@@ahtaryak6401 no there electro capacitive switches made by varmilo google them they are a pretty smooth linear because the actuation point is contactless

Just got this keyboard, and it is fantastic. Decided the go with the rose (55g) cause I do have another one with the sakura’s and I thought that they were too light for me. (Got the Beijing Opera one.) As for the gap on my flare star, it’s uniform so my unit seems fine. It might be production issues.

i bought the box white version with wireless and i love it the only thing i would say is your right about the off center thing i did not notice it till you pointed it out the board is dark tho so its unnoticeable in use i did get a warped space bar for my white space bar and i damaged the cap where the cherry stab goes so that cap is done i ordered epbt x gok bow keycaps for it hopefully looks nice you did make me curious i was about to order the godspeed set off drop before then i heard you mention you own it could you put that set on the miya pro for a video i wonder how nice it is on it
The colors would be ever so slightly off so I avoided putting them on this board. I appreciate the watch!
Surprisingly varmilo does the keycap designs as well. They also manufactured everything. I’m not really sure what hand ducky has in these keyboards lol

I'm a mechanical keyboard newbie and just bought this keyboard. I tried plugging it in my computer using the USB cable included and it doesnt seem to be turned on for some reason. I dont see the keyboard being lit up and when I try typing on the keyboard it's not working. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.
you made a good point about just getting a tkl instead since its only one row shorter, so im contemplating if i should just get a varmilo tkl :/
The other factor is that TKL will have the function row, so youll gain vertical foot printing too

I honestly think it's better than the SF since it doesn't have any specific shift key needed if you want to replace the keycaps! A huge detail I mistakenly left out!
also do you know all the actuation points on the varmilo ec2 switches? i looked everywhere and couldnt find it. i was hoping the daisy switches have high actuation point like the silvers

Can the Flare Star be used with an M1 Mac Mini without issues? Please help me someone!
not sure about this exact model, but I've used the Ducky one 2 TKL with my mac (intel not M1) and it can work. You can bind the windows key to be Command for MacOS, and any other keys you might want to change
how do you turn on the backlighting I just got this keyboard and this has been nothing short of nightmarish to figure out XD

I bought the flare star keyboard but the backlight LEDs dont seem to work. I cannot find any manual or firmware update online, I am pressing fn+x to turn them on/off but nothing happens. I am also trying fn+arrow keys and nothing happens.I have the keyboard connected via wireless and the only keys I have with light are number 1 and PgUp. Please advise. Thank you

I just got the keyboard in hand but for some reason the white leds are lighting up and only the page up is lit any idea why?

Gaming over typing on the switches I got, super light makes for typing errors at times. Go for a heavier switch option is what I’d recommend!
