I have a feeling we get dummied on Saturday
is it because every time we have a gut check game we choke?
JD is the best
1959 was the last time Toronto beat Boston in a playoff series. Is this finally the year?
I would've tried marner at C and put him with Nylander then drop Tavares to the third line. We had time to try this out when marner came back and Keefe dropped the ball.
can you guys PLEASE make all of the jd bunkis podcasts available on video
Go Leafs go! At least for now - Leafs are undefeated in this year’s playoffs. 😀
Bunkis should do his podcast in his Leaf onesies.
Good coaching, great coaching, inspirational coaching. Coach Keefe MUST inspire greatness in his team and the Leafs fans that support them. Every team has issues. It is the COACH that makes ALL the difference.
Keefe has been out coached every playoff series
You’re delusional if you think the leafs defense is the same as the bruins
(As a leaf fan) These guys are sometimes idiots. They look thin at center? 4 centers at 6′3″ - 6′4″ 220+ LB, 17 or more goals. Yeah real thin /s. I realize they play one of those guys at wing on the 3rd line but that gives them 2 guys at 6′3″ 220lb with 17 or more goals each on the third line. Pretty sure the Leaf's 3rd line wont look that good.
This was supposed to be a "maybe they make the wild card" type year for Boston. They've had AHL call ups all year and they have this type of record. Last year Ullmark and Swayman had ZERO playoff experience in net. It will be an interesting series. I'd imagine for Toronto fans, over coming the Bruins in the first round would feel like they broke a curse
The Leafs are the worlds best shinny hockey team.
Maybe next year leafs ... u need a goalie
I'm not saying the Leafs win, but what did having a goalie get Boston last year?
From a Habs fan, Go Leafs Go!! Matthews for MVP 👊🏼
Canadian teams gotta stick together at this point.. bring the cup back to canada!!!
@@dylanm9981 exactly, go get em boys in blue 💙
why jd so worked up about kucherov lol. bro is in his head absolutely rent free
If Leafs don’t win I’ll be surprised. If Bruins win I’ll be shocked. Go Bruins!
Brodie is who we should really be worried about.
Leafs in 5 games
Bruins in 7
Let’s go another episode, the boys are buzzin!
Edtior?
Listen if Matthew's marner and Nylander Play on the outside their done again. They got to go in those dirty areas .
Jarnkrok 86playoff games 5 goals, he will be a non-factor. The guys that can cause havoc around the net are going to be important Bert, Knies and McMann have to get to the front of the net at all cost. JT needs to grow a pair or give up the C next season. San Jose did it to Joe Thornton so why can't the leafs do it to JT.
bruins in 5
Bruins in 4
Boston in 4. Calling it right now.
People have been saying that for years, they've never been swept, you going to put money on it or just being edgy online?
@@leaf16nut ahhhh but the leafs always find a new novel more humiliating way to lose
@@leaf16nut Go on betting sites or something. My bet is already in. 😌
Wow you have such intelligence 😂
@@leaf16nut Go on betting sites or something for that. My bet is locked in for a while now.
Mirtle's annoying when he points out JD's monologues. It's radio, goofball, you're supposed to talk. We LIKE his monologues.
more pressure on Bruins re g7, especially after last yr; leaf fans are predisposed to fail, so they’ll be really happy with an upset, which i think they’ll win; then again i’m a Kings and Flyers fan.
Is the chase better than the catch?....lol
I think the best players in this series are: Matthews > Pasta > Marner > Marchand (playoff Marchand not regular season) > Willy > Mcavoy > Rielly and then everyone else... This series is going to be tight and fun to watch for sure! As for second and third lines, I think Toronto has the edge in forwards, but not by much and Boston has the edge on Defense but not by much.
you had marner over playoff marchand? Playoff Marchand should be #1 on this. by far the most dominant/consistant.
@@TheFriendlyNoob Marner is better stop kidding yourself. He's played his worst hockey ever the last 3 games.
@@stevenlopez1717 delusional
@@TheFriendlyNoob By the way, regular season Marchand doesn't even make this list...
@@stevenlopez1717 prime marchand had better seasons then both… and he’s 35 still outproducing all your stats when it matters most. 26pts in his last 15 playoff gp.
JD talking about secondary scoring knowing all the primary scoring will disappear soon
Blaming secondary scoring is a bold choice when paying half the cap for 4 players
Negative nothing 😊
First round loss almost guaranteed. Their biggest problems were not secondary scoring and toughness. They're consistent goaltending and good defence. Until those are addressed, they'll never make it far in the postseason.
Another first round ending for the Maple Leafs they will fall down again the Bruins will come out hard-hitting and the Leafs will cry in the corners just like usual they don't have no toughness on their team whatsoever
The Leafs are going nowhere. They wont get past Boston.
Ahh JD is lost...there is award for the most goals...its a over all stats
jd bunkis aka buttkiss aka bupkis just likes to hear himself talk
