I've not been one to plea for Pepe to start, but in a time when we desperately need goals he looks the most clinical in front of goal.
Could play alongside Martinelli and change positions if needed, I’d rather have him as a striker knowing he will take a shot when he has a chance. The formation should be 3-4-2-1
Unfortunately he loses possession all the time. And never passes the ball.
@@BigFatSouvlaki he doesn’t have to pass much when he is playing as a striker, we just need a clinical finisher up front until end of the season
Saka at LB then Pepe at RW, that way we can keep our system that works. Just bring in Lokonga for Partey
He has always been our best goal/assister besides auba and in crucial games. Assists that one us an fa cup as well.

That would be too much of a change, the boys wouldn’t be used to it. I think the best formation would be what we currently have, but with Martinelli as ST, Cedric as LB, White as RB, Holding as CB, Pepe as RW, Saka as LW

@@thebignoz maybe, considering the 3 CB's and the double 9, but they still can have possession of the ball with that many people on midfield to impose their typical style of play, Pepe and Martinelli upfront can be really dynamic with one centralizing while the other drops to the side or a little lower and Ø has a lot of options to pass forward and maximize his creativity. Yeah it could be an aggressive change but i think is a good option to try with the players Arsenal has right now.
@@bandaemmanuel1 Not really. Martinelli Pepe Odegaard Saka Xhaka Lokonga Cedric Gabriel Holding White Ramsdale. Its the same as what we currently have but with a couple position changes. I havent changed the actual formation, which is what I was indicating was a big change.

I realised,Mo elneny even though he didn't get the chance in the 11 and getting benched always. He supports his team while warming up at the side. Even celebrate at the bench when his team scored. Never complain.

I wish Leno started more, shot-stopping wise he's absolutely clear of Ramsdale. And if you look at the nature of goals Ramsdale has conceded recently you would come to realize that Leno would of easily saved those anyday. Don't forget how this guy saved us from being at the bottom half of the PL table repeatedly, Leno normalized making key saves like Ramsdale did against Leicester but as usual the English media did not give him the same hype. He's a rare talent for making unbelievable saves likewise to his German counterparts like Ter Stergen and Neuer. Yes i know how important it is in modern day football for GKs to especially be good with the ball on their feet. But look at Alisson and Mendy, yes they are world-class keepers however recently they have been real sloppy w their own ball distribution. In fact for alisson this isn't a rarity. Apart from goal distribution which Ramsdale beats him to, leadership skills? We have seen from the Open Mic video that Leno is just as capable as being vocal at the back. Ramsdale made his debut with the best back four we had in years, and then the clean sheets came and Leno was shoved aside like he hadn't provided any proper services for us. Keep in mind Leno never had the quality of squad we had now. No disrespect to Ramsdale, hes a great keeper but id rather see Leno in goal. Uff i just realize i wrote alot 😅 This is just my strong opinion so lemme know what u think ig..

We appreciate your epistle but let me make one thing clear to you. Leno may be good, but he lost form drastically. Don't attribute it to the backline in front of him. There are teams with less experienced defenders and their goalkeepers are keeping them in games. So many of the goals he conceded were his fault, and analysis proved it. Leno thought he was irreplaceable at goal. He became complacent. He never knew that Ramsdale who was bought from a relegated club could keep him on the bench. But that's life. Sometimes,you're good, sometimes you're not. The only thing that can bring him back to the squad is an injury to Ramsdale,if not, I don't see it happening. Had it been we have other competitions we play for, then it's possible to see him behind the sticks because there would be squad rotation. The only thing he should do is to train harder and improve his game and then wait for an opportunity, and when such opportunity presents itself,he should grab it with both hands.
@@thegazahimself i understand your point but at the same time you’ve got to remember your judgement on Leno is based off of years with a backline that is terrible compared to what it is now. Within a year, Ramsdale has been amazing but there have been some moments where I question his goalkeeping. Leno is definitely the better shot stopper but Ramsdale is better at distribution and dominating the ball in the air. Only time will tell if we have made the right decision, for all we know we could be back here complaining about needing another keeper because Ramsdale’s shot stopping isn’t good enough 🤷🏽♂️
You've got to wonder why we sold Martinez to keep Leno to then get Ramsdale to bench Leno to then question if we should start Leno They're clueless, even us as fans could see Martinez was without a doubt a better keeper

people forget leno has always been a top shot stopper. you can rarely beat him 1 on 1. ramsdale actually shot stopping skills aren’t no where near lenos capabilities and we’ve seen it against liverpool, palace and brighton

Just play a back four of Holding and Gabriel (central defense) White (right back) and Cedric at left back. That way xhaka go back to midfield and we continue to play players comfortably in their natural positions in the middle and attack

Pepe is the only player in the front that I see who has the composure to chip the keeper of needed. He has a quality that the rest don’t. Can we give him some time up front and u never know. He can save us the issues of having to bring in two quality front men if he can be the second in line. We got nothing to lose at this point it’s so or die. We lose we lose and come back stronger next year but for now let’s get after it and give it everything to win games

What i think our lineup against southampton should be: martinelli pepe odegaard tavares elneny xhaka cedric gabriel holding white ramsdaleif That way, we have a solid defensive structure and we can also launch a quick counter attack with the pacy players we have forward and i know people are going to say 'ohh this is too much change, it really isnt because these guys know how to play in a back 3, they did that when we won the fa cup final and plus if we need to we can bring saka, ESR, nketiah or lacazete ( if we are that desperate for him) off the bench and plus if one of our midfielders are a bit tired, then we can bring lokonga on to replace them or one of our other youngsters so this is a really strong lineup for arteta to use and he should probably use this sort of lineup for the remainder of the season if we really want a shot at top 4
