  • Incredible film! I didn’t know I’d enjoy it that much. Jodie Foster and Tahar Rahim were so fantastic. They should get Academy Award nominations for this. Maybe they will in 2022. This was the best film I had seen in a year. I got “Silence of the Lambs” chills when Jodie Foster was walking through the corridor and halls at Guantanamo for the first time. Watching those two actors sit in a room to talk throughout this film could’ve only been made suspenseful and riveting because of their impeccable performances. Every gesture on their facial reactions to what the other is saying is tensely readable that it evokes all kinds of thoughts and emotions.

  • It’s good to see different perspectives of everything that really happened. Reminds me of the Japanese bombing Pearl Harbor and then the U.S. rounding up Japanese immigrants/American Japanese citizens into camps. History repeats itself because no one learns from it. And when hurt occurs anger and fear arises creating uncalled for justice towards some people based wrongful assumptions.
