Best foundation for nuclear reactor I've ever seen, congratulations!
Ppl like u are good at blah blah. But when it comes to real life you can't even paint ur room

Pensei o mesmo.
The bast foundation
That's real enforcement ,💪🏿great job.
Piling is vital for soft foundation yet only three meters bamboo stakes used, and one meter concrete with double layer steel bar,one meter brick wall built, the structure will sink or tilted or whatever due to soft foundation because of gravitational effect.

Wonderful community civic action to a project requiring knowledge in construction. I can only think of the planning that went into that project. Wonderful job.
Huhu ubuhuh
Maaantap' kawan Contruksi Nya sangat bagus dan rapi, salam sukses selalu
A very STRONG foundation. Incredible workers and planners.
Foundation is for war tank to drive in . Best strongest Foundation 💪
Lots of work and nice to know the procedures of this kind of project. Excellent job 👍
If you were paying for this, you would be okay with a giant slab floating on mud? You have no clue.
Thanks for knowledge
As a civil engineer,it's helpful to those with no concept.
I am wondering what the construction is for. The only think it a vault as the walls are so thick, I understand they built a raft as the ground is so wet.
These guys trained at backyard, since childhood.😄
This is OUTSTANDING
Vietnamese man, work construction pretty good, they are very skillful.
Congrats to the video contributor , with the responses & viewer reaction surly this a huge yourube vdeo success... most intrestingly theres so much contradiction ,curiousity & wonder in this exoensive video making . I must thanks again to our vietnsmese friend . This video will be an excellent choice for my construction class teaching / discussion next week . Best regards from Veritas Malaysia.
???
Mấy ông miền bắc làm phụ hồ rồi lên thầu mới làm kiểu này bạn ạ.gần như 100% luôn . Người có học ra ai mà làm kiểu tốn tiền như này mà độ bền chưa chắc đã tốt.
The basement is Very strengthened ....nice... wonderful 😃
You have no clue. The substrate is not sufficient to hold the weight of that RIDICULOUS slab/pour. Looks as if it's supposed to support some machinery, but that just adds to the weight and that slab can easily begin to sink on any side. Oh... and it will definitely crack even if it doesn't come apart due to all the reinforcement. This is just crazy. Doesn't matter that it was pouring in place, same effect as if an already cured slab had been dropped onto that muddy mess. Do you not see how easily that bamboo went in and how deep? Ugh.
Very strong work, nice
MANTAP sekali pekerjaannya,, best video...
In the USA we have to place plastic safety caps atop all rebar pointing up to avoid getting impaled in a fall.
Lol in merica people don’t work as safe as Asian people. In Asia there is no insurance so people know how to be safe in the work place and work twice as hard. They did all this in one day, in merica they would probably only got the hole dug even with all the equipment 😂
In some places yes, in other places no. It varies by state.
THIS WAS NOT DONE IN ONE DAY. HAHAHAHAHA
In America, safety first. In Vietnam, safety last!!! It is so sad to say people do not care or understand about safety.
Thanks for the content because it's so helpfull🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Bel lavoro 👍💯

Only to people here it may seem like overkill but clearly the ground is loose and very wet it seems to be in Asia somewhere.and it's a big building it needs to be that thick.
Good job 👍
Great work
good team good work 👍
As per ACI 318, the spacers shall be similar material specs as the concrete
At least it will sink into the mud in one piece! The bamboo is not tied to the base rock so the entire structure could sink but it is sure as heck solid!
Hard work but I like it 😘😘
its a raft foundation, there should be enough steel and concrete depth to resist structural failure of the foundation from differential settlement. building leaning is another thing . ..
More Rebar!! :)
Good one .. how's the actual house looks....
brilliant technique.
Boston is mostly landfill. Neighborhoods like Back Bay and the South End have their foundations were built on logs pushed down to bedrock like this. The problem is that in some areas, the ground water level was reduced and then the logs rotted... and now there are foundation issues.
Near where the Salesforce tower is in San Francisco had multi-story buildings supported with log pilings.
The tallest building in Boston is in BackBay Hancock tower.
Excellent looks fantastic and showing your skilled craftsman I know because I have done this work and very hard work. Thank you 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Bamboo poles as bakau piling?
Quả mũ cối là biết chắc Việt nam mình rồi
My best friend, Amazing video. I enjoyed watch your video. Thanks
good job 👍
When you can push in small wood piles with a tiny excavator in a second, they are not going to do much in the long run.
Very nice work
This is good information and education for everyone who wanna build a house
I'm not an engineer but wouldn't the uneven rate of rot in the bamboo cause weakness in the foundation over time
I agree also, I know bamboo is a very strong and flexible material but that ground is going to be very unstable. From how deep those bamboo poles were driven it's safe to say it's all clay underneath and since it's right next to a creek it'll be always wet. Should've went for the safe route and used stone pillars driven deep as the foundation.
It’s Vietnam, in the civil industry for these small projects they don’t work to any international (or national VN) building codes, construction standards or regulations.
Ground support, stiffener while they make the first slab. After that it is "Floating" With the cast structure on top to keep it ridgid, the whole thing could sink or tilt as a whole, but should NOT be any uneven settling.
what about termites?
It looks better than those made by the Chinese
Nhà kết cấu không chân đúng chất dân nón cối ẩu

Good Techniques with Foundation work
Wow, I will park dozen of my tanks on that foundation.
When was this building built? Why did you fill the area next to it with soil?
Does this fondation ever last long? Seems like to me the bamboo doesn't bring any strenth to the structure. It is neither long enough to reach solid rock, nor strong enough to hold the weight.
It is likely only meant to be temporary support until the reinforced concrete sets. The long term support is from the rebar.
It's China what do you expect?
@@trxtech3010 16:38 sadly it is not China
I agree...improvisation with a short term...but it is a bad replacement for piles of short duration if they are not long enough to solid ground...as it looks like the ground is clay, so it is not strong...this system they have made now. ..it helps a bit the floating slab that is then manufactured...such reinforced concrete slabs are the only rational solution and a more permanent solution on swampy ground...but in combination with pile systems...wooden or reinforced concrete, which must be long enough, they reach the load-bearing rock floor
I noticed the counter-laying of the bars of the lower reinforcement... because the plate is more load-bearing in the shorter direction, the whole bars with hooks in the shorter direction had to be laid first... what the guys did from two pieces, with minimal switching, is not the best solution... i mean statically not acceptable and wrong...potempa can put these long bars on these bars in the longitudinal direction... here I see a mistake in the thinking of these very hardworking and resourceful workers... in the end...if the timbers are too short and do not reach the load-bearing floor...under the weight of the building...the building will sink at least to the ground...but maybe they measured the necessary length of the stakes by sounding the ground...
Very good👍👍
BĂT QUA. HẾT ĐỜI BÔ 2..30 NĂM. TỚI ĐỜI CON .ĐÂP SỬA LÀM NHÀ MỚI. VẬY THÔI.
what in the hell are they building that will require a 3 foot thick foundation ???????
The ground is very loose and wet and it's a huge building they need to make it sturdy

Everyone assumes this foundation is for a building, I believe these are containment pads for large storage silos. Seen a lot of them in industrial facility construction in the states.
Nice work
Its a concrete raft, a slab floating on a swampy ground, can not see the point of the bamboo as too short and pointless as piles but maybe its their way as bamboo has good strength and better than steel in wet soil, maybe an anchor point stopping slab floating off, my guess only
ok, here is the big question to this video: why did they not make this part 100% concrete? why that layer of bricks? cant be costs - otherwise they would have used more bricks for the walls between the pillars and making it 100% concrete would have been faster anyway. so, what functionality do the bricks provide, that the concrete cant?
Perplexing to say the least!
@R L There are watertight mixtures of concrete and the very bottom here is made of concrete whilst the brick layer is a little above. The bricks (having larger pores) will without doubt suck water and hold it, but they will not let it pass through, so they cant work as a drainage, Im afraid. Maybe, even though it is against all the building rules in my cold country, the bricks will be watered frequently and release the water over time by evaporation and so keep the floor and walls cool - could this be a simple way of climate control for the interior of houses in very warm countries?
This is a flooded area.
@@nguyenquanghoc5085 Ok, thanks, but how can the bricks as they are arranged here help the building dry faster after a flood?
Magnifique
Amazing

Vietnamese people are very experienced in using bamboo being used as deadly traps during Vietnam war! Now they are using it for construction purposes. These are heavily reinforced concrete pavement for possible hidden garages for tanks, right next to neighboring houses to conceal their true identity! Also, a possibility of an air raid shelter near the center of a residential neighborhood.
Really appreciate
good job, okay eto...
