Being able to stand up has really changed truck (shell) campers.😄
No doubt! its a great option to really utilize your truck bed. Thanks for watching!
My pinoy bros! Great video!
🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭 Hell yeah thanks for watching man!
That's a sweet set up. Way to represent Vegas.
Agreed! Love seeing these local Vegas companies come into the outdoor/camping/overlanding space! Thanks for watching!
Indeed, nice set up,like the space you have on your roof tent
Gfc is more than 100 lb lighter. And seriously strong. The pack out looks great for someone who might want to add tons of accessories. I do worry about the strength of a brand new product like that though. For me personally I like the gfc for how simple it is. I don’t want tons of crazy gear and accessories. I just need a place to sleep and secure place for my minimal gear and surfboards.
Definitely agree! The GFC is Baja tested and is rugged as you can get from a structural and offroading capability. Its proven for sure! It all comes down to how you use your camper and what kind of adventures you want to or place to do (whether you need mountain bike racks, snowboards or surfboards, etc)! The GFC is also a a bit cheaper compared to Packout, the Packout is more of a middle man between GFC and Super Pacific in terms of pricing. Thanks for watching Trav!
Fantastic setup. Glad they are here in Vegas.
Its so awsome that they are in Vegas and pairing up with other local Vegas businesses for other aspects of their camper (ex. Side table)! Good stuff. Thanks for watching!
Nice will definitely look into the Packout Campers!
Its a great option for customizing the camper for however you want to use it! Thanks for watching!
Your videos keep improving man. You've become our favorite channel to watch
Appreciate that man! I'm always aiming to upload better and better videos! Thanks!
The Packout design reminds me of me Xtrusion rack , just taken to the next level. Sounds like you may be getting one soon . I am going to check and see if they make one for the Maverick .Thanks
Agreed! And nahh i'm sticking to the GFC unless I do a full camper upgrade (all hard sided, etc) lol!
Pretty sweet. Looks like he nailed it.
Its a great alternative and a middle man between GFC and Super Pacific in terms of cost. Thanks for watching Brandon!
As a solo camper, I love the fact your access to the top is from inside a locked up truck bed. The whole outside ladder access always bothered me. This is so much better. While I would not need all the accessories, I do love the hydraulic lift on the upper bed and the fact they have an insulation package for winter camping. Makes me want to get a truck, now.
Agreed! When we had a roof top tent, the exposed outside ladder was always in the back of my mind in terms of safety/security. The hydraulic lift and insulation is definitely a pro! Thanks for watching Joan!
Need this camper!!!!
Its a great option! Thanks for watching!
Dope camper yo!
Its a cool setup! Thanks for watching Dane!
Love the setups!! Hiking sedona in the morning and heading for San Diego Friday to beachside camp for the week....Best weather!! Timmy C Arizona
Jealous! We love both those areas lol Have a great time out there, are you dispersed camping or campground camping in SD??
@Kadenventures Carlsbad state beach. Love it!!
Looks like it’s time to offer up your camper and upgrade. That new camper is dope.
Man I wish but if i upgrade at all its going to be a hard sided camper lol
Thank you for the tour. Looks like a really nice product! I'm sure they gave some thoughts about the name prior to going that route. Since Milwaukee has a trademark on the one word spelling PACKOUT. You slipped up and said Camp Out. That would be a great name. Looks like they need a Nissian Frontier in the line up. So maybe they need to set you up as a Brand Ambassador. 😊 As for the bug screens on the inside of the GFC. Well we would have to say yes, it's a pain to open up and roll up. But at the same time, we love having the over hang awnings on the outside with the GZila setup. Food looked so tasty. What no surprise alcoholic beverage? 😅 Mark (& Teresa) Hampstead Maryland • Purpose Built Adventure Rig • Ford Ranger - GFC Camper V2 #1919
Good to know! I think their full name is Packout Campers which I believe they patented it? And lol nah the only upgrade i'd do on my Frontier is to a full on hard sided built out camper (maybe a Scout or Kimbo?? I'd definitely be interested in a brand ambassador deal with them lol) Good point regarding the bug screens! I do like the ability to turn them into awnings (whats interesting is our Roof Top Tent actually had both, screens inside AND the additional awning on the outside you can setup with a few poles, best of both worlds BUT its still a Roof top tent so the take down was a pain lol) Thanks for watching guys!
I don't know what's up with KZhead but we've now had 2 comments removed from your videos. Any way short version, we love the Scout. Look up a great story in Truck Camper Magazine 2020. Wonderful back story on the owner. Kimbo is way to small.
@@OutOfOfficeCamping That is weird! I'll check that story out! And yes I'd take the Scout over the Kimbo any day, the Scout just looks a lot more comfortable and spacious. But i'm honestly open to any hard sided/enclosed camper that will fit on a 5ft mid size truck lol

Amazing beautiful ❤️
Thanks for watching!!
This dope af
Thanks for watching!
That looks like another great camp spot you found on Mount Charleston. Would you mind sharing where abouts it is.
This is off Deer Canyon road / Champion Road on Mount Charleston (36.345667, -115.640847). This area is an easily accessible dispersed spot on the mountain. A few more dispersed locations I outlined in this video if your interested: kzhead.info/sun/g6quh8ain52XfWg/bejne.html Thanks for watching Elaine!
Kabobs! With skewers 😜If I were in Vegas right now, I'd be living up in Mt Charleston. haha.
Right!! I was thinking about last time I tried making Kabobs SOMEONE forgot the skewers lol! and no doubt its been brutal here, cant wait for the winter!!
Oh damn, watch out GFC and Super Pacific! Loving all the improvements from Packout Campers. Are you planning to switch from GFC? 😁Awesome builder from Las Vegas too!
No doubt! Its a good option compared to the GFC and Super, price wise its right in the middle of those 2. The GFC is definitely rugged though and baja proven but its not something I do with how we camp lol it all comes down to how you use it. And nahhh i'm not upgrading from the GFC unless I go into a full hard sided camper like a Kimbo or Scout loll Thanks for watching Rob!
C'mon man make these for f150 6.5....best accessories ever!!!. I live in canada & would love to come down to vegas for an install in 2024.
I'm sure the F150 is on the list! They've already done one for other full sized trucks like the Tundra, contact them if your serious they could probably find an F150 in town to get the initial measurements going
Pretty sick! Wish they made one for the Ranger. Also I wonder if the shell can be fitted with a camper later?
I'm sure they could make one for the Ranger if there was demand! If your serious I'd definitely hit them up and ask. Thanks for watching!
I’m definitely gonna buy that Korean barbecue grill plate, thank you for the link! Also, I wanted to know where did you get that packet already marinated meat for the Korean BBQ meat 🥩?
He got it from a Korean market in Vegas called Greenland! They sell pre-marinated meats for KBBQ, this was the first time we tried their pre-marinated meat and we will definitely be going back again! lol Thanks for watching Martin!
@@Kadenventures thank you, that’s awesome, I got to see if if order from them
that packout camper is amazing!! Do you have any recommendations for something similar for a chevy silverado 1500 short bed?
I believe the Go Fast Camper v2 can fit on the Silverado 1500 short bed! Packout doesnt have a model for the Silverado yet I dont think but we can always ask if your local to vegas?
Wow...I just discovered this camper! Compact, lightweight, modular, 10 second setup, made in Las Vegas Nevada (my old home town of 12 years before I moved to Reno)...and Pinoy owned! I think its obvious what to go with when I get a truck camper for the Tundra.
Glad you found the channel! This is definitely a great option for the Tundra, customizable to whatever/however you plan on camping with your truck! I think we saw one of your videos about why you moved to Reno from Vegas??
Yeah thats me. I normally post tons of overland expo video but in 2023 I had other things get in the way so the algorithm has probably dropped me? Ill be back to filming when SEMA come around in Nov. They will have a new extra large expanded overland section. I'll try and interview as much as possible. @@Kadenventures
@@mixflip Awesome that will be exciting to see!
It looks like when you sleep with your head in to the wedge it doesn’t seems as cramped as other wedges.
On the GFC its not that cramped, we've slept with our head that way many times (it more depends on whether the truck is level or if it leans more forward to back which will dictate which way we sleep lol) but compared to the Packout camper there is MUCH more room on the wedge side which helps with storing bedding. Thanks for watching Mike!
The way the zippers open on the GFC is the main reason I decided against. Not cool that I essentially have to close it all up in a storm.
I dont blame you there! luckily being in the desert we dont run into a lot of rain but if I did I'd have a lot more of an issue with how those windows are setup on the GFC lol Thanks for watching!
@Kadenventures hey buddy come up to Central Otegon and I'll show you the epic local spots.
Great camper! I really like it. I'm looking forward to buy one. Where can I get more informations?
Pack Out Camper website: packoutcampers.com/ If you have any questions let me know and I can forward those on to Jags! Thanks for watching!
Looking for something like this for my '23 GMC Canyon AT4.
Awesome! I'm not sure if there is a unit already measured for the Canyon but if your in Vegas, they can use your truck to measure a camper up. Thanks for watching man!
Will your buddy have any plans for 3rd gen Nissan Frontier? Also who makes his tire carrier set up ? Ps enjoy watching your vids
We can definitely make one for your Frontier! The tire carrier was from Mobtown Off-road.
Thanks man! Glad you enjoy the content👌
Lone Peak campers has entered the chat
I havent seen one myself or researched it extensively but from what I've seen thus far it looks to be a great option on the market!
That's a cool set up👍
Thanks for watching Roger!
Bro I made a video about the videos and the GFC. Honestly baffles me why they did it like they did. If they fixed with the windows and the venting issues, it would solve nearly all my issues.
Yeah it is very odd i'm not sure why they did it other than maybe it makes it easier for them to streamline the build process? The GFC windows suck for sure though lol In terms of venting we do run an electric fan in the tent at night near an open window to keep air flowing which helps
Tons of things to love about the packout. really impressive. The number one thing I hate about my GFC is the rain fly being permanently part of the camper. So if it rains shortly before needing to pack up, you're getting your sleeping area soaked when you do pack up. If Packout makes a removeable rain fly (so you can store the wet fly away from the mattress) and they make a model for the Maverick, I'd sell my GFC ASAP and buy one.
Removable rainfly will come standard with Pack Out. We just forgot to bring it lol
We can absolutely make one for Maverick.
@@packoutcampers that’s awesome to hear. Any idea on a timeline for a Mav model?
@@bear8046 you'd be the first Mav model so I'd need to measure your truck bed and cab height. Are you local?
@@packoutcampers I am also interested in one for the Maverick. Thanks
I want this. Is it available for 2018 Nissan frontier? Your website only shows Tacoma models.
I dont think its available yet but if your located in Vegas they can measure your truck for dimensions
Could I stand on top of it? Like if I wanted to hunt from the top?
Hey Anthony! GFC states that the roof can hold up to 500lbs when the tent is closed, however, I think this is more distributed weight (ex. wood boards extending the length of the roof, etc) I feel like the Honey comb that the roof is made out of isnt THAT strong where you could walk on top of the roof without issue like hunting and walking around on it.
GFC was the innovative front-runner…..it’s a shame that they haven’t engineered a new model with the best of everything from all the new-guys, in a third version.
i'm sure they will come out with version 3 eventually! And I hope they take innovations from other campers out there to stay competitive in this market, I feel like there is always something new coming out!
Trying get like you oum
Thanks for watching!
Can I use this pack out insulated on GFC?
I'm not sure but I'd definitely test it out this Winter if its available and let you know!
I like both, but I still have a hard time understanding a tent camper setup that costs $10K, that does not have any winter insulation. Most of these companies come from the hot deserts, and don't seem to consider Fall, Winter, or Spring camping anywhere else.
Definitely understandable, Packout will be selling thermal wall panels for winter camping to keep the tent warmer which could also be used for Fall/spring when its a bit milder. I've never seen any soft sided campers that come standard with insulation for winter that cost under 10k though, most hard shelled campers thats a 4 season camper (Scout, 4Wheel, Kimbo) are all at least 20k minimum if not more
Where’s the tabo mount?
😂
lol!! Coming soon!
no love for Chevy ZR2?
If your local in Vegas they may be able to measure and size your ZR2 for a camper!
Their website needs some work, no phone numbers no option to contact with inquiries. I’m ready to put a deposit down on this for a 5 foot Nissan frontier 2018. How do I make that happen and when will that model be available?
That's weird, their contact number is listed here their website: packoutcampers.com/pages/contact-us Jag's number you can call or text: 702-501-1057
better to avoid 😢😮
Thanks for watching 🤙🏽
Is this a Pinoy company?!
It is!
This is an exact copy of the Alu-Cab canopy Camper I thought its only the Chinese that copy...LOL
No it’s not…. There are actually very few similarities other than it’s a cap and it has a tent attached.
There are definitely some items that make it stand out against the Alu, price and accessory options are a big one
exact copy??? SMH
🤔 *Promo sm*

I loved your channel, but.....the camera movement is really annoying.have you watch other KZhead channel? No? You should,
