One of the iconic climbs on the Costa Blanca, Spain. We saw so many pro teams doing there training and testing on this one. We had a few days extra to film things for ourselves and this was high on the list of roads to ride. We got a sunny day but unfortunately the wind was in our faces for this one.

Crazy to me that I started watching these maybe a year ago and they looked terrifying, but I've now done longer descents myself with full confidence, though maybe not cornering so fast.
Thank you Brian for the descent from Coll de Rates, I´m gonna climb it and descend it in 2 months when I´m on holidays in Spain Oh If we pay attention at around 8:50 those are the cars from the cyclist team we saw climbing up when Brian was speeding down 🚴

Do you have toeover lap issues with the scott foil SAFA? what frame size are you using? and this is a different foil that your used to using, you have a black one?

Wish my bike was geared better for climbing. Just did a 7 mile climb up a local mountain and got passed by a couple people just spinning to win and my 36 - 25 just ain't it. I can get up steep stuff but I spend half my time out of the saddle and the other half grinding in the 25 tooth until I inevitably have to kick it a few gears and stand back up again. I love the eleven speed Ultegra but another gear would be much appreciated some days. I would swap for a bigger rear cassette but the problem is most of my riding is on relatively flat rolling hills type of stuff where the single tooth transitions between gears is really nice for a smooth cadence. Can't have it all unfortunately.

Beautiful video and incredible descending skills, but it's funny how you complain about cars taking more than their lane and cyclists cutting corners on ascent, when you yourself cut corners and cross the line constantly, even when going into fairly blind corners. I know what your channel is all about, but I think this style of descending should be reserved for closed roads and races. Not only do you put yourself into danger, but you endanger other cyclists and give us as a community a bad name.
