  • All you need to do to fix a dc motor is to open it and join the two copper wires. The wires which lead down to the place wher we give electric current. 1000000000% working.

  • Two major suggestions. One is regarding your solar generator. Use a coupler to directly connect the motors. This will improve the conversion efficiency. Second is regarding the repair of dc motor. Machine oil is used to lubricate the moving parts and not the magnet and rotor coil. Should have oiled the shaft. Otherwise it is wonderful video. Keep it up.

  • by converting the solar energy to mechanical energy, you already lost some energy due to conversion efficiency. It is better to put the solar directly connected to the phone charging port (ofc with right electrical components).
