doesn’t want you working for them anymore

@@user-ty5ys2zz8d some do some don’t, the law has changed by the tories for obvious reasons about their own personal interests, about whether member fees automatically go into something a Labour affiliated union can use to support the Labour Party, that can’t happen now, as a member you need to actively opt into that arrangement with the union. But there lots of unions that aren’t affiliated with the Labour Party like the RMT so it would never go to the Labour Party if you became a member there for example

Did some reading and turns out that there are a few schools of thought with communism, the super restrictive and oppressive stalinist and maoist regimes that took hold in the 40s and 50s in russia and china, and then there's marx and lenin, who basically solely fought for the freedom of working class people from the ruling class of bureaucrats and politicians
