  • Explained: 1) He’s walking thru the grass and there’s no house there. In post production the house is added in to make it look like he’s coming out of it. 2) When he gets to the mailbox and he’s checking the mail, the small house is dropped in behind him. In post production, the folks putting the house behind him are digitally removed with an exact matching shot of the small house and background. Then they edit to the actual house as he goes back to it. The edit is imperceptible because the background shot is exactly the same. 3) The handheld camera shots are faked up until the very end so the shots all line up to make the effects easier to do. The picture is manipulated and moved digitally like a person is holding the camera to make it look more natural. Finally they pick the camera up at the end with actual real camera movement.

  • This one's pretty simple to explain he was originally filmed just walking out of a plain field with no house and as soon as he got Infront of where the house was supposed to be, the letterbox was always small and just close to the camera and then the house being where it was meant to be he was able to interact with it
