Idk, skilled/licensed tradesmen make crazy money in North America. More so than majority of white color workers. This has to do more with the particular country.

@@vlad1889 They may earn more, but being an entrepreneur also means less safetiness financially, and for an entrepreneur there is no 9-17 type working days; weekend also means working days. Not sure about employees. In certain countries they have serious rights (Austria, The UK and France for example), in other countries they can choose between grey market employment (zero financial safetiness) and working legally but with similar conditions as a slave.

По количеству Генераторов я думаю это результат ударов по покрытой лаком проволоке, долго после такого ремонта вряд ли отработает вот и получается круговорот при ремонте и кстати не показали что они делают с якорем! Он как и статор тоже участвовать в работе генератора может 😉

In the West alternators are 90% thrown (when they could be reused indefinitely) if not more. Whole cars do not last more than 10 years in average in First world countries and thrown away.

Don`t know why but this video reminded me of a kid in my school back in the day. While the rest of us were struggling to achieve academic passes Tommy knew he could not do it on that front so he left school without exam results. Next thing i know Tommys getting a reputation on engine tear down and rebuilds. That was his gift, just a natural with engines of cars, motorbikes and anything relating to that stuff. A reputable garage manager snapped Tommy up and he never looked back. He was the go to guy. Seems most people have a talent if it can be found.

Yes, if he put some aftermarket parts it should work with more load now then it was intended to be used when left factory. Same with some modern cars and parts, for example car batteries. We got a guy who restore them, he simply put thicker plates inside it and the battery survives twice the original time.

I used to rebuild truck alternators as a young Truck mechanic, no or low output was faulty reg pack 9 out of 10 times, sometimes rectifier, new reg pack / rectifier clean out dust and commutator, sometimes new brush set and Alternator back to good again….saved garage a lot of cash over refurbed Alternators!

I build valve amps for hifi and guitar and I do a surprising amount of transformer restoration. I turn out things of beauty but its actualy not nearly as much work as these guys put in with a quarter the tools - genuinely humbling!

You can buy reconditioned alternators all over America, if you want your own reconditioned take it to a motor rewinders, i wouldn't put this in my vehicle, roughly wound and the test is does it bring a light on.

Wow I give alot of respect for this hard work and engineering.
These are kinds of skilled craftspeople people insult when they look down on the working class. These people deserve a safe work environment and a wage that can support their family. I hope things will change for the better in the future.
Idk, skilled/licensed tradesmen make crazy money in North America. More so than majority of white color workers. This has to do more with the particular country.
They lack of masonry skills because their houses are in a very poor condition.

Not sure about employees. In certain countries they have serious rights (Austria, The UK and France for example), in other countries they can choose between grey market employment (zero financial safetiness) and working legally but with similar conditions as a slave.

По количеству Генераторов я думаю это результат ударов по покрытой лаком проволоке, долго после такого ремонта вряд ли отработает вот и получается круговорот при ремонте и кстати не показали что они делают с якорем! Он как и статор тоже участвовать в работе генератора может 😉

Здесь хотя бы обмотка медная. Знакомый купил с алюминиевой. Замкнуло через неделю. Теперь знаю почему. Молотком по обмотке. Уровень моего личного АХЕРА поднялся на новую высоту.

In the West alternators are 90% thrown (when they could be reused indefinitely) if not more. Whole cars do not last more than 10 years in average in First world countries and thrown away.

Don`t know why but this video reminded me of a kid in my school back in the day. While the rest of us were struggling to achieve academic passes Tommy knew he could not do it on that front so he left school without exam results. Next thing i know Tommys getting a reputation on engine tear down and rebuilds. That was his gift, just a natural with engines of cars, motorbikes and anything relating to that stuff. A reputable garage manager snapped Tommy up and he never looked back. He was the go to guy. Seems most people have a talent if it can be found.
Was he also good on the old pin ball machines and did he work down the docks in his spare time
These guys have been restoring and assembling these generators for a long time, they could do it with their eyes closed.

Yes, if he put some aftermarket parts it should work with more load now then it was intended to be used when left factory. Same with some modern cars and parts, for example car batteries. We got a guy who restore them, he simply put thicker plates inside it and the battery survives twice the original time.

I used to rebuild truck alternators as a young Truck mechanic, no or low output was faulty reg pack 9 out of 10 times, sometimes rectifier, new reg pack / rectifier clean out dust and commutator, sometimes new brush set and Alternator back to good again….saved garage a lot of cash over refurbed Alternators!

I build valve amps for hifi and guitar and I do a surprising amount of transformer restoration. I turn out things of beauty but its actualy not nearly as much work as these guys put in with a quarter the tools - genuinely humbling!

I've seen US mechanical repair videos where this part (alternator) is taken out and put in a new one. Here in Argentina they are also repaired, how incredible are the economies in the world
You can buy reconditioned alternators all over America, if you want your own reconditioned take it to a motor rewinders, i wouldn't put this in my vehicle, roughly wound and the test is does it bring a light on.
