Try 18:9 for full screen on i phones while blurring the top and bottom to make it look full screen for android when making vertical youtube videos
Bonus tip for stability -if you don't have a gimbal, use a neck strap, put it on like normal and using both hands, push the camera out away from your chest to brace the neck strap taught against the back of your neck. It gives you even more stability and can really give great results.

What are the best settings for filming outside in the sun? ISO, F Stop, and Shutter speed.
Keep shutter double your frames, iso will prob have to be as low as possible, if you have nd filters you can choose whatever f stop you want

Personally, I would not shoot vertical video unless my eyes were one above the other.
Your vertical content sucks because it's vertical. There is no fixing that, except to rotate your camera correctly.
